Bright Little Stars Barnet

My daughter has been at Bright Little Stars, Barnet since September 2022. Originally we only booked three days a week but she loves it so much I regularly add in extra sessions. The staff are kind and friendly and the nursery is clean and safe. The activities for the children are well thought out and fun, you can tell the amount of time and effort that goes into lesson planning. My daughter has learned so much and I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter started Bright Little Stars Barnet at 6 months old. I was so nervous at first as she was so young. I went to see a lot of nurseries in the area but as soon as I visited Bright Little Stars I knew it was the one. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The care she has received has been amazing, she has learnt so much and become so independent and she eats absolutely everything. Any support / advice you need the staff will always support and guide you. I would recommend Bright Little Stars Barnet to any of my friends and family!

Bright Little Stars, Barnet is a genuinely fantastic nursery and my wife and I could not have been happier in our choice of nursery. My son has attended Bright Little Stars since the nursery opened. The current manager genuinely cares about the nursery and the well-being of both staff and children and it is clear since her arrival, the nursery has gone from strength to strength. We had put our name down for another local nursery before finding out about Bright Little Stars, but what initially attracted us to the nursery was the modern and extensive facilities. Teaching is structured and teaching staff put lots of time and effort into making learning fun. In all the rooms my son has been in, all the teaching staff have been flawless. It is unbelievable how much our son has developed at Bright Little Stars and he genuinely loves going to nursery. Without any hesitation, at all, if we had to do it all again, Bright Little Stars would be our number one choice.

The manager has been very supportive and accommodating. One lady is a superb teacher; she is very approachable, listens to concerns and provides detailed feedback on my daughter's progress. She has made small adaptations to activities to allow my daughter to flourish.

We just love this nursery and our child is so happy. There were a few teething issues when we first started but since the new manager has taken over, the place has gone from strength to strength. Informative webinars are planned so that parents can engage in developing their own knowledge. There are also events so that parents can get to meet each other. We love the events where we can come into class and be involved with our children. Within the class, a range of stimulating activities are planned and the outside clubs are fantastic. We particularly love the yoga classes. The management is approachable and understanding when discussing any issues and they are always resolved fairly. The manager clearly has a passion for what she does, she goes to lengths to make sure that the nursery is always at its best. Our child comes home and talks fondly of the activities and experiences she has had and loves the adults supporting her. Thank you, Bright Light Stars for making our time with you so happy.

My 3-year-old goes to this nursery and now my 9-month-old has just started. They have been amazing at nurturing and building confidence in my 3-year-old, to prep her for school. She's been there for 1.5 years and I've always received regular feedback with how she's progressing. They've also been so great at helping develop her in areas she may require support. I've been so impressed that now my 9-month-old has also started. I'm overwhelmed by how caring the staff have been over her and give you constant feedback, which I value so much. They send you lots of updates and pictures, so you feel like you're not missing out. What a great nursery!

We are very happy with how our son has settled into his new nursery. All the staff are very attentive and caring and we feel he is very well looked after. The manager is great at managing the nursery and we feel it is very, professionally run.

Our son joined when he turned 2 years old, back in May this year. We were so impressed by how well he settled and in the months since, his development and progress has been a joy to see. The staff provide really comprehensive feedback at the end of the day and it is clear that they pay close attention to all his small and big milestones and interactions with other children. A big reason we chose Bright Little Stars was the fact that they have CCTV access if we wanted to log in and see our son throughout the day. However, we feel so reassured and comfortable that we rarely even log in! He really looks forward to being there and the extra-curricular activities. As parents, we've even joined a few optional evening zoom meetings, which provide advice and guidance on things like helping with learning/behavioural development.

My son started at this nursery in November 2020 and now my daughter is there too. The nursery have great facilities, fantastic staff and really wonderful teaching. The children are taught to be independent and the nursery support you in all aspects to push your child onto the next level. They have pool parties in the summer, discos in the party seasons, external companies to provide even more opportunities for learning through play. Both my children rarely want to come home.

This has been a great nursery for my daughter! They have really helped a lot with her speech and language development over the last few months. She is now more confident and able to communicate a lot better. The facilities in her room are great, and she has a lot of fun learning new things every day, and talking about her day-to-day activities with us.

I don't normally leave reviews but I know how helpful they can be when looking for the right setting for your child. My daughter has been at Bright Little Stars since it opened and we have been so happy with the care, the teaching, general ethos, facilities and activities. This is a really incredible nursery. The staff are all absolutely lovely, kind and caring. There are lots of extracurricular activities offered for the kids in the preschool room including forest school, yoga, mindfulness, Spanish...it sets them up amazingly for reception. Everything is delivered in a way that puts the kids having fun at the centre of it. Bright Little Stars is a really lovely setting - I don't know anyone who is less than happy with it!!

Our daughter started here when it opened and has settled in well. She is always engaged, and we have seen good improvement in her development. The facilities are kept well and always greeted with smiles from the staff.

Our daughter is always excited to get through the doors she has developed so much since being here. It is a safe and secure environment and could not recommend enough.

Our daughter started at Bright Little Stars in January 2021 and she absolutely loves it. She has progressed significantly in relation to her learning over these last few months, and most importantly she is happy, engaged and excited to attend. We have been very impressed with all of the staff at the nursery; there is a fantastic level of care, commitment and attention to detail.

It is a state-of-the-art nursery, with so many fun things for babies and toddlers/young children to get involved in. The staff seem very enthusiastic and encourage the children throughout the day. The children seem to enjoy their time there and my daughter seems so confident and smart, which I think is wonderful!

He absolutely loves the nursery and has grown in confidence in such a short space of time. The team are very friendly and supportive of his learning and most notably we have seen a significant improvement in his speech. The facilities are spotless. We highly recommend.

My one and three year old children both go to the nursery and absolutely love it. My one year old was born in lockdown and didn't have much experience with other people but the nursery have been excellent in making her feel comfortable and happy. She is like a different child now. The facilities are excellent, clean and spacious. The menu is great, the kids eat better than I do! The children are constantly supported in their learning and as parents, we get regular feedback on their progression. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery.
