Puffin's Pre-School & Day Nursery - Windlesham

I have worked in Early Years for over 15 years, beginning my career as an Apprentice and progressing to my current role as Nursery Director. I have been with the company since it first opened in 2018 and played a key role in preparing the setting for opening, as well as welcoming our team and families into the Puffins family.

It has been a joy to be part of the nursery’s growth and to continue working alongside the wonderful team we have built together. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children, families, and staff can thrive.

Outside of Puffins, I am a mummy to two lovely little girls, and I enjoy spending quality time with my family.

I have 13+ years of experience working with children and young people from being based in a nursery setting, where I became qualified and progressed to management level, to creating my own childminding business. I also have my own daughter who loved her Puffins journey. I joined Puffins in Oct 2022 as a deputy and am now the Manager. I really enjoy getting to know the children and parents and being able to make a positive difference within the setting. I look forward to continuing with this and welcoming new families to Puffins!

I have worked in childcare for 14 years and have loved growing and developing throughout my career, from starting as a Practitioner to becoming Room Leader, Third in Charge, and now Deputy Manager at Puffins Preschool and Day Nursery.

I am also a mum to two children, one of whom will be spending time here at Puffins, which makes this role even more special to me. I really enjoy planning fun, creative activities and watching the children learn, grow, and gain confidence. Supporting children to feel happy, safe, and excited to explore is what I love most about working in early years.

Hello, my name is Natalie, and I am a senior in the Baby Room. I have been working in Childcare for over 10 years, with experience as a Nanny and working in different Nursery settings. I am really looking forward to getting stuck into creating activities for the children to explore! And working with the team here at Puffins.

I have been working in Childcare for 12 years and have previous experience working as a Baby room and Preschool room leader, and Third in charge, and I have been a private Nanny for the last 4 years.

I am excited to be working at Puffins and being back in a Nursery setting and getting to know all the children. I love being able to support children in their learning and development, and love being back as part of a team.

Hello! I am Becks, and I have 12 years of experience working with children. I have had the pleasure of working within a wide range of settings, including a variety of nurseries, special needs schools and a Forest School! I have progressed my career through a range of roles from Practitioner to Room Leader and up to Deputy Manager. I have two children of my own, Ollie and Ivy. I enjoy getting involved in children's play, extending their learning and experiences through enjoyable and meaningful interactions. I look forward to meeting all the new additions to our Puffins family!

I am Olivia, and I enjoy going on long walks, working out, drawing and watching the F1. I wanted to work at Puffins because it looked like such a lovely, friendly environment for me to begin my career in Childcare. I have just started my Level 2 Early Years Educator course, which I am so excited to get stuck into!

Hi, I am Alice and I have worked in childcare for over 8 years now. I have a little boy called Finn and we love exploring around the countryside. I really enjoy working with children, seeing them grow and develop and more of all having fun! I cannot wait to meet all of you.

I am level 3 qualified. I absolutely love seeing and being part of children's development. I enjoy getting messy and using a range of resources to make activities exciting and fun! I have been at Puffins since 2019, recently I have taken on a Private Nannying role so I will be doing that alongside my new role here at Puffins as SENDco support.

I am really excited to join and work with all the amazing children at Puffins. With previous experience as a nanny for a couple of years, I'm really looking forward to starting my childcare course and kick-starting my career in childcare. I love arts and crafts and can't wait to make some beautiful creations with the children!

My name is Tom and I have been a practitioner for over 20 years in different areas of education including nursery, schools, and being an assessor. I have enjoyed developing the children's prime areas in readiness for school. I have two children called Florrie and Albie and I enjoy going to watch Brentford FC. I am looking forward to starting my puffins journey.

With 16 years of experience in the catering trade and a background in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Sari brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her dedication to providing the best food possible has already been appreciated by our little charges! In her free time, she is passionate about creating alternative remedies and practising Reiki. Sari expresses her creativity through her food, painting, and gardening. Sari has a special place in her heart for rescue dogs and currently shares her home with Nemo, a 10-year-old Jack Russell/Corgi mix along with 2 of her 3 children. Sari also has a green thumb and dedicates time to cultivating her garden. Originally from across the pond in America, she's called the UK home for an impressive 26 years!

I trained as a level 3 nursery nurse at college and have worked in a variety of different childcare settings. I have been an SEN 1-1 with primary school-aged children, a teaching assistant, sure start centre assistant, a Montessori setting, and other private nurseries for around 5 years. I did a lot of volunteering with the guiding association as a teenager, and my first job was with a stage school as a teaching assistant. I took a break from working with children for a couple of years, but decided to return after having a little one of my own. My little one is in the baby room and is enjoying being at Puffins as much as I am.

I have worked in childcare for 13 years. I began my childcare journey in a nursery where I gained my qualifications. I then became a private nanny for 4 lovely families until I had my son Noah in December. I have loved having some time off with him spending quality time together, but am now looking forward to both our new journeys here at puffins.
