First Friends Day Nursery - Wootey

My experience from First Friends Day Nursery - Wootey has been amazing. My child has come on leaps and bounds since attending, and they are so supportive to me and my family. And I will recommend first friends to other members of the public. It’s not just First Friends it’s forever friends.

Honestly couldn't recommend the nursery enough, if you're not sure then you will be after a tour. It's such a great nursery and I can't put into words how great it's been for our daughter.

Our daughter loves it and has come on massively since starting! She has loved making new friends and fond memories, she’s so happy there. Would recommend time and time again.

Our Son started at First Friends in Alton in September 2023 and settled very quickly. He has created bonds with a number of the team and happily walks in each day. The outdoor space, which is usable in any weather, is a great asset and at pickup, we often see our son outside still playing. Communication is good and the team are happy to listen to your requests to focus on a particular area. We love the 'curiosity cases' and try to do the same at home. We are pleased we made the decision to send him to First Friends.

Really lovely nursery, the growth in my son since joining has been incredible! All the staff are hard-working, friendly and devoted. We are so happy we chose this nursery and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking!

My son loves going to First Friends Day Nursery when he first started he did not speak English and he learned it with in a few weeks time all the staff is kind with my son and he has the best day in nursery, loves going to nursery and has fun with all his friends.

Great staff who really care about the kids and keep the parents updated with how they’re getting on. Loads of healthy foods are provided across the day. Massive support with toilet training too!

Great nursery with a kind caring team. My three year old skips into First Friends without a backward glance and thoroughly enjoys his time there. He often brings back reams of craft he has worked on throughout the week. He spends lots of time in the garden and particularly enjoys the mud kitchen and the balance bikes. Our eldest is at the school next door which makes it a very convenient location for us. The manager has organised events including parent's evening, Halloween and an upcoming children in need event which my child is looking forward to. My child is very happy at the nursery and has been encouraged to make some lovely friends.

My son has attended First Friends for just over a year now. Staff are approachable, extremely helpful and friendly. My son's development has really come on, and I genuinely believe it is partly down to his time spent at nursery. He is always happy to go in and is provided with activities to learn and have fun throughout the day. I have felt as a parent that I am listened to, and the staff work with parents on routines and naps if needed.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to First Friends. She runs in without looking back and I know she's going to have the best day. The variety of food and snacks are great. At the end of each day, I get an update of what she has been doing and how much she has eaten. The staff are all so lovely and have a great connection with the children. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

All the staff are just incredible and have made my little girl so so happy and they have got rid of her separation anxiety completely! I couldn't fault this nursery at all. All so caring and do a proper handover am and pm which is rare to find! Just amazing.

My child attended nursery elsewhere prior to First Friends and I was adamant nothing would top this. His first few months at First Friends met my standards which were already very high. However, as he attended this nursery more and more I noticed that this was by far the best I had seen (and I have seen most in the area). The staff know him in some ways better than I do. His behaviour has improved by miles, he is such a sociable and friendly character and he is developing far beyond his age group which the staff never fail to praise him for. He is so happy to go to nursery which only proves how well they are looked after. Every week he comes home with paintings/ food they made/ stories about his day. I'm not an easy parent to please with friends and family members having worked in the industry themselves, but we are all stunned by how professional but personal First Friends is. I cannot praise the staff enough for how happy they make him and how much they clearly do for the children.

We love First Friends Alton nursery. Our son has been attending for 6 months and it's honestly made returning to work so easy - he loves it there. He enjoys the food and all the activities, especially the forest school. The staff are lovely and it has a real family friendly feel whilst also keeping us very well informed with regular updates about his day and things coming up. Keep up the great work!

Very welcoming setting and staff. My daughter always comes home telling me about the exciting things she has been up to and who she has played with. She took a little while to settle being very anxious leaving the house but the nursery manager and the team came up with new ideas to help her settle and make sure myself and my daughter were happy each time. It wasn't long before she had smiles on her face every day and was happy to go in. Can't thank the team enough for making sure she is thriving and happy.

Such a lovely nursery, the staff are friendly and warm. My little boy loves attending and doing the activities they have on offer. The communication is brilliant and they really understand the needs of the children.

My daughter has her favourite member of staff but all of them are lovely and my daughter is very happy there. Because the nursery is located on the school site, the nursery children get to use the school grounds and join in with school activities, which I hope will make the transition to school easier when the time comes. My daughter tells me she wants to go to nursery every day!

My son has attended First Friends nursery for approximately one year and loves everyone, one in particular. My son always comes out of nursery happy and with bits he has made. I'm provided with a book of what he's done throughout the day including food and toileting. I would fully recommend First Friends Alton for their kind, and thoughtful approach to childcare.

I highly recommend First Friends Day Nursery in Alton. My son has been there since age two and he has been nurtured and encouraged from day one. It is a small caring setting with lovely staff and an excellent variety of cold and hot foods. There are two outside areas - one for each of the age groups, with a range of fun play equipment. Although he was nervous at first, my son loves his time at First Friends. The session times are flexible and the staff are able to accommodate changes to our routine bookings.

First Friends is the most welcoming and warmest nursery I have seen. My son initially attended another setting beforehand and struggled with interacting with other children and controlling his behaviour and outbursts! Since sending him to first friends he has become a different child entirely! He is always so excited to go and enjoys his time there more than I've ever seen previously! The manager and staff are amazing with him and helping him with his struggles I couldn't be more grateful to them for this! I would highly recommend this nursery as they are amazing with the children and have never seen my son's face light up the way it does now. They have changed everything for us and couldn't be happier.

Amazing staff really caring, the manager is an excellent, very helpful person, listens to all your needs and my daughter's keyworker is a very very caring person. My daughter always talks about her, my daughter's best friend. Overall I feel my daughter is in safe hands Amazing place.
