Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery Ltd

The app they use to communicate with parents is good and very thorough from the daily diary updates to observations about my daughter's development. I have given 4 stars for facilities only because they don't have outdoor space of their own but the children go out daily and have access to a local garden a few mins walk away, they have a soft play area as an option for when the weather isn't great and they can't take kids out. I am moving out of the area and I am sad that I have to find somewhere new, I don't think I will be able to match galaxy explorers. They are the golden standard of what a nursery should be for children and parents.

While there is no outdoor play space attached to the building, they do use the local facilities with daily trips to the church garden and woodlands.

We are so happy with Galaxy Explorers that my second child will start there soon - I truly recommend them!

5. Experience, passion and drive from the staff members: you can see and feel reassured every day that you are leaving your little one with people who really care, know about baby and toddlers development and first aid.

If I had to criticise something I would say they don't have their own dedicated outdoor space... but they also go out to the local parks and playgrounds every day -- so it's not really an issue.

Best nursery in the area.

My two boys have been at Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery for two years and they enjoyed every day they spent there. The entire team are so professional and caring and their communications were first class. We moved out of the area, which is why we had to leave, and it's going to be very difficult to find a nursery to match Galaxy. Thank you so much to you all for your kindness to my boys and the great care you took of them.

Our daughter was given outstanding care from when she started at Galaxy Explorers at 2 years of age and she will be leaving soon to start primary school at 4 years of age. Right from the very start, when our daughter was settling in, she was made to feel very secure and happy. The carers are so excellent. At the open days, we were provided with reports on our daughter's progress for key stages. We could see how fast our daughter was developing skills such as counting and recognising alphabetic characters. In addition to story time at nursery, the nursery provided a book library at the front door which encouraged us to borrow and read books to her at home. I was so pleased when I saw how happy she was as she ran in the door every morning with excitement and happiness. The carers made every festival special with art showing we live in a diverse city, explaining these festivals and different cultures. We are very sad to be saying goodbye to such a wonderful team.

Our little boy leaves Galaxy Explorers next month after two years. He has received excellent care throughout, the staff are very kind and caring. We have a good understanding of what he does each day, what he eats, toilet trips etc via the app, including lots of nice photos. He has had the same key worker for the majority of his time there. She has encouraged his development and monitored his progress. The room leader in pre-school has the most incredible imagination and she crafts some fantastic activities. They spend lots of time outdoors visiting the church garden, ecological park, the farm and local playgrounds. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The management is excellent and very hands on. They obviously are very experienced in running nurseries.

Thank you for making our first experience with a nursery so painless and we can only hope our new nursery will live up to the same standards.

We were extremely lucky to have our daughter starting her nursery life at Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery. Both our daughter and us were welcomed by the lovely staff and felt so reassured from day one! The nursery is extremely well looked after, the rooms are amazing, and the food was freshly cooked every day. Hygiene and safety are also second to none. Our daughter absolutely loved the staff and her activities, the nursery pays a lot of attention to child development but also allow children to learn at own pace. I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough! Thank you for everything you've done and for making our daughter's first learning experience so special!

Our son has had the most wonderful experience at Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery from the age of 6 months to nearly 2 years. He has developed so quickly during this time and we are so grateful to the whole team for all of their care and attention. We were extremely sad to leave as we're relocating out of London. We would recommend Galaxy Explorers without hesitation to any new parents.

We don't live in London anymore but we have very fond memories of Galaxy Explorers. Our son was at that nursery for about a year and he enjoyed it a lot. The teachers are really warm and friendly and the nursery management very helpful.

We felt very fortunate to have had Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery Ltd care for our son. He received the utmost care, excellent support and attention from every staff, carers and teachers. Galaxy also engaged external classes such as the Forest School, Sports Coach and Poppin’ Bunnies which created a safe, positive and stimulating environment for children. Our son really enjoyed these activities and has developed very well to a happy, confident toddler with notable communication. Both Nursery managers are very personable and helpful who always listen and accommodate parents’ needs. Everyone at Galaxy welcomed constructive feedback from parents positively and worked towards reaching the best resolution for everyone, especially during the pandemic. Galaxy is truly an excellent nursery and we highly recommend it to parents. We feel sad that it is time to say goodbye; we will definitely miss sending our son there and interacting with all of the dedicated staff. Suffice to say, our son misses his time at Galaxy too.

Absolutely wonderful nursery with an exceptionally supportive and friendly team. After the last year (and more) of lockdowns, we weren't sure how well our son would adjust to his first experience of formal childcare and wanted to go gently. But he's absolutely blossomed in their care, getting chattier and more confident by the day - he's always full of stories when I pick him up, telling me about the walks he's been on with his nursery friends, the games he's played, the puppets he's met. In fact, we increased his hours after he kept persistently asking for 'more nursery'! He's even introduced me to a couple of local parks I hadn't discovered (as the nursery doesn't have its own outside space, I wondered about whether this would be a problem - but they really make the very most of the nearby woodlands and parks). I would unhesitatingly recommend this nursery; we've been so impressed by the whole team's enthusiasm, dedication, and affection for the little ones.

My son started at Galaxy Explorers a few months ago and it felt great to see how he was embraced by all the staff. Little name tags had been made for him, printed placemats with information about his diet and lots of other small touches that made us feel like this place is organised, has good policies in place and really cares about the individual children. Nothing has made me think otherwise in the months since. The nursery has been reliable during the pandemic which has been invaluable to us. Communication is great, the activities have a developmental angle as well as being fun and most importantly, my son is delighted to go in every day. We feel like we're paying for quality.
