Sunshine Community Nursery

Sunshine Community Nursery is a nursery I would readily recommend to any parent. Once a first time mom, I had at a time had to put my little girl of few months in nursery. Obviously this came with great concern. They took magnificent care of my child. She felt totally and comfortably settled-in that I knew right away from then, that she couldn’t be any safer and well taken care of than she was. This quality of care and attention hasn’t warranted one bit, three years now and counting!

Lovely little nursery, the teachers take their time with my son and have put me at ease. They spend time telling me about his day and development. The app is great, I can see what he is doing and it puts my mind at ease. My son comes home smiling and tells me everything he has done. The nursery have been great during the pandemic and have had great communication.

My son has attended Sunshine Community Nursery since he was eight months old, he’s now four years old and the staff have been great from day one. My son absolutely loves going to nursery and the care and effort they put in to teaching and helping him learn and grow really shows. He has attended full time from quite a young age and it’s not the easiest thing leaving your child for such a long time each week. However, I know that he’s well looked after and the staff absolutely adore him. The staff are always polite, helpful and always understanding. Thank you so much for all you do for us!

All of the staff are amazing, care deeply about the kids and their enjoyment and learning. They have been nothing but brilliant from the day I took my son and daughter there, both throughout all the different rooms and with the different members of staff he and she has had contact with, I have been nothing but happy with the experience. My child thoroughly enjoys going to Sunshine Community Nursery, always comes home having had a great time and has formed many great relationships with the staff. They are all so caring and truly love the kids and make sure they are all encouraged and cared.

All staff have been very kind and have helped my daughter settle into nursery. The daily feed backs are great. It is always nice to see what she has been doing during the day on the app. There is good communication between home and nursery, both written and verbal feedback being very useful. An outstanding nursery, providing brilliant care on virtually a one to one basis. My daughter is positively thriving here and being extended in her learning where the staff see her ability to do so. I would recommend this nursery to anyone reluctant to leave their child, outgoing or anxious children or anyone seeking the best education and care for their child. Thank you to all the girls in the red and blue room for looking after my daughter so well. Excellent nursery, my daughter is extremely happy. My daughter enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. We have no concerns and would recommend Sunshine Community Nursery without hesitation.

My son has attended the Sunshine Community Nursery since September 2020 and has come a long way since starting. The staff and management are a credit to the nursery. They are friendly, supportive and always willing to help. The learning environment is excellent both indoor and outdoor with a wide range of facilities for the children. It has been a difficult year with the pandemic but the staff have made it easy for parents and carers, always maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety measures. Well done and thank you. I would highly recommend Sunshine Community Nursery to any parent.

Best nursery in Harehills! My daughter loved attending sunshine, she settled in straight away and would always look forward to going nursery. I was so unsure at first as she is my first born but the staff were so supportive and friendly and made me feel at ease. The nursery itself is well maintained and always clean. Management are really friendly and always around to help. Its a shame she had to leave for school!

I love this nursery! The staff are brilliant, always so warm and friendly and do what is best for my child. My child has learnt so much and this is a credit to Sunshine Community Nursery. I know my child is safe, happy and well cared for!

This is a lovely nursery. All staff and management are very friendly and approachable. I have never had an issue with anything in the setting; my niece is always happy to come and has lots of tales of all the fun things she has been doing whilst in the setting.

My son loved this nursery! He really enjoyed playing the rugby they had there, and he was always coming home with pictures and a card he had made. I had pictures and notes on my app, so I could see what he was doing at nursery. The staff were more than welcoming! They helped me toilet train my son and was always so polite and friendly. Any questions or concerns I had was dealt with quickly, and the manager always called to see if I was satisfied with any feedback given. Definitely recommend.

My child started attending Sunshine in January 2021. The nursery went above and beyond all expectations and completely put me at ease. I was very impressed with all the thorough regimes that had been put in place due to Covid. The nursery is incredibly clean, and everything finished off to the highest of standards. My child had four settling in visits which all went really well; the ladies that work at Sunshine are amazing, they filled me with confidence and built instant relationships with my child. I couldn't believe how quickly my child settled. Sunshine has an online system that is brilliant for communicating with parents, especially new parents like me. I received regular updates, photos and already knew all about my child's day by the time I collected. The nursery is also very thorough at hand over. My child loves all the exciting activities the staff provide; they are so creative! I honestly believe my child is in the best possible care. I couldn't be happier with Sunshine!

My niece has been attending this nursery and enjoys every moment! Once she steps through the gates, her face is full of joy! That is pure to the dedicated staff, which puts a shine on her face every day! The staff at Sunshine is full of care and positivity! Very welcoming on pick-up and drop-off. Giving in detail how her day has been. Also, the app makes me much more at ease knowing every step she is doing, such as what she has ate, what time she slept. The learning environment is very excellent, providing a range of facilities indoors and out. I have noticed she also enjoys the meals at nursery, which I have also seen is very nutritious and healthy.

Don't have to worry at all! Also, it's been a hard year with this pandemic! Staff have made it easy for parents and carers always ensuring hygiene measures are in place with their full PPE and social distancing, especially at gates.
