Kids Planet West Bridgford

Both of our daughters attended The West Bridgford Day Nursery from the age of nine months until they started school and I believe this has been an integral part of their young lives. The staff became a part of our family and we couldn't have asked for a better setting for our babies. All members of the team formed a great bond with both our girls as they moved through the rooms and they always came home happy and healthy. I really can't thank them enough for everything they have done, the only downside is how much we and the girls miss them but our daughters both talk fondly about their memories there.

The team here are simply exceptional. My son went here and when he left to go to school he was and still is, streets ahead. My daughter now attends and she’s absolutely getting the same benefit. We class nursery like “Early Years University” and this place is better than Oxford and Cambridge combined!

It’s a lovely, small, friendly nursery with excellent staff. My son has settled in well and seems really happy there. They do lots of great activities with the children and after just a few months in the baby room, I can already see things he’s learning there.

We miss you all now that the children are in school but listen to fond stories told by the children every time we drive past.

I am a fussy parent and I have never felt I couldn’t contact the nursery, any request has never felt like too much and my partner and I have nothing but positive things to say about the setting as a whole. Especially the baby room, I feel like her key workers are always with her and that they genuinely enjoy her. I cannot praise two particular staff members highly enough.

Very professional nursery, my son has been going here for around two and a half months and found all the staff to be lovely. I can always leave him knowing that he will be in safe hands and well looked after. Even after a short period of time, I feel he has come on in leaps and bounds since starting here and I would highly recommend the nursery to any new parents looking for somewhere to take their child.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 9-months-old, she is now going to school this year. From the day she started till today, she has had the most enjoyable and valuable experience, and a lot of who she is now, I can certainly put down to her nursery experience. From day one, the staff have been wonderfully warm and welcoming. I know that my daughter absolutely has the best time when she's there. We will be very sad when its time to leave for school. Its been a big part of all our lives, and we shall miss everyone very much. Highly recommended West Bridgford nursery to anyone looking for an excellent standard of care.

Our son has shown tremendous growth in his skills since he started with the West Bridgeford day nursery two months ago. We are impressed by their level of care for health and hygiene. The staff are friendly and provide a detailed review of the day. Our son seems to enjoy the food provided by the daycare and has tried a variety of food we could not provide otherwise. Overall, gentle, professional service with a homely, personal feel to this daycare. 5-stars from us.

My two daughters are absolutely in love with all the workers. And we are really happy with the number of information that we receive every day when you collect them and all the activities that the babies are involved in.

Absolutely amazing in the lockdown and Covid-19 situations, and really thankful for taking care of my daughters.

I have a two-year-old currently at the nursery because they did such a great job with my six-year-old son. Cleanliness and hygiene are unparalleled, the whole building is spotless. The staff are engaging and my daughter rushes through the door every morning with a smile on her face. The activities they do with the children are so imaginative and the environment is welcoming and homely. The manager is always prompt in responding to any questions I may have and the nursery staff keep excellent development records of the children which parents review on a regular basis.

Our children have been thriving at nursery. The staff are lovely and I'm very happy with the range of activities they do with the little ones, ours loved kneading and bread making. The nursery has a lovely, newly designed large play area outside and the kids love to spend time there. This place has been such a wonderful learning environment for them during these difficult times and they have made impressive progress with English too, we have different languages at home. The manager has such a calm and reassuring presence, trustworthy and professional. The rest of the staff are lovely too. Our kids' key persons are lovely people, knowledgeable and professional, thus ensuring a high standard of teaching and childcare. The kids settling sessions were conducted in a calm and engaging manner, with the minimum of separation anxiety for both Mum and kids, I wouldn't have expected to feel so comfortable and reassured. I recommend this nursery wholeheartedly!

Love The West Bridgford Day Nursery. When my little one started nursery I couldn’t really bear the thought of leaving her anywhere, but these guys made me, her dad and our daughter so comfortable it been no problem at all. The staff are so good and kind with her, she always comes home well fed and chirpy so know she’s had a good day. Lots of fun activities so they are always busy, including lots of things we’d never do at home because of the epic clean up! I feel really listened to when we’ve been encouraging something at home and told staff it followed through on her nursery days. Great nursery all round for us.

Both my children have attended nursery, and I cannot fault the care and support that they have received here. My eldest thrived and has gone on to school with a love of learning and confidence that was gained from spending time at nursery. My youngest has additional needs and has surpassed expectations; I credit a lot of this to the care and support received in the nursery. The staff go above and beyond, and I cannot thank them enough!

My son had been attending nursery from the age of 1 and all the girls were amazing at helping him to settle in. I had worries about his speech but after starting nursery he came on leaps and bounds, he loved his time at nursery/preschool.

My grandson is at the nursery and I regularly have to drop and pick up. The nursery is so lovely and clean but also has so many activities for the children. The communication between the staff and myself and my daughter is excellent. They always let you know how his day has been and what he has been doing. The staff are so lovely and friendly but a special mention to certain members of staff who are so caring and put my mind at rest if my grandson is upset. They always help him settle well and take his mind off us leaving him.

My little boy loves it here, he has great relationships with the friendly staff and is enjoying all the exciting Autumn activities. The staff have supported him in all areas of development and have especially helped with the recent adjustments due to COVID restrictions.
