Raise to Shine Childcare

My son loves going to nursery, there. I like that his key person meets him at the door and helps him settle in, gently taking him deeper into the classroom. I love that the kids bring a new book home each week to read together. And their meals always sound delicious.

The staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable about the curriculum and child development needs. They have also been very accommodating and flexible depending on the child’s needs. We also really appreciate the interest they take in parents and the child’s family and are happy to offer support if needed.

My child is currently settling into the nursery having moved from another setting. For a toddler (and me) such a change is very unsettling but I can honestly say the staff here have been absolutely brilliant! The staff are so focused on the happiness and welfare of the children and they are lovely to talk to - nothing is too much and they really put me at ease. The nursery is very clean, well lit and has lots of different toys to keep the children occupied together with the engaging planned activities. The onsite chef is amazing, making fresh and nutritious food for the kids (yes I have tried it!). The owner/proprietor is exceptional - her vision to create a homely, friendly and child focused environment really feeds down to the staff and really benefit the children - the intention of keeping room intake small is a reflection of this. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to any parent.

My granddaughter has been attending this nursery for nearly a year now and I can not rate this nursery higher, the staff and management are amazing working tirelessly with the children all parents are informed and the staff works with the families, a real home from home, well done and a massive thank you

My son has recently started in the baby room at Raise to Shine Childcare and has settled in really well. Staff are all lovely and hard working, the manager has lots of time for parents and goes above and beyond to make parents feel settled too. The nursery feels very family orientated. Food is very nutritious and cooked fresh by a Chef on site.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering to bring their child(ren) here. Myself and my partner are very pleased with how well both our children have settled in. Both our children are so happy here. The staff are friendly and the communication between us parents and the staff/management has been excellent.

Staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. Really helped with the preparation for starting school for my grandson. We felt well supported by the staff, and the nursery was always spotlessly clean and well-organised.

Raise to shine is an approachable and loving nursery, the fact that they keep the number of children in the room small ensures that each child gets the attention that they need. The staff care about each child and the activities arranged daily allow each child to participate and capture their attention. The toys in the room are of a good range allowing the inquisitive nature of the child to be explored.

The owner again has the best interest of the child and will work with you towards your goals. She has met regularly with me to discuss what we would like to work on with our little one and how we can work together to attain them. The communication between the staff is great as well.

I would recommend the nursery to fellow friends and colleagues as a loving small nursery who will genuinely care for your child. The facilities are clean and the food options are great and tasty (vegetarian), they also allow activities for the family to partake in.

My son really loves all staff, he is well looked after by all staff. They're all so friendly and kind. I feel safe while I’m at work and he is getting well looked after. Brilliant staff and nursey. I would recommend to other moms to leave there kids in such good hands.

My daughter has been attending now for around 3 months and I have been so impressed with the service. Staff have worked incredibly hard to help her to settle, she has really come out of her shell and really enjoys the facilities and activities. I love that the class sizes are small as there is more teacher-student care and interaction. The menu is varied, healthy, tasty and most importantly made fresh on site. The owner is incredibly friendly and approachable and takes the time to get to know each child and parent, and this attention and care towards you is felt from all the staff, especially the manager. Would definitely recommend!

My two sons started at Raise to Shine Childcare in September 2021 and it has been the best decision I have made for the boys. The staff are so supportive and caring towards the children. They have helped me so much with the development of my boys and show so much interest in their well-being. The nursery itself is so clean and well laid out. The boys get to enjoy so many different activities during the day and the best thing is I am kept updated throughout the day too via their app. I would definitely recommend, a brilliant nursery and amazing staff.

I am so glad I picked raise to shine for my son, I have no doubt once he is fully settled he will love going to nursery every time!

My child has done his week of settling in and the staff have been so friendly, warm and welcoming. My son feels at ease when I hand him over and has been having a really fun time. He giggles and smiles while he is there, which is really comforting to know and see as a parent. The staff have taken on board his needs and have been very supportive. Feedback during the day via the app and verbal at the end of the day has been excellent.

Our daughter has been attending Raise to Shine since October 2021 when we moved into the area. The staff are all so caring and attentive and are more than just teachers/ care givers. They really look after the children. Their facilities are top class allowing children to learn and develop.

Our daughter loves it and has learned so much and progressed so unbelievably well while being at Raise to Shine.

After returning to work after an 8-year career break I was very anxious about sending my youngest to nursery. I was worried for nothing! Raise to Shine were warm and welcoming from the very onset! The facilities are fabulous but the staff are the true stars! My daughter had some settling issues but that was because it was all a new experience for her, Raise to Shine have been fantastic and helpful. I know my daughter is going to love her time here! My son has been attending Raise To Shine Childcare since January 2021. He settled in well and loves going to nursery. All the staff are very helpful and he enjoys being there and has made many friends. The owner is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her. My son adores her and he even wants to go to nursery on his days off.

My son started attending Raise to Shine in January 2021 at 11 months of age. As a first time parent, both my husband and I were worried about leaving our child however the incredible staff made the transition extremely easy. Since my son has been attending this nursery I have first hand seen a huge difference in his overall development. I am so pleased with the enormous progress he has made already - I cannot thank the staff for all their hard work! We are so pleased with the service, provision and overall support we have received from RTSC and are so excited to continue on this amazing journey with our son with this provider.

We are very happy with the nursery. My son has started when he was eighteen months old and looking forward to going to the nursery every morning. The best thing is the pure veg plant-based food, which gives him a variety of choice. The staff is very supportive and helpful. The outside space with the garden is a great place for kids to enjoy.
