Kindred St Ives Nursery and Pre-school

My daughter goes to nursery 2 mornings and 1 full day a week. She has grown so much and come on leaps and bounds since starting at Kindred in September. She loves going to nursery and all of the friendly staff. I feel at ease going to work knowing that she is cared for and safe. She has amazing bonds with the staff and has learnt so much from being there and around other children. It is hard to trust anyone to look after your baby but I do trust the staff there and know she is cared for. I am very grateful for everyone that looks after her.

The staff in Learning Lane are fantastic. They are always welcoming and friendly, which then in turn our daughter has developed great relationships with them. She has always looked forward to going to nursery. Which as parents is so reassuring. I would highly recommend the nursery.

This is a fantastic, well run nursery. I have no hesitation that my child is receiving good care and is getting the most from their time spent at Kindred St Ives Nursery and Pre-school. The staff are always very friendly, the updates on the app are excellent and the overall updating on how my child has been on that particular day is very good. The manager is a credit to the nursery, as are the whole team.

Overall it has been a good experience. My child is happy to go to nursery and all staff have done an incredible job to make her feel at home. Few bits to improve: Not enough parking, always takes me extra minutes to drop/pick up. The app is not updated properly, I understand the staff is busy but there are often mismatches between what they say at pick up and what the app says. Also I get monthly updates with pictures, but many other nurseries give daily pictures and activity details, which would be lovely as our children spend more time at nursery than home and as a parent I would like to know what activities my child does every day.

We have been so impressed by the nursery, I can't fault anything about my daughter's experience. Her transition to the nursery (due to a house move) was managed really well, as was her recent move up a room. My daughter has some health needs which have been supported really well, communication is great and the staff are brilliant. The nursery really feels like an extension of our "village", we feel very lucky to have them. My daughter moved from a much better-provisioned nursery (big outdoor site, forest school), we infinitely prefer Kindred.

Such a lovely nursery. All the staff are so kind and welcoming. My daughter was tricky with drop-offs and the staff in Learning Lane have been brilliant in helping her settle in. She really looks forward to going now.

An outstanding manager and we have really had the best experience for both of our children under her care.

My daughter has been coming here since she turned two and she absolutely bounds through the door each morning. The team are lovely. The food is varied and healthy. The activities are exciting. It’s a wonderful setting. The team picked up on the fact that my daughter needs extra support in some areas and is working hard to help her meet her milestones.

There have been so many, the teams have been so supportive of me and my girls whilst attending the nursery. My husband frequently goes away with work and offers a huge amount of support for my children. Advice, positive feedback and love and care. I would not want my children to go anywhere else!

Every single one of the staff is lovely. They clearly care about the kids they are looking after and take the time to get to know them. Both of my children have had amazing key workers who appreciate them as individuals and help them to flourish.

My toddler twins have been going to the nursery for a few months now. They have settled in really well. Staff have been great and I really feel they understand their needs. I would recommend this nursery.

The team at Kindred are absolutely wonderful. As a vegan family, we were initially concerned about how this would be received at nursery, but they always go above and beyond to ensure that our child is included and that our vegan beliefs are respected. As our child is also bilingual, we really appreciate how much our home language is valued too. The care and attention given to all children is second to none, and I have absolute trust in all of them and wholeheartedly consider this a home-from-home for our child. We are greeted with enthusiasm and energy every morning, and pick-up is the same. The staff are kind, compassionate and genuinely care. We feel enormously grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery.

We cannot rate Kindred St Ives highly enough! This is our third year using the nursery and we have two children attending. Our youngest has a range of intolerances, all of which are catered for without any fuss. The staff are attentive, professional, caring, and generally amazing. We know that our in the best possible setting and that is due to the incredible work of the manager, the room managers and all the staff who work so hard. Thank you!

The administration team are super helpful and will go above and beyond to help with queries and extra ad hoc bookings as and when required.

Every single staff member I have interacted with has been kind, genuine and professional. I highly recommend this nursery.

If I had to make any criticism it is that in my daughter's time at the nursery it became more corporate after joining the Kindred family, however, it was still a great nursery and there were also benefits from that change such as the app.

St. Ives Kindred nurseries is a great place for both of my children. My daughter will be soon finishing her 3 years with nursery which helped her to grow into the lovely smiling kid she is. She runs to the nursery practitioners each morning where she is welcomed with a warm hug and can't wait to jump between her peers to get immersed in the day's play and activities. My little boy enjoys his time in the nursery even though I suspect him eyeing the practitioners with his cheeky looks and smiles. He has plenty of space and encouragement to grow into a wonderful boy. Thank you to the entire team of St. Ives Kindred you have been a huge help and support on our growing path.

daughter was smiling every day when she arrived at nursery and was always so happy to see the staff. My daughter just started eating solids and seemed to enjoy all the delicious homemade food given to her daily. I saw first hand how every day the staff would wipe down and clean everything so thoroughly. I cannot recommend this nursery and staff enough and am very sad to be leaving due to our move abroad.

We are very happy to send our child to Kindred St Ives Day Nursery. She started full-time in December after transferring from a different setting. We noticed a massive positive difference in our child just a few days after starting. The staff are very nice and helpful and very experienced, we get lots of updates via the app on her learning and we really feel involved. The setting is lovely and spacious indoors and outdoors and the activities and room division is very age appropriate. The menus are very well balanced and appropriate. Our child loves going to nursery and we feel very happy and comfortable sending her here.

I first enrolled my eldest daughter at Roundabout (now Kindred) in September 2018, she was a very anxious toddler who didn’t like being away from me.

From the very beginning, the team at Kindred were fantastic. They allowed my daughter to grow at her own speed, surrounded by fun, love and support. They nurtured her, and did everything possible to prepare her for school.

My second daughter is now with the team and is benefitting from the excellent care, learning and freedom Kindred offers every child.

The introduction of the parent app has been brilliant, I really love being able to see my little girl enjoying herself.

I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Kindred, I am truly grateful for the role they have, and still do play in my daughters’ development.
