Hi I’m Beth, I am the Deputy Manager for Loughton and a mum of an adventurous little boy!

I have always loved childcare and my absolute passion is to help children to achieve their milestones! I find it so rewarding when a child has learnt something new, from their first steps to becoming independent and ready for school. In April 2021 I joined Monkey Puzzle and have enjoyed watching the nursery grow.

I have been working in Early Years since 2001, progressing from an Unqualified Practitioner up to my current position. I chose this career because I found out at a young age that I couldn't have children myself, however, I had the love to give, so thought this would be the perfect job. Every day is different when working in a nursery, I love teaching the children new things.

I joined Monkey Puzzle Loughton because, when I came to look around, all the team members and children were happy. The team got on well with each other, the manager was friendly and the whole nursery had a family feel!

I have been working in Early Years since 2012, progressing from Bank Staff, up to my current position. I chose this career because I love progressing children, helping them shape their futures and supporting each child as an individual. Every day is completely different.

I have now been working in Early Years for 14+ years! I chose this career path because I wanted to make a true difference in children's lives. I love seeing them progress and learn new skills.

I would say that I chose to join Monkey Puzzle Loughton, however I feel as though it truly chose me! Since joining, Monkey Puzzle has given me the opportunity to progress.

I have been working in Early Years since I was 16. During those years, I have worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, Senior and Third in Charge. I love watching the children enjoy the activities and reach the intention behind them.

I have been working in Early Years since 2014. Throughout my journey, I have progressed from Bank Staff to Nursery Practitioner and now Senior Nursery Practitioner. I chose this career because I always enjoyed playing 'teachers' with my sister when we were younger, and when my little brother was born, I enjoyed helping him with his school work, reading and projects. I enjoy trying out new ways to engage children in learning about the world around them and creating new experiences.

I have been working in Early Years since 2006, progressing from an Apprentice to Nursery Practitioner, also completing a behavioural course. I chose this career because I wanted to give children a fun, loving experience to learn and grow. Giving the children nurture, teaching them patience, and trust and letting them be who they are while being safeguarded is what makes me love it so much. I love watching their growth.

I have been working in Early Years for 7 years. I chose Early Years as a career path because looking after children comes naturally as breathing to me, I have always been told I have the patience of a saint and any child I come into contact with loves me!

I remember my first time at Monkey Puzzle Loughton, being interviewed by Katherine, the Nursery Manager. I knew I wanted to be a part of, not only the company but the team. Since joining Monkey Puzzle, I have learnt so much! We have access to courses to keep up to date with any changes in safeguarding, as well as the policies and procedures.

I love working at Monkey Puzzle Loughton because of the support we child to the children, as well as each other. I love that when I need help, my team is there to support me. I love the fact that we can all learn from each other and our careers.

I have now been working in Early Years for 8 years. I have always been a Nursery Practitioner, however, I am working on progressing further!

I started my career in Early Years because I have always been a soft and gentle giant. I fell in love with the career path and never stopped! I love working in this sector as I have become a positive male role model for children. I love watching them grow and having a fundamental impact on their learning. I take pride in ensuring my children are ready for the next stage of Preschool.

I have been working in Early Years for just under 2 years, starting off in a college placement before becoming an apprentice. I have progressed in my career as I started in preschool, working alongside studying for my Level 2 qualification.

I chose a carer in Early Years because I enjoy working with children and I love being able to help them grow, learn and develop. I love working in a nursery because I really enjoy taking part in all the activities and communicating with the children every day.

I have been working in Early Years, on a placement, since the end of 2024. Since taking up this career, I have become more confident in working in an environment with lots of children.
