Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Ipswich

My son is 18 months, he is loving his nursery! The staff have really got to know him, his likes and dislikes and his speech is coming on leaps and bounds. The manager, Sam, is approachable and accommodating and his key worker is wonderful - we look forward to parents evening next month!

Twizzle tops was excellent for my daughter. The facilities, learning and updates from the establishment was always excellent.

Two staff members in particular were absolutely outstanding. My daughter absolutely loved them and they always gave excellent feedback on her activities during the day.

The manager always helped with any managerial and adminstrative related queries timely.

Overall, a wonderful experience.

Our boy has been going to Twizzle Tops for 1 Month. We have got to know the team and our son opens his arms wide when he sees them. He smiles to their voice. He enjoys the other children. We are updated daily with progress. It's a bonus we get free admission to the soft play next door for one child and one adult.

My daughter starts nursery almost month ago and she really loved it. Every time she is comming home she's bringing some new skill or word. She start to eat more which I'm very pleased about. All staff members really care about my daughter and make sure she fell happy and safe.

The school has newly built toy rooms and they maintain clean environments. They give education and teach in a lively manner where kids can enjoy.

My son started here just after his first birthday and for the most part I couldn't fault the care he received and he absolutely loved his time at nursery. However, in the past 6-8 months this place has gone seriously downhill, so much so that we are moving him to a new nursery for his last year before starting school. Firstly, I cannot remember the last time I had updates on the parent app. The room my son was in has no toys or age appropriate resources (arts and crafts materials for example). Nobody can ever tell us about his day because the person we drop him off with is never the same person we pick him up from. There are constant staff in and out and the children never go out like they used to - Park, shops, on the bus - Presumably because they don't have enough staff. The nursery itself is dirty and dingy and is not the same place we enrolled our son into 3 years ago. Avoid this place.

Overall my experience with the nursery was filled with stress. When I put my little one into the setting the nursery was great. They gave me a lot of reassurance and communication was excellent, however the change in management is where I attribute my experience of the nursery going downhill. The communication was fractured and the reassurance disappeared. I tried to give this nursery some time to turn things around, but found the improvements to be small and not enough in the end. The updates on the app not coming through to parents and always being blamed on the internet or app. Staff that were there most of the day with my child not there for handover so the other staff member didn't know and being given contradictory information. Whilst I wish the nursery would have turned around with the care and information, it never did.

Couldn’t ask for a better team of nursery staff too look after my kids all the staff are like individually picked angels because they are out of this world at there jobs my kids are always so happy too go too nursery which is because they love see the staff and there friends so glad we picked this nursery

I don't have one bad thing to say about the nursery or any of the staff! I drop him off knowing that he is safe and will be well looked after, supported and will have fun. I'm really glad that I chose Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Ipswich for my sons' nursery journey.

My little boy loves it there, they are very understanding and great in regards to his additional needs.

There has been a change to breakfast times, with it being 7 am - 8 am meaning needing to book the child in an extra hour, whereas before breakfast was until 8.30 am. I understand the staff want a good routine for the children, however, I just feel this is a money-making way and making it more difficult for parents to have an easy start to the morning before going to work as I have spoken to a few other parents, who agree.

Absolutely fantastic team. All staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The activities are well thought out and enhance learning. My child has thrived since being in the setting and his confidence has grown massively.

Overall, I'm very happy. My daughter loves it there, and because of that, my youngest daughter is starting in February.

Amazing nursery! The staff are lovely, caring and understanding. Always a welcoming atmosphere. My daughter absolutely loves the nursery. Twizzle Tops sure does the job, keeps you updated and always are amazing. Thank you to all the staff.

I would like to thank the staff at the Twizzle Tops for looking after my daughter well. It is an amazing place with amazing staff, and until today I have never had to make a complaint. She loves the nursery and she has learned so much that I barely recognise her. She also loves all the activities, loves to spend time with other children as well as she also loves the staff. I am proud of my little lady and all because the staff are so caring, nice, respectful and patient. Thank you all.

Our 2-year-old settled in very quickly and loves going to the nursery every day now. The manager and the team are amazing; they go above and beyond with looking after the children, creating various themed activities and keeping the nursery clean and safe for everyone. We love the daily update on the app, and weekend newsletters on what’s coming up next. Our child also loves going to the soft play area next door during the early morning too (what a plus!).

I highly recommend this nursery and am really pleased we chose this nursery.

Excellent nursery, my son loves to go. He is learning many new things. I'm very happy to have found this brilliant nursery and the staff team is very good. They have many activities outside and inside.

Twizzle Tops have been absolutely amazing and my son has learnt so much since being there from speech, to learning how to share. He loves all the activities they do there and I can’t wait for my youngest to start. The staff are so kind and always let you know how their day has been.
