Yüme Wandsworth Nursery & Preschool

Both my children go to Yume, and I am very happy with the nursery and pre-school/reception. So far, my experience with carers has been great! The nursery has great activities - Spanish, French, violin to name a few and lots of other learning activities such as PE, messy play, phonics etc; giving exposure to kids at an early age is good so that they can decide and choose later on what their interest lies in. The management is very closely involved and approachable, which is what is needed as things can easily slip, and some regular checks etc, are always required. I would highly recommend this nursery and preschool as this can give your child the best starting exposure and early years of learning.

Our daughter had a wonderful time at Yume nursery in the baby rooms. She settled in well with the whole team, and they were all very supportive. Each day there were different learning activities that she really enjoyed, and the trips to the park were fab. She always ate well when she was there too, so thank you to the chefs! Thanks for all your support, team Yume!

My son had a fantastic experience in the baby room at Yume. He was always so excited to go and loved all the different activities on offer as well as daily trips to the park. The room had a very homely feel, and having a separate sleep room for naps, was really nice. The food looked lovely with a varied Mediterranean inspired menu and all freshly made on site. The staff are extremely caring and communication with parents was excellent. We were very sad to leave (due to home relocation).

Yume was recommended to me by a close contact of mine as I was looking for a nursery for my child. I found the environment very warm and caring. The settling session was very smooth, and they gave my child enough time to get comfortable with the surrounding. Most importantly, I absolutely love their communication system. As a parent, it is a relief for me to see all the updates of the child throughout the day. The educators are very friendly and honest. My child absolutely loves them. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my child being so happy and safe there!

Our 17-month-old daughter loves being at Yume, which is very important for us. She sends us goodbye kisses in the morning as she rushes in to see what new activities the educators have set up for that day. We enjoy the daily updates and photos that we get and love that healthy, freshly-made food and snacks are offered. Since starting at Yume, we have seen her little personality excel, and she has learned so many new things, even some Spanish words! Yume has gained our trust, and we feel that she is well looked after and loved. We would highly recommend it.

Our daughter started at Yüme in April in the baby room. After her initial, momentary, apprehension of new a space and new faces, it did not take long for her to settle in, feel at home and be incredibly happy there! The warmth of all those working at Yume can be felt from the founders, managers, educators, in fact, every member of the team we have come into contact with. Being kept updated with photos of the activities and play she was getting up to, I knew she was incredibly engaged, well looked after, and felt I was being educated of fun ways to play at home with her too! She has developed wonderful bonds with all her key people and educators since she started and continued when she transitioned to the toddler room. This transition was managed incredibly smoothly by the nursery manager, and we were guided by her recommendation of when this step was best to take place; she was spot on! We love Yüme and could not sing its praises highly enough! Would recommend it to all!

Every morning, I drop off my 22 month old at Yume and barely have a chance to say goodbye before he is running through the doors with a huge smile on his face. All every parent wants is their child to be happy at nursery and every morning this confirms just that. My family and I have been warmly welcomed into the Yume community and one of the main things that appealed to us was the size of the Nursery. Although small, (which makes it all the more endearing) knowing everyone's names and faces reassures me that my son is in good hands. I have only good things to say about Yume and all the people who work so hard every day in making sure my son has a wonderful time.

We chose Yume initially because their facilities and approach to childcare stood out to us. Our toddler attends full-time and always looks forward to going. We have also observed significant development of his confidence, social interactions, appreciation for the outdoors, and personal independence. We really appreciate that the weekly menus are varied, healthy and exciting. His key person observes him closely and frequently suggests ways for us to partner in his continued development with us reinforcing learning from nursery and they build on things we work on at home. The educators are professional, attentive to detail and work with parents to achieve the best outcomes. The bilingual nature of the school (Spanish-English) has also naturally attracted a diverse, international community of families to the nursery, which was also important to us. We're really happy to have our toddler at Yüme and highly recommend everyone at least have a visit. It's a special place.

Yume is the nursery we have been searching far and wide for. They have a great ethos and team. My daughter loves it and now speaks Spanish to us, which we don’t understand. We are super impressed by her start to education.

We are very satisfied with the Yume staff and the programme offered for children in the toddler and pre-school group. We can really see our son developing positively on a personal level, socially and emotionally and he is very excited to be going to the nursery every morning to see his friends and the staff. We would very much recommend the nursery, as it offers a variety of activities, including Forest School, additional languages, sports, etc.

We’ve just finished our first month at Yüme Wandsworth Nursery and Preschool and we love it, both baby and parents. The staff are very friendly, supportive and have made this transition with our eight-month-old, so much easier. The teachers are very creative and are always coming up with fun learning activities for the babies that they seem to really enjoy. We also love that it’s bilingual and that meals are healthy and made in-house by their chef. They don’t have outside space but they take walks in Wandsworth Park nearly everyday. Their facilities are gorgeous, beautifully designed and well-stocked with many brand new toys and books. Overall, two thumbs up and we would highly recommend Yüme Wandsworth Nursery and Preschool to other local parents.

I feel very confident with the Yüme staff and I am happy to see my daughter shows excitement with all the activities indoor and outdoor. Communication has been excellent and you can see how things are going, using their phone app.

Straight away, I noticed my children speaking more Spanish after moving to Yüme bilingual nursery in Wandsworth. They also support the forest school approach and appreciate how important it is for children’s development to spend time outdoors. I have found Yüme to be highly professional with excellent childcare standards. Highly recommended as the perfect place to start your children’s education. Even more importantly, the children love it there too and always have lots of fun.

We love Yüme as our 3-year-old girl is bilingual and we were looking for a bilingual (Spanish and English) nursery for some time. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The staff are lovely and they have gained my girl’s trust quickly. I am sure our girl will enjoy the Forest School approach and all the activities in the park. The communication from management, staff office and family is great and we consider it very important to build a very strong partnership which will benefit our girl's development.

We are so pleased with Yume. The teachers are enthusiastic, attentive and friendly and the school is really well equipped. It makes the most of the neighbouring Wandsworth Park, using the playground area and allowing the children to explore the natural surroundings. The bilingual approach is an important plus too, especially as we are a bilingual family. We are delighted as well with the user-friendly app, which complements the daily oral updates, and shows that our son is genuinely really enjoying himself.

I highly recommend Yume Wandsworth Nursery. Our 19-month-old attends and he just loves it. The staff are all so lovely and care about the needs of our son and what is best for him and us as a family. The settling time took 2 weeks and over that time, we were encouraged to come in and spend time with our son, engage and be present, as he suffered from separation anxiety after a couple of days there but now loves it and is so happy. It was so nice to know that I could really be apart of the settling in process with him. The rooms are big, bright and spacious and have so many amazing brand new toys to explore and play with. The children do activities like water play, role play, painting and lots of arts and crafts. They have a beautiful indoor garden which my son really loves playing in. Yume serve delicious, nutritious meals which my son really enjoys and the staff communicate so well and are always happy and friendly. I really love this Nursery and am really glad that we chose Yume.

Yume Wandsworth Nursery has made what could have been a very tough period in introducing my baby to the nursery, such a wonderful, easy and happy experience. The staff have been fabulous and I couldn’t ask for a better key worker for my baby. Settling in was not only based around the best for our baby but with consideration for the parents too. All done at a pace that works for everyone. The nursery is new, bright and modern with great sensory and educational toys, books, games and cosy corners. The nursery is bilingual, although we are not, I love the idea of introducing other languages at an early age. There is a beautiful indoor garden and music room. And the menus always sound delicious with all meals being gobbled up. I am so happy to have found Yume, I feel totally comfortable with my baby being under their care and it’s so lovely to see him get excited every time we turn up.

My eight month old little one has been the first one in the nursery and we couldn’t be happier. Facilities are brand new and excellent, they are by Wandsworth Park and the kids are almost taken daily. Alternatively, they have an indoors garden for rainy days, the food follows the Mediterranean diet with lots of veggies and fish, the staff are bilingual and languages are promoted as naturally spoken, rather than fix classes. The parents are encouraged to engage with the team and participate in events like Mothers Day, meeting other parents and babies and sharing time together. They also have health and safety procedures in place to make sure our babies are well looked after. In summary, it has all I could think of when I was choosing a nursery.

Yume Wandsworth Nursery and Preschool is a wonderful new nursery in Wandsworth. Not only is the space beautiful, but the staff are also super kind, friendly and experienced. Settling my baby into a nursery was very emotional for me, but Yume Wandsworth Nursery and Preschool helps to ease anxiety with their flexible and understanding approach, showing care for both Mum and baby. We are happy to have joined Yume Wandsworth Nursery and Preschool and looking forward to experiencing all that they have to offer.
