Kids Planet Shrewsbury

It was not always great due to the management changes and communication issues. When my child was eligible for 30 hours free, it was challenging to speak to someone about the arrangements and plan what would suit us and our family. I nearly gave up and took my son out of the nursery as it was so stressful and the invoices were coming incorrectly calculated. Also, I still have not received any response for the speech and language therapists that I requested over a year ago. However, I would like to acknowledge that my child enjoys attending the nursery. I appreciate the opportunities given to make friends. The activities offered appear to be adequate for supporting the kid's skills development.

I could not be happier that I found Kids Planet, my son loves going there and it's so nice to see the amazing staff make such a fuss of him when I drop him off. I can see he has formed such fantastic relationships with them and it's comforting for me to see that they've learned his likes/dislikes and have taken the time to get to know him. The activities they provide are so inventive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Since my daughter has been attending this nursery, she has come on leaps and bounds with her talking, communication, and connecting with other children. She comes home and sings nursery songs and shows all the moves to join with the song. The nursery teachers are a great asset to the nursery and are all very welcoming and kind. I know my daughter is very well taken care of and I am kept updated throughout the day with a very handy app for parents to be able to know what their child does daily.

All the staff have really got to know my child. Although turnover has been high at times, the nursery has done their best to keep us informed and ensure transitions happen as well as they can. L has attended the setting for almost 2 years now and he loves going in. Questions are dealt with promptly and professionally.

Great fresh meals too! Always being told he's having second helpings when wanted which is nice for growing babies.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since March 2022 and already I’ve noticed her speech has come on massively. She’s far more sociable and loves interacting with people and other children. She settled in straight away and loves all the staff. Her key worker is amazing and my daughter absolutely adores her. If she ever has a bump or little accident they let me know straight away and fill out an accident form. They update the app throughout the day so I know exactly what she’s eaten and how much, how long she’s slept and show photos of what she’s been getting up to. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. All the staff are amazing and so so lovely.

Our daughter really enjoys her time at Kids Planet. Her personal and social development has come on leaps and bounds since joining. She is well cared for and feels safe and happy. The variety of learning activities is excellent. The nursery is really well maintained and all the staff are friendly, professional and approachable.

Our little one's key worker is dedicated to the children in her care as are every one of the team I have met in the tot's room. They show kindness and understanding to all the little ones and the app updates parents hour by hour of the children's progress every day from meals to play and sleep. Exceptional.

I cannot fault anything or anyone at Shrewsbury Kids Planet. Every single member of staff always has a smile on their face, always willing to listen to you about your child and what they need etc. My daughter runs into nursery every session that she has .

I would highly recommend Kids Planet to anyone looking for a nursery and I feel extremely lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my daughter.

My 2-year-old boy was a lockdown baby and is always with me his mum. When he first started at the nursery he was upset and unsure due to this being new for him. I myself also found it hard to leave him, the staff were, and still are, so supportive and did not make me feel silly for all the calls to check on him. The staff always have a smile and the atmosphere you feel when you are in the nursery is lovely. All staff are helpful and the care they have is seen, they are patient and that's so important. I love the activities my son gets involved in and since he has been going he has become confident and has come out of his shell and his personality is shining through.
