Choosing a safe nursery to send our child during a pandemic obviously brought a lot of worries and doubt but Galaxy Explorers have been brilliant in communication, safety, and care for the four months we have been sending our child. Opening in 2020 during the pandemic has clearly given them a much keener
focus than other nurseries have locally, and we are grateful for that.
The manager and the team are always positive and happy to deal with our questions and specific dietary and medical needs and our child is clearly benefitting from being in a happy, fun and learning environment. We appreciate how attentive key-workers are and get the right amount of feedback about our child's activities through an app. A huge thank you to the whole team at Galaxy Explorers for their work and look forward to being able to visit more often once Covid is "over"!

We were very happy to see Galaxy Explorers open in our neighborhood. It's been a pleasure having our child enrolled. He has settled so quickly and is learning so much. We were particularly happy with Covid regulations and how staff look after the children. We quite enjoy having access to the app to
see how his day has gone and what he has been getting up to. We're very happy to have chosen Galaxy Explorers.

Our son had the opportunity to join Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery Ltd in January 2021 and it’s been a fantastic experience from the start. We have been warmly welcomed and have received extensive information about the nursery, all staff have been very professional and friendly from the moment we stepped
into the nursery. Our son has adjusted in no time and significantly built his confidence, his language and writing skills. His key worker was posting lots of pictures and detailed progress reports on the app and was always taking time to talk about his day when I was picking him up. The space is bright, spacious and has very good educational tools. The children go out everyday and even during lockdown, management tried to find every learning opportunity. For example, because the kids were curious about the building site across the street, they organised a visit. My son has absolutely loved it!

We absolutely love Galaxy Explorers! The teachers/carers/staff are all exceptional individuals who provide the utmost care in creating fun and stimulating activities for the children that are culturally diverse and represent all people. Great care snd thought has been given to creating a safe and healthy
environment for the children that develops them on individual levels, while also enhancing their interpersonal skills through play and imagination. Our favorite activities are the special little events for the children that showcase different cultures through food/music/books/and play.

Staff are super friendly and very professional. I rely on people working in the nursery as I would with my own family. Our boy has lots of fun in the nursery and you can tell because sometimes, he does not want to leave the nursery.

Our son really enjoys the nursery and enjoys the daily activities. We really like the friendly and helpful staff. They have been very flexible in the current circumstances, also agreeing to provide additional care at very short notice.

So glad we chose this nursery for our son. Staff are lovely. Our son is always happy to go to the nursery and always happy when we pick him up. He loves to play outdoors - they go to the park or playground twice a day. I would recommend this nursery to every parent.

I first heard about the opening of Galaxy Explorers in February/March 2020, when I was given a flyer in a café. Little did I know that their flyer would change my life and my overall opinion towards day nurseries. Never before have I met staff that are so caring, kind, energetic and joyful. Staff are
also very accommodating with parents’ requests (prompt when responding to e-mails) and tailor what they offer based on each child’s needs. Some differences to other nurseries are: Galaxy Explorers discuss their policies with parents and are flexible, their meals are healthy; no sweets, whilst offering a variety of foods. Children are well looked after, very happy and always playing with a member of staff and other children, never left unattended. They also teach a foreign language and aim to develop activities further. Updates on their app come daily, including photos and comments on children’s progress/activities on the day. Some photos are printed out and given to parents. I highly recommend this nursery.

I couldn't be happier with leaving my little boy in this Nursery. My baby started when he was only 6 months and he was always been given a lot of care and cuddles.


Now he is 9-month-old and claps his hands when approaching the door of the nursery.


My peace of mind of knowing my baby is safe,

cared for and enjoying with his carers is invaluable.


The activities they do and the facilities are also outstanding. All the toys and made of wood, it is very clean and bright as the windows of the baby room faces the South.


I recommend this nursery 100% with no doubt.

My daughter has settled very quickly and we are extremely happy with the level of childcare and feedback at the end of the day. We have noticed how much her language and development has progressed so quickly. We also love the app and that we can also send in updates of what she gets up to at home. Although
they do not have an outdoor space, we have noticed they have been using a variety of local outdoor facilities when we get updates on the app. She comes home every day saying she loves the food, and we have seen she finishes all of her meals!

Galaxy Day Nurseries is a truly great nursery. The staff are extremely well trained, professional and inspire so much confidence. The team use the best of modern technology, including apps for parents to see how their child is progressing, and communication has been exemplary. Additionally, the rooms

Informative initial show around - all questions and concerns answered and felt very reassured my daughter will be very happy there.
Settles have gone extremely well even though my daughter has been sad for me to leave her, the team have made us both feel reassured and they don’t mind me calling to
check on her throughout the day.
My daughter always comes out happy and excited to go back and talks about her day.
My daughter has been enjoying food and apparently eating everything she is offered!
I was shown menus and there is variety and plenty of fruit and veg.
Handover/feedback at the end of the day is thorough and also like getting updates and photos through the app of her day.
The app is easy to use and navigate around.
My daughter appears to be enjoying a variety of activities and all the equipment available to her in the room.

Bhavika Patel

Job Title: Director

Bhavika is a co-owner of Galaxy Explorers. Bhavika has over 17 years’ experience working in childcare. She has worked both in the US as a nursery manager and as a nursery manager in London. Bhavika shows a true passion for the work that she does and this can be verified by the parents as well as the children for whom she has been responsible. She has won numerous awards and prizes in her previous employment including employee of the year across all nursery sites. She has also demonstrated her dedication to her career by achieving Outstanding OFSTED ratings on all the sites where she has worked and managed. Whenever she has a chance, Bhavika enjoys travelling and is also a keen reader.

Trisha Patel

Job Title: Director

Trisha is a co-owner of Galaxy Explorers. Unlike the rest of the management team Trisha is new to childcare. However, she has a strong commercial, operations and HR background, her last job had been as Global HR & Operations Director for a software consulting company, and previous to that working as a Commercial & Strategic business manager in the banking industry. During her spare time, Trisha enjoys spending time with her 1 nephew and 6 nieces, she also enjoys reading and travelling.

Our Nursery Manager Kerry started her career in Childcare 23 years ago. Her aim is to make a positive difference to all children who are under her team’s care and their families as well. Kerry prides herself on being approachable, not just to children but parents alike. She also ensures that her team have the same passion to create a nurturing and caring environment. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys spending time with her daughter, partner and friends, she also enjoys reading and swimming.

Our Deputy Manager Trish started working in a nursery in Ireland from the age of 16 as part of a summer job and she’s never looked back! Trish went on to obtain an Early Childhood Care & Education degree at University and she has 13 years’ experience of working in a nursery setting. Trish moved to London in 2015. She enjoys seeing children develop and reach key milestones under her care. She also believes that building strong relationships with parents is key to the child’s development in a nursery setting. Trish is a great organiser and she also loves letting her creative side out which you’ll see evidenced on our display boards! In her spare time, Trish enjoys swimming and going for long walks.
