Yüme Wandsworth Nursery & Preschool

My child has attended Yume since she was 13 months old. We chose Yume originally because we liked the fact that it's a purpose-built centre, however 2 years later we are very grateful that we chose to send our child here because of my child's development. My child has blossomed at Yume, she has learned about many different topics and we know that this is because of the curriculum at Yume which has kept her engaged and mentally stimulated throughout the years. She often talks about how much she likes preschool and whenever we pick her up, she has always been happy. I am very grateful for Yume and highly recommend them.

Our daughter started at Yume at 10 months old and the entire settling-in process, both at the start in the babies room and on room change to the toddler room, was seamless. There is fantastic communication, both via the app (which shares details on bottles, food, nappies and sleep in near-real-time as well as photos and information on the day's activities and has a messaging function) and via the staff at pick up. As a Dietitian I am constantly impressed by the nutrition and quality of the freshly prepared, home-cooked menus which offer a wide variety of foods. The facilities are clean, filled with a great range of books, toys and equipment and although there isn't an outside space within the nursery, the children are taken to the local park daily and there is a wide range of extra activities available including Spanish lessons, Hartbeeps, dance lessons, forest school and daily designed specific focussed learning activities including messy play set-ups. An amazing experience!

Yume Wandsworth Nursery is more than just a childcare facility; it feels like a second home, where our daughter was embraced by a loving and supportive staff. From the warm greetings each morning to the detailed daily reports on her progress, we are consistently impressed by the nursery's dedication to nurturing our child's development and well-being. Our initially introverted daughter blossomed into a confident and communicative individual within just a few weeks. Her enthusiasm for attending nursery is evident every morning when we ask if she wants to go – her resounding 'Yes!' speaks volumes. The nursery's mobile app provides us with real-time updates on our child's activities and development. We appreciate the transparency and the opportunity to stay closely connected to her day-to-day experiences. Additionally, the nutritious and delicious meals prepared by the nursery have played a significant role in her overall well-being. We will be forever grateful for this beautiful experience.

My son has been in the nursery since he was 6 months old. As he was still breastfeeding and didn’t like taking bottles, we were worried about how he would settle in. But all of Yume's staff took good care of him and tried bottles, sip cups, mugs, and he eventually started to drink and eat well. He absolutely loves the nursery as there are so many activities. We can’t thank the staff at Yume’s enough for looking after him and developing his abilities.

I always felt safe and proud to send my child to Yume, I could see my child thrive and gaining confidence in a loving environment.

Our baby joined Yüme at the age of 3 months, and we couldn't be more grateful for our journey with them so far. Their dedication, passion, and genuine love for children shine through. We receive excellent guidance and support in our day-to-day lives, and we can't recommend Yüme and their team enough. Choosing a nursery can be challenging, but we feel fortunate to have found our community and home here.

Both my children have attended this nursery. I could see an improvement in their development. The staff members are caring and the children become very attached to them. They carry out a variety of fun and educational activities throughout the day. Although there is no outdoor playground, the children are taken out for walks or to the park every day. There is a new library with a selection of books. One of the highlights is the food, which is delicious and nutritious. The nursery holds events such as sports day which are enjoyable for all.

The extracurricular activities are all included which is super! We love all the activities they do like yoga, dance, forest school, PE, etc. My baby is happy and that makes me a happy parent. I would recommend this place to everyone with little ones!

I have been to a few nurseries for my nephews and nieces but Yume School has something special. All the faculties are very professional and they are everywhere and whenever my nephew and other kids needed them. My nephew loves being in the nursery and he wanted to spend lots of time showing me around the nursery and his friends and educators. I was able to feel the very friendly and lovely atmosphere through my nephew's face. The facilities were very adequately placed and has a very nice and warm interior and also very safely placed.

We have had a brilliant experience with Yume. The nursery was recommended by a friend and I in turn have recommended Yume to others. It was our first experience of sending our son to nursery, and I don't think we realised how lucky we were with this nursery (now being at a different nursery due to a house move). The staff are incredibly hard-working, caring, and genuinely dedicated to the children.

Whilst the nursery is small and does not have outdoor space, it is located opposite the park and the children are taken there on most days (weather permitting) which they absolutely love. A huge thank you to the wonderful team!

My daughter has been at Yume for about 18m and she is so happy there. Her key person is one of her favourite people and she always talks about her at home. She loves her daily trips to the park, especially for the PE sessions and she also really enjoys the dance lessons they have weekly from an external dance teacher. The nursery itself is very modern and the rooms are very bright and well-equipped. They have also recently created a lovely library space. My daughter enjoys the daily activities which are always very interactive and well thought through - the educators have always been excellent at Yume and I am confident that my daughter has been well cared for. The management have also been helpful and flexible when we needed additional care for our daughter ad-hoc. We are not a Spanish-speaking family but have loved the Spanish input into our daughter's care as she now speaks more Spanish than we do!

Both of our children had a fantastic time at Yume Nursery. The front-of-house staff and team in the rooms are all lovely and seem to take a genuine interest in the children which creates a really nice family atmosphere. The food is fantastic and really varied. There are often varied events going on (Dance show, sports day etc) which the children love and gives the parents a chance to meet which is great. The space is a little limited (e.g no outdoor space) but the team do a great job with this and take them to the park most/all days which more than makes up for not having a garden. We will miss the team Yume!

Amazing nursery. My little one has been going to Yüme for 13 months, and he loves it there. Yüme staff is always there to help your child, and you settle and see what he needs most. They have supported us in every single step of his development. The food is very well balanced, with lots of variety, options, and healthy snacks. The nursery is very clean, spacious and located just by the park, so the children go there every day! They also include extracurricular activities (sports day, networking events and workshops for parents). My child has blossomed there; we are only leaving because we are moving to a different area, and the options are far from what Yüme offers. We will miss Yüme so much!

My son attended Yume from Oct-21 to Sep-22 (the only reason he left was that we moved overseas). It is an incredible nursery with caring, attentive, and most importantly, passionate team members. This is no doubt linked to the fact they are independent operators and not part of a wider chain. The level of communication is excellent (via the app), as well as everyday nurturing and development of the children. The space itself is modern and well-appointed, and there is a special emphasis on ensuring the kids spend as much time outside in nearby parks. A big plus also for the bi-lingual approach - this is no doubt handy for native Spanish speakers, but importantly, a wonderful and fun introduction to new languages for local English speakers. I could not recommend the place highly enough.

My son has been attending Yume for the last year, and we couldn't be happier with the nursery. The environment is nurturing and focused on each individual child's development. All the nursery staff, management and teachers exhibit positivity and make Yume a happy place to be, which is all children need to thrive. Highly Recommend!

Yume is such an amazing place! Nothing is more reassuring than watching our 18-month-old son looking forward to his day at the nursery. He barely even says goodbye now! You really feel listened to by both carers and management, and they truly adapt to the needs of your child. The added bonus is that you get live updates during the day, including pictures! Can’t recommend enough!

Our daughter started settling into Yume at 3.5 months. I was very nervous about leaving her because she was so small and hadn’t been left with anyone. The baby room team really supported our daughter's settling and transition to the nursery; she has built an amazing bond with her key person and is always super excited to see her and the team when she goes in, which really helped me. The management team have really supported me as a new mum; they took the time to go through all of my questions and really helped me ease my fears. The setting is beautiful, and the care the staff give is extraordinary. We are very happy at Yume and have already seen so much progress in our little girl.
