This is a really lovely, nurturing nursery. I have had 2 children attend the nursery and they absolutely loved it. The teachers are caring, supportive and attentive. My children finished nursery confident, independent, happy and ready for Reception. The best nursery in the area!

Our children flourished in this nurturing environment. The teaching staff have been great at encouraging our children and growing their confidence. It's definitely a well-hidden treasure!

This is one of the best nurseries in the area. Both our kids went to the nursery and then continued in the Vita et Pax primary school. We liked the fact that this nursery was part of a school and benefited from the extensive infrastructure. Also, it is run in a ‘learning driven’ setup rather than a
‘daycare driven’ setup which meant that our kids were academically growing and getting ready for primary school. Overall, in recent years, the school has further enhanced the offering with breakfast club and late club. We love the fact that most of the pupils are from decent families in the local area and hence little kids (and parents) start friendships that shall go for many future years of their life. The nursery staff are experienced and provide excellent care for kids. They are also always ready to incorporate parents’ feedback. And one final thing to mention - the food (lunch menu) provided to the little children is an extensive 3 courses and of high quality.

Can't speak more highly for the school and nursery at Vita. My children loved the nursery in particular. The staff are all so caring and are really engaged with the children to help them develop. This stood out against other nurseries which did not have such a hands-on approach. There is a clear and
consistent pathway for children in the nursery who then want to move on to prep school. The facilities are great with space inside and outside. The rooms are clean and organised with lots of resources for children to explore. The Nursery Teacher in particular is worth the admission fee alone. She really does nurture children helping them to grow in their development and confidence.

We were initially attracted to Vita et Pax by the idea of smaller classes but it was at the open day that we really appreciated what a great place vita is. The students showing us around were so confident, polite, and articulate. They clearly loved the school. I remember thinking that I would like my
girls to turn out like the students who showed us around. Both my children attended the nursery, they couldn't wait to get into school each day. (This is still the case) As parents, we were impressed with the wide variety of activities our girls experienced and the range of subject areas covered. My girls were able to enjoy and explore great indoor and outdoor spaces and were taken care of by experienced and caring staff. The teacher's individual approach to my girls gave them the best possible start to their schooling, whilst the family atmosphere helped settle them into school quickly they have had and continue to have such a happy time at Vita et Pax.

My daughter attends Vita et Pax and I honestly love this school. The standard of education is excellent and the support and care they show to the pupils is outstanding. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They go the extra mile for parents and children. There is much warmth and caring in Vita et Pax
- from the headteacher to all school staff, right through to the parents in the school. It truly is more of a family than a school. My experience in Vita has been that of kindness, fun, laughter, and support. My daughter calls it her ‘magical place’!

Both my children have attended the nursery at Vita Et Pax. I have seen them flourish as individuals in the nursery setting and beyond. The staff have been lovely and I couldn’t ask for more care and attention. My children are confident, happy kids who absolutely love school now and I feel this is all
due to the environment of Vita Et Pax. Within busy London, it is an oasis of calm and community. You get to know the teachers and other parents well and really feel like you’re part of the family.

My child is just leaving EYFS for the infants and I cannot praise the EYFS team at Vita enough. They have really developed my child's confidence and reading before, during, and after lockdown. They are always full of enthusiasm and great ideas. The facilities in the school are great and extra curricular
activities well thought out. Communication through the EExAT learning journal is really clear and provides an excellent insight into your child's day. The school community is welcoming and inclusive with lots of great PFA led events. Definitely recommend.

I have had the privilege of being part of the Vita et Pax community since 2001, and over the years, I have had the pleasure of stepping into various roles, from Nursery Teacher to Deputy Headteacher. My journey at Vita has been deeply fulfilling, watching our school grow and evolve into a nurturing environment where children thrive, feel safe, and love to learn.


Throughout my time here, I’ve always believed that fostering a love for learning and promoting well-being are at the heart of education. As the Head of EYFS, DSL, and Wellbeing Lead, I strive to ensure that our youngest learners develop a strong foundation based on the values of care, sharing, and fairness. I work closely with my exceptional team to provide a high standard of teaching that is child-centered and encourages every child to express their understanding with both their peers and the adults in the setting.


Over the years, I have seen children grow into confident, thoughtful and successful individuals. It’s an honour to see the children of my former students now walking through the doors of our nursery, which speaks volumes about the lasting impact we have on families and the trust they place in us. The bond we share with our school community is priceless, and I am immensely proud to be a driving force behind such a dedicated and passionate team.

I have had the privilege of working at Vita et Pax Preparatory School for over fourteen years, have worked in all year groups, and currently work in the Nursery setting. I am also one of the Wellbeing Team Leads and take pride in looking after the happiness and welfare of all the students in our wonderful school. My Name is Miss Vicki Bates I have gained in my years of childcare 18 years of experience working at Cedar Park Nursery. I'm currently now using my knowledge and skills at Vita et Pax Preparatory School.
I am a level 3 qualified practitioner who has the pleasure of having many different roles in my career such as a Nursery manager, Nursery Senco, Nursery Deputy Manager and a room leader. My passion is childcare and working in partnership with families to encourage their little ones to grow and learn.
I am a designated safeguarding lead and an advocate for safeguarding and diversity. At Vitapl et Pax the children can explore and learn through play and child-initiated activities.

I am a qualified teacher with a First Class BA Hons specialising in EYFS; Foundation Stage and KS1. I have been teaching at Vita et Pax School since 2010 and have a wealth of experience having taught in classes from Nursery to Year 3. I am currently the Reception class Teacher. I hold certificates in Safe Guarding, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Mental Health in Education.
