Puffin's Day Nursery and Preschool Windlesham is based on Chertsey Road and caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Located within easy access of the M3 and M25, the local benefits include a wooded area, park and recreational ground. These are within easy access to the setting, allowing the children to venture on walks to explore the local area.

The nursery provides care for two separates ages, its Baby room caring for children aged 0-2 years and its Preschool, which cares for children aged 2 - 5 years.

They offer full day sessions (8am-6pm) or half day sessions (8am-12.30pm or 1.15pm-5.45pm). They also offer an early drop off, from 7.30am and late pick up, 6pm-6.30pm for a small additional fee.

The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, closing on all bank holidays and from the 24th December until 2nd January.

At Puffins, they pride themselves in building strong relationships with children and their families to support the transition into nursery life. They believe communication is a vital part of the nursery experience as they commit to working closely with parents and carers to provide outstanding care for children.

The extraordinary team is carefully chosen to reflect the same visions and values they share at Puffins.

They regularly offer additional training to extend their knowledge and expertise in certain areas and use their own bank team to cover annual leave and staff sickness.

They regularly reflect on their practice using data and guidance to promote best practice.

I couldn’t recommend Puffins enough. All the staff are professional and friendly and really make an enormous effort in building strong and nurturing relationships with the children. The setting is both bright and inviting with a real home from home feel. As a family, we couldn’t be happier with our

I highly recommend Puffin's Windlesham Nursery. My daughter has settled in so well and loves going to nursery. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and I always feel confident about leaving her. They provide a great range of activities and lovely fresh meals.

Puffin's really is fantastic. My little boy was shy at the start but very quickly settled because the staff worked so hard to help him love his time in the nursery. They have really well thought out play stations with ever-changing activities to keep the children occupied. They take them on regular
walks to get outside in nature and the chef cooks them a lovely meal every day. My little boy is happily playing every time I come in to pick him up and that is testament to how well the nursery does, we highly recommend Puffin's.

Sending our daughter to Puffin’s, Windlesham was the best decision we made. She is constantly stimulated through excellent activities organised, the food looks delicious and we are always greeted by a happy content baby when we collect her. I could not recommend them enough.

All the staff are extremely friendly and professional.
The children seem to really love going here and we are very happy with the care our daughter has recieved. She literally can't wait to get there and play. She enjoys the morning/afternoon walks and sand pits.

I would highly recommend Puffin's Pre-School. The staff are all absolutely lovely and the location is wonderful as they can easily walk the children up the lane to the local park/woodlands which I know they do most days. My daughter has settled in so well and loves going to nursery, she has always been
a difficult sleeper but thanks to the amazing staff she now actually sleeps really well at nursery! I think she probably also eats better than she does at home as the meals are freshly made on site and are varied and healthy. The building has been newly renovated to a high standard and is clean, fresh and full of light. I’m so pleased that Puffin's has come to Windlesham as it’s a lovely place for my daughter to discover, explore and grow.

I have 5 children and this is by far the best nursery I have sent one of my children to. All the staff are so welcoming and kind and my son loves and looks forward to attending nursery, he has progressed so much. I'm so thankful to Puffin's.

Puffin's Windlesham is a welcoming, caring and homely environment that looks after my 1-year-old and 3-year-old. I could not be happier with the care they both receive! All the teachers are so friendly and welcoming and they know each child so well. The environment is beautiful, open and full of amazing
resources to inspire curiosity. It has a real family feel to it!
Although they are still awaiting planning permission for the garden, they make use of all the natural space around them in the village and take both rooms out daily to ensure they are getting sufficient fresh air.

I have worked in Early Years for over 15 years, beginning my career as an Apprentice and progressing to my current role as Nursery Director. I have been with the company since it first opened in 2018 and played a key role in preparing the setting for opening, as well as welcoming our team and families into the Puffins family.


It has been a joy to be part of the nursery’s growth and to continue working alongside the wonderful team we have built together. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children, families, and staff can thrive.


Outside of Puffins, I am a mummy to two lovely little girls, and I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
