Puffin's Day Nursery and Preschool Windlesham is based on Chertsey Road and caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Located within easy access of the M3 and M25, the local benefits include a wooded area, park and recreational ground. These are within easy access to the setting, allowing the children to venture on walks to explore the local area.

The nursery provides care for two separates ages, its Baby room caring for children aged 0-2 years and its Preschool, which cares for children aged 2 - 5 years.

They offer full day sessions (8am-6pm) or half day sessions (8am-12.30pm or 1.15pm-5.45pm). They also offer an early drop off, from 7.30am and late pick up, 6pm-6.30pm for a small additional fee.

The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, closing on all bank holidays and from the 24th December until 2nd January.

At Puffins, they pride themselves in building strong relationships with children and their families to support the transition into nursery life. They believe communication is a vital part of the nursery experience as they commit to working closely with parents and carers to provide outstanding care for children.

The extraordinary team is carefully chosen to reflect the same visions and values they share at Puffins.

They regularly offer additional training to extend their knowledge and expertise in certain areas and use their own bank team to cover annual leave and staff sickness.

They regularly reflect on their practice using data and guidance to promote best practice.

Puffins celebrates each individual child's uniqueness by offering a place in which they are provided with unique opportunities to succeed within their early years experiences.

Windlesham opened in September 2020 and is rapidly growing in popularity.

A wonderful nursery and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. My daughter started in September when she was 16 months old and she's not had any issues with me leaving her. She loves attending and I know she is in safe hands, and having a great time. The setting is clean and bright and there
are always different activities going on. She also loves the food served there and often has a second helping.

Our little boy has absolutely loved joining Puffins. At first, he was a little nervous but the wonderful team are just so kind and friendly that he settled in so well. We couldn't be happier with sending our little chap to them, we know he is always having such a lovely time and is well looked after.
Any minor bump or scrape is recorded and we are delighted to see pictures and reports every day of how he is getting on and what he has done that day. We love Puffins and are so pleased we made the choice for our son to attend this nursery. Thanks to all the team, we want you to know the job you do is so very important to us. You are helping to raise a very funny, independent, charming and cheeky little boy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My two children (aged 1 and 3) attend Puffins Pre-School & Day Nursery. The staff are wonderful despite some recent turnover. My three-year-old speaks highly of all her teachers and has learned a great deal. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My daughter started at Puffins in October and loves her time there. Despite being one of the youngest, she is included in all activities and has gained both confidence and skills from interactions with older babies. The staff (especially her key worker) are always happy to answer any questions you have
and really know my daughter on a personal level. I feel confident that my daughter is safe and happy when I drop her at nursery.

My daughter moved to Puffin's in January and the staff was super friendly, they made her transition very smooth. It’s a bright, clean, modern setting with lots of choices of different daily activities and they always have at least one daily outing. Her key worker really focuses on mental well-being
which we value. Our daughter is really happy here.

Puffin's has been an amazing setting for our son. He started in the baby room at 18 months old and is now in the Pre-school room. The team are wonderful, they've worked with our son to get him settled and comfortable in the new environment (in both rooms) and now he loves going into pre-school. He has
learnt so much since being at Puffin's, we continue to be amazed when he comes home and shows off his new skills/thing he's learned. Any queries or questions we've had in the past have always been answered quickly, the team always answer the phone if we ever want to check in to see how he is and the updates on the days he is in are great. We are really pleased we found Puffin's.

Puffin's is an outstanding nursery - from the beautiful setting, the caring and highly professional staff, through to the quality of the food, activities and engagement with parents, it is all top-notch. The owner and manager are such lovely people and their dedication and care for the children are
shared by all of the staff. Our child always has a wonderful time, and if she is ever upset, she quickly settles and feels safe thanks to her brilliantly supportive teachers. It is such a privilege to be able to drop her off knowing that she will have a fun-filled day with walks outdoors no matter the weather and with people who genuinely care for her welfare and development. Love the team at Puffin's. And more importantly, so does the little one. He looks forward to going in, eats well, sleeps well, and seems to experience play-time with a sense of adventure, fun and learning.
Little one loves being outside and although the nursery has no real outside space on-site, the
kiddo loves his walks down to the park areas.
Very happy with our choice of nursery.

Puffin's is just the absolute best. Every single member of staff is wonderful with both of my children. They clearly genuinely care about them and their development. My children have experienced the baby room and the preschool room and both are fantastic.

The Puffin's team have always been fantastic, if my daughter is having one of those 'I don't want to go' days, they're always supportive and make sure she's settled in for the day and is always excited about the day. We’ve been so impressed with Puffin’s. Every single staff member has been friendly, personable and professional and I know my son is in safe hands when he’s there. Despite a rocky start with lots of tears and separation anxiety, the whole team put my son and us at ease with their caring and upbeat nature
and for that, I’m extremely grateful.


I also love the app that keeps us up to date on how much he’s eaten etc throughout the day and also the weekly email updates so we can see the activities he’s been doing. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Puffin’s.

The most wonderful nursery! My little boy has been settling at nursery and is having the best time! The staff are for me the best part of our experience - friendly, caring and happy. They have gone above and beyond for us. I chose Puffin’s for him over 5 other nurseries I had seen locally as the moment
we walked in I knew it was the right setting for him - well ran, incredibly clean, organised and the most lovely staff. I am so happy that he is so well cared for during his time at nursery.

My son loves going to Puffin's. The staff are really loving and caring towards the children and they encourage learning through a variety of mediums. What I love most though is they take the children out every day on a walk to the park/woods to explore and learn about nature. I get updates throughout

My daughter was a lockdown baby so was finding it extremely hard to socially interact with adults and children. As soon as we went for a visit to Puffins, we were warmly welcomed and I got a sense straight away that this is where I wanted my daughter to be!
It took my daughter a long time to settle
into nursery life but without the amazing staff who were and still are caring and compassionate I feel she'd never of settled, she now enjoys nursery life and is blossoming. All members of staff from the rooms up to the owner are always so welcoming and accommodating and I'm delighted I chose to send my daughter to Puffins!

I can highly recommend Puffins Pre-School & Day Nursery. My daughter started there in February 2021 and although she was nervous about joining a new setting, she settled in so quickly. They have such a variety of activities every single day and these change from week to week. I love the different themes
that run across the entire week that incorporate indoor activities, outdoor activities and cooking. It feels like they are giving them experiences to enhance their learning but it's all done in a fun playing environment. The staff are so caring and supportive and have been excellent at communicating with us on our child's development and in times of illness. My daughter loves going there and talks so positively about all of the staff. I'm so glad we found Puffins.

My daughter enjoys her time at Puffins very much. She is a determined, strong-willed 3 year old and my wife and I had concerns at how long would she take to settle in and adapt. The staff have been fundamental in helping her transition into Puffins. Their care and support and the environment at the

After working in Childcare for 12 years, it was time to take on my own adventure! The idea of Puffin’s was born a few years ago, and finally, in 2018, the dream came true. My journey started in a Nursery where I started as an Assistant Practitioner. In my time at this Nursery, I gained my qualifications and two promotions, leading me to Head of Room. From there I moved on to another Nursery where after starting as a Head of Room I worked my way up to the Management Team. My most recent role was as a Private Nanny for two lovely families, who I am still in contact with now.


I am First Aid trained and am the setting Designated Safeguarding Lead, alongside Eleanor.

I have been working in Childcare for 12 years and have previous experience working as a Baby room and Preschool room leader, and Third in charge, and I have been a private Nanny for the last 4 years.


I am excited to be working at Puffins and being back in a Nursery setting and getting to know all the children. I love being able to support children in their learning and development and love being back as part of a team.

Hello! I am Becks and I have 12 years of experience working with children. I have had the pleasure of working within a wide range of settings including a variety of nurseries, special needs schools and a Forest School! I have progressed my career through a range of roles from Practitioner, to Room Leader and up to Deputy Manager. I have two children of my own, Ollie and Ivy. I enjoy getting involved in children's play, extending their learning and experiences through enjoyable and meaningful interactions. I look forward to meeting all the new additions to our Puffins family!

After a career change seven years ago, I joined a nursery and in the time I was there I gained my level 3 diploma in childcare. Soon after, I had my daughter and then began to nanny which I have continued to do ever since.


I now have a son as well who will be coming along with me to Puffins and although I have taken a step back from full-time childcare, it is still a huge passion of mine and I am looking forward to being in that environment again and seeing all your littles ones thrive!

With 16 years of experience in the catering trade and a background in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Sari brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her dedication to providing the best food possible has already been appreciated by our little charges! In her free time, she is passionate about creating alternative remedies and practising Reiki. Sari expresses her creativity through her food, painting, and gardening. Sari has a special place in her heart for rescue dogs and currently shares her home with Nemo, a 10-year-old Jack Russell/Corgi mix along with 2 of her 3 children. Sari also has a green thumb and dedicates time to cultivating her garden. Originally from across the pond in America, she's called the UK home for an impressive 26 years!

I trained as a level 3 nursery nurse from college and have worked in a variety of different childcare settings. I have been an SEN 1-1 with primary school-aged children, teaching assistant, sure start centre assistant, Montessori setting, and other private nurseries for around 5 years. I did a lot of volunteering with the guiding association as a teenager and my first job was with a stage school as a teaching assistant. I took a break from working with children for a couple of years but decided to return after having a little one of my own. My little one is in the baby room and is enjoying being at Puffins as much as I am.
