Little Manor Nursery School

The staff have been nothing but brilliant with us and our child. We have had clear communication clean facilities flexibility with what days we need and professional every minute of the day.

Leaving Little Manor genuinely feels like we are losing part of our family. We will always be grateful for the wonderful start they have given our boys. An easy 5 out of 5!

Little manor is incredible, I was terrified to go back to work and not once have I ever felt nervous to leave lucia with them. Everyone from management to the classes to the kitchen is lovely. They make such a genuine effort with all the babies and children, they take time to learn their interests and comforts. My daughter loves it that much that she collects her bag the mornings she's going to nursery and waits by the door asking for Cara, Gemma, Beth and Chloe and anyone else she knows is there. The app is amazing and is always updated and accurate and everyone takes the time to talk to you about your babies day. It makes you feel like a part of every bit of there day. Management is amazing Naomi is kind and understanding and so patient at explaining the nursery fees and helped us with the government funding too! She takes the time to check in on lucia is she is sick. I can't reccomend little manor and all it's staff enough I wish everyone had the same experience with their nurser

Since my son started at little manor in September 2025 we have had nothing but an amazing experience. I feel he is loved and valued by all the staff and they show genuine care towards the children. His key worker Gemma is always updating me on his day and the progress he is making and she always has a smile on her face. I see room leaders Cara and Georgia always showing professionalism at work yet still creating a fun and nurturing learning environment. Little manor goes above and beyond for both the children and their families.

Little Manor is a warm, caring and welcoming place. The staff are patient, kind and enthusiastic. My son has been well supported throughout his time at nursery in all areas. Little Manor offer lots of opportunities for parent involvement through events, stay and plays and use of their communication app.

I always feel reassured knowing my child is in such capable and loving hands. Little Manor is a special place, and I highly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing, enriching environment.

We moved our son to Little Manor Day Nursery in July 2023 after we felt his existing setting was no longer good enough. All the staff made him feel so welcome and he settled in really quickly. The play, learning activities and support provided have been wonderful. We get plenty of updates and the staff all make a real effort to get to know you and support the children in preparing for starting school.

The food always smells so good too!

My daughter has been at Little Manor since 2021 where she started in the Baby Room. From her first day, to now the care she has received has been nothing but consistent. She has always gone to nursery with a smile on her face and never once refused to go. The staff are all so kind and nurturing and with some of them being mums themselves it’s amazing to see them all treat my daughter like their own. They have supported her through her development, from learning to talk, to potty training her and now teaching her skills for when she starts school next year. My daughter is thriving and she amazes us everyday. She is currently in preschool and learns French too. Want to give a huge thank you to all the staff for making my daughter who she is today! We couldn’t be more proud.

One staff member in particular is so amazing with my little girl. You can really tell she puts in so much effort with her. The whole baby room staff are very hands-on with all the children. They’re a great room and my little lady has developed no end since starting.

As soon as we had a look around the nursery we knew it was the one for our daughter. She had two settling-in sessions which she really enjoyed and we were more than happy with what was to offer for our daughter. Our daughter has a milk allergy and they accommodate that so well and we feel confident in the fact that she won’t have anything with milk in. Our daughter cries at drop off but we know with the pictures on the app that she soon settles and has so much fun! She’s always smiling and having fun when we pick her up! They have really helped our daughter get into a routine which we really appreciate. The nursery is always clean and well looked after but the main thing for us is the staff. The care and interest they show for our daughter just makes it so much easier sending her to nursery. Any questions I have they are always willing to answer and I feel so comfortable with our daughter being in their care!

The team are super friendly and I know my child will miss them terribly when he leaves in August.

My little boy started at 10 months old and they constantly keep me updated throughout the day, and also have parent's evenings. They even phoned me when he started to crawl as they felt so proud of him and knew how excited I would be.

I think the thing that stands out most for me is the staff. They are all the most caring and compassionate group of people that genuinely seem to love their jobs and the children. They all really go out of their way to help the children learn and grow. The staff regularly take the children and do something fun, trips to the park, or the library. I think one thing that’s really important for me is that the staff always listen to any concerns you have or anything you have to say in regards to your child’s care and take that seriously. Having that two-way communication for me is super important as you can feel so anxious leaving your little one for the first time. I feel my little one has been super supported through different developmental stages and they really helped her with weaning and nap times in those early days (p.s. - they are napping wizards!). Couldn’t recommend enough and if I have another they will be first on the waiting list.

I couldn't be happier with the care given to my little boy at Little Manor Day Nursery. The carers in his room are outstanding and couldn't do more for him, he quickly formed strong bonds with all of them and became very comfortable when arriving at morning drop off. They consistently ask about what they can do to support his development and through their support he has come on in leaps and bounds. He has started to walk, talk and feed himself with a spoon! They have been so supportive in caring for his eczema and have now accommodated a dairy free diet for him to try and help with this further. The nursery has such a lovely atmosphere and is so homely. The new garden is such a wonderful outside space and the children get a chance to play outside almost every day. The new manager is so friendly and very knowledgeable and has already helped us with our little boy's skin issues. I would recommend Little Manor to anyone.

We are really pleased with the care and support for our little one from the management team and staff within the nursery. As anxious parents to a child who needs additional support at challenging times we really do now feel at ease when we drop off in the morning. And our little boy doesn't want to come home at the end of day! Our child's keyworker in particular really does aim to support his needs and communicate with us every step of the way. She's an asset to the nursery! The manager and deputy have made a significant impact in the nursery throughout the past few months we feel and its a lovely, welcoming setting to walk into. Our little boy is progressing in ways we didn't think he was going to, so this really does put us at ease about the decision to take him to Little Manor. I feel really supported as a parent by the manager, and feel comfortable to discuss our child's development at any time. We are looking forward to our little man growing further here.

Little Manor has been the perfect place for my little girl. She has blossomed into an independent young girl and has learnt so many skills from the staff. All the staff members are so helpful and absolutely adore the children they care for. They have supported our family through every stage of my little girl's development and continue to build her confidence in everything she does. We can't be more thankful.

We love Little Manor Day Nursery. When we first went to visit, we really liked how chilled the baby's room was and how friendly all of the staff were. The app is great to see what our little boy is eating and sleeping each day, and it's lovely to see the pictures. I love how they go out on trips to the park, library and even the shop. I would definitely recommend.

From one mum to another who is reading this review, this is the nursery you need to send your child to. I went to this nursery at the end of March close to tears, after the relationship had totally broken down at my little one's previous nursery, and they were so welcoming and made me feel at ease within minutes. They update me daily with pictures and messages about what’s going on and how they are, my little boy was a lockdown baby so struggles with new people, and he absolutely loves it, goes to them with open arms no tears and a smile on his face! Now the big one, my little girl starts school in September and I was extremely worried I was making a mistake moving her nursery’s seeing as she only had a few months left, but they promised they would make these months the best ever, and they really have! I have never seen her so excited to go to school to be with her friends and she is learning more and is more eager to learn at home! Her teacher really is amazing!

My little boy started at Little Manor Day Nursery in September 2020 when it first opened. We went to look around the nursery with my partner and fell in love and cancelled all other nursery visits! It is decorated and furnished to a high standard and absolutely immaculate. It does not have a typical ‘nursery’ feel to it, it feels more like a ‘home from home’ so inviting, warm and safe, which is exactly what we wanted for our boy! The neutral tones throughout, wooden toys and activities add to the whole amazing atmosphere of the nursery! My son has truly developed so much within himself since starting, physically, emotionally and socially intellectually, I can only thank the nursery workers for this. My son walks into nursery with open arms to the managers and workers, who are so friendly and approachable, I believe that he sees them as almost family, with how he smiles and lights up when he sees them in the mornings! Which is a big thing for him as he doesn’t like to leave my side! Thank you so much Little Manor Day Nursery!
