Wildflower Marston Day Nursery & Preschool

My son attends Marston Day Nursery and spends his day full of activity. He has progressed enormously throughout his time there, he has learnt new skills and shown a key interest in others. I had concerns that choosing a nursery would be a nightmare but knowing and seeing that my little boy is happy and safe there makes it’s all so easy. He is always happy to go in and happy to see us at the end of the day with lots of information given from the staff both throughout the day on the app and at the end of the day with a handover. Highly recommend!

The Marston Day Nursery is fabulous! I was very anxious about starting my son at nursery but as soon as we went and had a tour of the nursery and spoke with the senior management team, I felt instantly at ease. The nursery is beautiful and safe and there is so much for the children to do and explore. The staff are brilliant and knew exactly how to work with my son to help him settle, I couldn't have asked for better support. Our son has settled exceptionally well into nursery and has built strong relationships with many of the staff. I feel happy knowing that he is safe and well cared for whilst at nursery. I love that the children go out for walks and little adventures on a regular basis and the daily photos and updates make me smile every time! They have an excellent facility with beautiful gardens and I can't recommend this nursery enough!

My little one has been going to the Marston nursery since August 2020, almost from the beginning of the nursery. We couldn’t be happier with the attention and the care that he receives. The staff are very friendly and are engaging the children with different stimulating activities each day. There are days in which they go for a walk to the forest center in search of leaves or cones for different activities or just for a fun walk. In this uncertain times with Covid, the nursery has been updating their policies and pick up and drop-offs to make it more secure for parents and staff. The app that they are using for updating your child's progress is the app that they use for communication which is an added value. It makes communication both ways very easy and straightforward. The outdoor space has been just set up so will need a bit of time for the trees and plants to grow. We are very pleased to have this high standard nursery on our doorsteps and we are really happy with our choice.

Such a professional and well-organised nursery! Our daughter settled in so easily and loves going each week! The staff are all so friendly and are very passionate about looking after the children in the appropriate manner. The nursery is very clean and the toys and outdoor areas are very well kept. We were very wary of putting our daughter in nursery at such a young age but we now have no worries about her being there at all!

Our son started here after lockdown, and we were nervous he would take a while to settle in. After a few short weeks, he now runs into his preschool room, with arms up ready to be scooped up by his favourite key workers. He has thrived and developed so much in his time here. They are all simply incredible, loving, caring, professional and educated in the highest standard of the early years care. 20/10 would recommend.

My son started nursery for 2 days a week after lockdown. He loves it so much we’re now upped his days to 3. He skips to the nursery and so happy when we pick him up. He happily talks about his key workers and his new friends. His confidence has soared, his speaking has improved and he knows the names of a lot of the children in his group which I was pleasantly surprised at. It’s not usually been his strong point. I’m so impressed with the ideas and play they do on a daily basis, always something different. He loves that they go for walks to the forest centre and to parks and gets lots of fresh air. So much effort and thought have gone into the decor and equipment of the nursery and their garden. There was a couple of niggly bits early on but I’ve put that down to teething issues which have now been ironed out. It was nothing compared to how happy going to nursery makes him.

My little boy started going here last month and he loves it, the nursery is modern and only opened in the summer. The attention to detail is brilliant, they use the forest centre in the village to get outside and it is amazing!

The nursery setting itself is beautiful - modern, spacious, bright and clean which is what initially attracted us to The Marston Day Nursery. My son did take a while to settle but the staff have been fantastic and he has grown in confidence since he first started. I am a shift worker and the staff have been very accommodating to this by letting me select different days each month to work around my shifts. I would definitely recommend the nursery.

The Marston Day Nursery has been absolutely amazing from initial contact. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional and I really feel as though they care about my son; it's not just their job. My son has allergies and they adapt the menu so he doesn't miss out and enjoys the same food as the other children. The facilities are great and geared towards enhancing the children's learning and development. The app allows me to see what my son has been doing each day, what food he's eaten and I love seeing pictures of him enjoying his day too. The new garden looks amazing and my son loves going on walks to the nearby forest centre with the forestry lead. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The nursery is furnished to a very high standard and has lots of toys to suit every child. They also often take trips outdoors and have an excellent garden for outside play. All the team are a pleasure to deal with and even during this pandemic, they are following all government guidance. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.
