Gelston Manor Nursery School

My little girl has recently started at Gelston Manor Nursery. After visiting numerous nurseries this one really stood out to me, you can see the passion and dedication the staff have for the children. My little girl is NG tube fed and the staff have been absolutely amazing, learning how to do this role they went absolutely above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble for them. My daughter absolutely loves being there. Gelston Manor Nursery is a wonderful nursery and I can't wait to see my daughter going from strength to strength.

We couldn't be happier with Gelston Manor Day Nursery. Our son has attended since November 2021 and our daughter will start next year. From the welcome we received when viewing the nursery, to now helping us navigate potty training, we couldn't ask for a better childcare setting. We get great updates on what our son has been up to, and the staff are fantastic. He has had brilliant key workers as well as room leaders and all other staff he is supported by and we communicate with (too many to mention, but you are all so lovely and great at what you do!). Our son has developed so much with help from Gelston and his confidence knows no limits! We absolutely love how much time is promoted outdoors and the outdoor setting is amazing. We cannot fault you, thank you.

My daughter has been attending Gelston Manor Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and has recently transitioned into the pre-school room. We could not be happier with her progress at this nursery. She spends lots of time outside, her key worker and room leader are always working hard to make sure they take her interests into consideration when setting up activities for the day and she now speaks more French than either me or her dad!

We currently have one son at Gelston Manor Day Nursery and his older brother also went before he transitioned to primary school last year. We are delighted with the nursery and have recommended it to a number of other families locally. The staff are wonderful and create such a lovely family environment for children to thrive. The outdoor space is fantastic, especially in summer, when the children enjoy all sorts of fun and adventures on the back lawn. Brilliant surroundings for children to play and for preschool aged children to thrive. We definitely recommend Gelston Manor Day Nursery. Thank you for everything you do!

From the first day our daughter started at the nursery we have felt thoroughly reassured that the staff in her baby room are committed to getting to know her, help her learn, provide fun new experiences and work in partnership with us as her parents. The staff are knowledgeable, kind and professional. We viewed several nurseries before our daughter was born and the passion and commitment of the staff at Gelston Manor Day Nursery outshone the rest! Our daughter has a dairy and egg allergy and this is taken into consideration every day when meals are prepared by the chef and is highlighted in the app for further reassurance.

I cannot rave about this nursery enough. Facilities are amazing, we never saw anything like it at any other nursery. The huge gardens and outdoor space for the kids is unrivalled and the care from all staff is amazing. The whole place gives lovely, homely vibes and we’ve been so happy and reassured sending our son here. The manager was great with our induction and welcoming us to the nursery. Special shout out to the staff in the bunnies room who have looked after our baby so amazingly well. Thank you so much.

We couldn't be happier with Gelston Manor Day Nursery. Our son has been going since he was 6 months and is now just over 18 months, he barely gives us a second look at drop-off now, he is so excited to get in! The progress he has made is incredible and they really ensure they align what they are teaching him at nursery with what his interests are and what we are teaching him at home. They keep us well informed about what he gets up to every day on the app and also at pick-up. He loves all the staff there and they all work so hard. The food is all homemade by the amazing chef there which was one of the big factors in sending him there as we love trying new food as a family so wanted to ensure he was getting a great variety on the days he attends nursery. They have an incredible outside area too and they get out most days too no matter the weather. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Gelston Manor!

A great nursery that my 16-month-old loves to attend three days a week. They have a great variety of activities, fantastic food offerings and brilliant overall care.

Love everything about Gelston Manor! From the outside space, the staff and the chef. Our little boy has come on so much since starting at Gelston. His key worker and the other ladies in his room are fantastic. They really take the time to develop a great relationship, not only with our son but with myself and my partner also. They are all extremely professional and should be proud of themselves and the work they do, cannot thank them enough! I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My daughter has been attending Gelston Manor since March 2022. As a first-time mum, it was lovely to feel reassured by the staff here that she was enjoying her days here. The app is great for having an insight into her day, recording her meals, sleep and photos too. (The quality of pictures could be better). The quality of care is second to none and the outdoor space is a huge advertising point. Yes, she gets messy but I love that she has experiences and opportunities that I wouldn't necessarily provide at home. The staff in her room are kind and caring and ensure she gets the most out of her days there.

Gelston Manor is like no other nursery we viewed, we were originally sold on the stunning grounds and beautifully decorated baby room, which looks nothing like a nursery but rather a family home. After meeting with the nursery staff for an initial viewing it became clear how accommodating and dedicated they are, treating each child as an individual and doing everything possible to make the adjustment to nursery life easy and fluid. As a first-time mother, it has really put my mind at ease knowing how experienced and caring the staff at Gelston are, and our son absolutely adores his key worker. He has made so much progress since attending thanks to the wonderful staff. Would highly recommend it.

The best decision we have ever made. From the nursery grounds, the staff, and the chef we can honestly say we are amazed consistently. Our son has come on in leaps and bounds and we know he will continually do so due to the staff at Gelston Manor and we can't thank them enough.

A fantastic nursery that provides an amazing environment for children to learn and flourish. The staff are always coming up with new creative ways of teaching and use the outside space a lot to ensure the children get fresh air and exercise whilst learning. Children with health or regular hospital appointments are guided and supported by staff to help them cope. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone, all the staff are great and the environment is safe and fun.

My 2 boys go to Gelston Manor and absolutely love it. The staff are so caring and always thinking of new ways to keep the children engaged and excited. The grounds of the nursery are absolutely perfect too providing lots of time for outdoor play, whatever the weather! Would definitely recommend the nursery.

Gelston Manor is such a lovely nursery and our little boy loves it! From the amazing staff to the outside space letting the children run in the fresh air, we couldn’t ask for anything more. We would recommend Gelston to any of our friends and family. Thank you for all you do.

Our child has attended Gelston for nearly three years now, and we couldn't be happier with how he has thrived during his time. The girls who care for him are amazing, taking time to get to know him, develop him from a tiny baby to a full of energy toddler! The setting of Gelston is lovely, with so much space for all of the children to play and learn. We are very proud to be part of the family.
