Part of the Farm Day Nurseries group, their Day Nursery & Pre-School embraces nature-based play. Children from 6 weeks old up to 5 years of age have access to a number of stimulating environments, freshly prepared healthy meals and structured early years learning with an emphasis on play. The team follow the ethos of doing what is best for the children and they truly are at the heart of everything the team do at Adventure Farm Day Nursery. From the beautiful child-based environment to an 'in the moment' planning approach, children and families really do come first!

Children will also benefit from the unique outdoor learning opportunities of being based on a farm, where they will have daily supervised visits across to the National Forest Adventure Farm, where they will be able to meet all of the animals.

My daughter has been attending the Adventure Farm Day Nursery since she was 13 months old. She is now 3.5 years old and she loves going to nursery. All you can ask as a parent. She loves the daily trips to the farm, eats all her delicious foods, attends soft play and the other features available on
the farm, she even watches a lamb being born today, not what you get from a standard nursery. Her learning is really coming along with her starting school in September, and she continues to flourish there. A massive thank you to the girls for looking after her, and she really is going to miss everyone.

My daughter has attended the Adventure Farm Day Nursery since September 2022, starting in the baby room and now she is with the toddlers. My daughter really loves attending the nursery; playing with her friends, visiting the farm and adventures at the soft play. I love how the nursery offers the addition
of the farm and soft play.
My daughter's education/development has always been a great focus of her time in the nursery. She has developed a very good understanding of numbers, shapes, objects and very good language skills. Adventure Farm Day Nursery offers a variety of activities throughout the day including playing with water, playing outside or reading, to name a few. I am confident that her development has advanced due to the care she has been provided with at Adventure Farm Day Nursery.
All the staff are so approachable and friendly, both in person and during their swift correspondence via email. My daughter has developed a great relationship with the workers in each room and is confident every day when she goes into nursery.

Our daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery at the Adventure Farm Day Nursery, especially the trips to the farm!
Her needs are met and she is encouraged to develop skills and independence, she has really developed so much since starting there.

Love the nursery. Kids love visiting the farm, and soft play. Lots of fun activities in the nursery for kids and always something new and educational.
My kids have so much fun and all the new skills they learned. Love to hear about their progress. Best decision ever for them. And the staff is brilliant.

The adventure farm has been amazing for our son, his social skills have come on so much and he seems to learn something new every day.
It was such a good decision to send him at 6 months old, the staff are amazing and we trust them 100%.

This is a great setting, our daughter has been here since she was 10 months old and moved through from babies to pre-toddlers and is now in the toddler room. We couldn’t be happier with the care and development at this nursery, the staff have always been so kind, friendly and professional. Being able
to go to the farm has been an amazing part of our daughter's time here, seeing all the animals, especially the piglets and Guinea pigs. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they have also catered for any allergies really well.

I can’t believe the difference in my son since he first started. He has grown in confidence and learnt so much, the staff work so hard to make his experience the best it can be. He absolutely loves being there and being able to visit the farm as well is just a bonus!

My daughter comes home full of stories about her day. She loves all the staff at kids camp and in pre-school and will talk about them often. It's a great place where the children get to experience such a unique set of activities different to the average setting.

Amazing staff!
Always friendly and will do anything to cater for your child’s need. All activities in the nursery are made from natural resources. My daughter suffers with anxiety and the staff always go above and beyond to make her feel at ease.

My little boy loves going to nursery. He is only 8 months old and I feel so happy that he is in the best of hands on a daily basis. The staff are so lovely and they know him so well already. They are there to go for if in need advice about him and they always know what to say. The nursery itself is
beautiful and there are so many great activities for him to do.

I can’t express how incredible my daughter's journey has been here. Every room she has been through have done absolutely amazing and she has lovely bonds with all staff. Her key person now goes above and beyond every single day to ensure her needs are met and the communication is amazing.
The farm
experiences she gets are lovely and she always comes home telling myself and her daddy about her day and the animals!

Since my child has started at Adventure Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School the staff really took their time with our daughter as she had never been away from me. She settled in well in toddlers and the staff were lovely. She has now gone into preschool where she has made strong connections with staff and
peers and has really come out of herself and grown in confidence. She loves going to the farm and always wants to go to nursery even on the weekend. Can't thank the staff enough they are all amazing.

My daughter has been attending the Adventure Farm Day Nursery since March 2022, the nursery have always been very supportive and accommodating to her needs. She is currently in the toddler room but has been at the nursery since the baby room, each room has fantastic qualities and such caring and compassionate
staff, she has bonds with all of the staff and talks about them at home so much! Couldn’t ask for a better nursery experience.

Our daughter has been going to nursery since September, and after a couple of crying days, she has gone from strength to strength.
She squeals with excitement when she sees the sign for nursery and then runs into the nursery.
Her confidence is amazing because of all the wonderful staff.
They make
sure she is safe and secure in everything she does, they keep us as parents informed, and we will get phone calls about any problems.
They always make sure she has a fantastic learning experience, and you can tell she does because she is so tired when she comes home.
I can't praise the support and effort from everyone enough.
We love all the stay and plays, and it is great to feel involved with the nursery. The Mother's Day event was amazing, and my mum loved being invited as well. We can't wait for more.
Thank you for everything you are doing and are going to do in the future; it was the best decision we made when looking for a nursery for our daughter. We will spread the word to other parents.

My son has been going to the nursery for just over 12 months now (he joined at 11 months old) and he has grown into the most amazing little boy - and the staff have all played their part. When he first started in Babies room I needed a little extra reassurance, as a new parent, and the staff were so
accommodating. If he had a cry on drop-off they would always tell me it was ok to call whenever I wanted to check in on him and they did genuinely mean it. The setting itself is warm and friendly and the toys and facilities they have are wonderful. The main selling point to me was the farm when, in fact now, it's probably the team! My son is super social and is a fun, caring little boy. His development has been amazing to watch and also to see his relationship with the team as well as his nursery friends. It's a true family feel.

I can't thank the fantastic team at Adventure farm Day Nursery & Pre-school enough. It's coming up to a year since I returned to work after having my little girl and her journey at the farm has been amazing. I am reassured daily by the love, care and support my daughter receives. I love the fact she
gets to visit the farm nearly every day she attends. The focus on exploration and outdoor play was one of the deciding factors for us when choosing this nursery and my daughter absolutely gets this exposure we wanted. From the beginning they have met my daughter's needs in regard to her allergies - I know she is safe and in good hands. Fundamentally, it's the team who make it for me and I know my daughter is loved, challenged developmentally, nurtured and looked out for every single day. I am so glad I chose Adventure Farm.

I've been impressed with the nursery staff, two members of staff in particular. On many occasions, I have been greeted by new or unknown staff members who haven't introduced themselves to me. However, all the staff have shown a lovely affection for my child, offering her cuddles when she's been particularly
clingy. When it comes to top-class care of a child I would highly recommend Adventure Farm.

Enrolling our daughter at the Adventure Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School has been the best decision we, as a family, have made. We have seen exponential development in her physical and social attributes since she started around three months ago. Our daughter is besotted by all the staff in the babies'
room but has a really special connection with the room leader who is extremely attentive and caring to all the children. Trusting the care of your child with someone else for the first time is hard and daunting but the Adventure Farm Day Nursery has been amazing in keeping us updated on our daughter's progress and the antics she gets up to playing with all the other children!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am Lucy the Nursery Manager, I have been in childcare for 9 years now and I love nothing more than watching babies grow into independent young people. In my new role as Nursery Manager, I will be on hand for all of your queries, at the Adventure Farm Day Nursery nothing is too big or too small and will always be dealt with in the most professional and caring way.


In my spare time, I love nothing more than going for walks with my two dogs, Teak and Tip, and spending quality time with my family and friends.


At the Adventure Farm Day Nursery, we encourage our children to become confident explorers, take risks and challenges, and enjoy the nature of their outdoor environments. Our nursery has a calming approach where children have their voices listened to and implemented into their daily routines.


I hope to be a friendly face for you all every day and can't wait to meet you all.
