The Marston Day Nursery

I was so worried about putting my son into nursery. From our first visit, I felt comfortable in the setting and couldn't imagine sending him anywhere else. So pleased we were able to secure a space. Staff are kind and caring and I feel like I'm almost part of a family. The app updates are brilliant and the outdoor space is great. The food is brilliant, my boy loves the menu!

Another lady teacher has been amazing with our youngest as have all the staff. The staff working here deserve to be treated extremely well as they work so hard to take care of many kids throughout the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone searching for the perfect place for their child.

My son has been going here since January 2023 and he absolutely loves it. The staff and team are very friendly and kind. They organise many different activities for the kids to participate in and frequently go on outings around the village, which he loves. The app is great giving daily updates and pictures of what my son has been up to that day.

The Marston Day Nursery has been amazing, cannot recommend it enough. The staff have been supportive of helping us get our little boy potty trained, he has learnt so much since being there. We receive daily updates and photos of what our child has done and it’s always something different. The staff are so lovely, give us updates at the end of every day and send regular updates of news things our child has learnt.

My son currently goes to Marston Day Nursery, and I couldn’t recommend it enough - it is fab! He was very shy to start with but has come out of his shell loads, always seems to complete great activities and loves the outdoor area. Staff are incredible, all very friendly and welcoming!

I am so happy that my child got a place in this nursery. I know how popular it is and we have waited a few months for a place to open. The staff here are very friendly and the smell of home-cooked food when you enter gives it a homely feel (the kitchen door being open also shows me how clean the place is, it is immaculate!) The new Manager is lovely and approachable and I am confident she will be good for the nursery. I love the daily updates on the app, it helps me feel at ease if my mind is wandering at work, and I know I can message my child's key worker directly if I need to. The activities on offer are great, these are shared on the app too. I like how they go on walks in the giant buggies with lots of seats! And how my child comes home with different paintings and pictures they have made during their day. The gardens are lovely and big and it seems outdoor, natural, messy play is very much the norm here.

Marston day nursery is a warm, caring and stimulating environment for my daughter. I am confident she is getting opportunities throughout the day to challenge and engage her. I have the comfort she is safe and well cared for and that I'll be contacted and informed on my daughter's well-being and health when necessary, but also updated on how she is progressing and developing. The facilities are excellent. Staff are capable, friendly and professional and the food nutritious and adventurous. I'm confident my daughter is learning in an environment which is set up for her to thrive, have fun and learn.

This nursery embodies how to balance professionalism with a good sense of morale. The staff members conduct themselves in a polite manner and go out of their way to ensure my child's needs are met. I appreciate all their effort and cannot thank them enough.

Our children are very happy there. The nursery building and facilities themselves are really wonderful, with lots of open-ended and creative activities for the children to enjoy. The staff take care each day to set up interesting and thoughtful play provocations for the children. I haven't always seen this level of creativity at other settings. The staff are really wonderful and I feel like they genuinely care about my children. The nursery as a whole is really open to working with parents and have always been open to any feedback and concerns I have about my child. We really enjoy the parent app and the information on it. The nursery does a summary post each day with a few photos of what each room has been up to, which I think sets them apart from some other settings. We are really happy with the care and are glad we picked them for our preschool experience. Oh, and the food provided for the children cooked by the on-site chef is brilliant.

My son absolutely loves his days with Marston day nursery. He has come on so much since being there. It’s a lovely place, the staff are brilliant. I love the app and pics they share. Definitely would recommend it. One member of staff, in particular, is fantastic. My little one adores her.

Our daughter joined The Marston Day Nursery back in September and from the very first settling in session, I knew she was going to have a great time! All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and supported both my daughter and myself with transitioning into our new routine of the nursery. The setting has been very well thought out and allows the children to develop their curiosity and a love for learning! The nursery offers amazing meals which are cooked on-site and are always so nutritionally balanced and very child friendly. It’s lovely being able to drop my daughter off and know she is in the best possible care. Thank you to all the team and The Marston Day Nursery!

The updates via the app throughout the day give you peace of mind. It’s so nice to know they are settled and cared for.

My son started at The Marston in January 2021, and if I’m being honest, I was a bit apprehensive about how he would get on after a year at home with me due to Covid, but I really shouldn’t have worried! The Marston has been great with him, and he has really come out of his shell. His development is monitored regularly, and we are really impressed with his learning and development. On top of this, the staff are really friendly and go above and beyond to ensure the little ones are happy! I’d highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter started this nursery, and the whole team are excellent! They are soo busy all the time, going out doing so many different activities, very creative with the activities and celebration days. They update very often about their development as well as what they eat. The food variety is excellent, loads of fruits and healthy variety. Good communication within the whole setting, they act quickly and is never an issue. They are always there for whatever you need. I feel, in general, staff are very professional - definitely recommend it! My only regret is not starting earlier in this setting. Cannot recommend enough. Well done to the whole management and having such a great team.

My 2 year old boy absolutely loves the nursery. The management organises a lot of different activities for children every single day, so children get various experiences. Kids get fed regularly with healthy meals. It is just such a lovely place for children!

My daughter has settled in really well at the nursery and seems to really enjoy it. The staff are polite, and I love the app that keeps me regularly updated with what she’s been doing throughout the day.

We’ve had our little boy in The Marston Day Nursery since it opened. It’s been great since then, the staff are friendly, willing to communicate (via phone and the app) whenever we have wanted. My little boy has developed a lovely relationship with his key worker. The facilities are awesome, the rooms and outside space are great for all the kids. I’d recommend this nursery very highly!

Within minutes of viewing the nursery, we knew that it was the right place for our little girl. When I describe the nursery to friends and family, I say it looks like the kind of nursery you could only dream off. It's bright, airy, has so much space for the children to explore inside and out, and the staff have been nothing but kind, attentive, and reassuring. Our daughter comes home with lots to say about what adventures she's been on. She has lots of fun, and we are very happy with our nursery choice.

Great Nursery! Every practitioner is showing lots of patients towards children and parents. My child has been very happy since we put her to the nursery, compare to how she was when she was with a childminder. Meals variety are fabulous. Room was spacious compared to other well-known nurseries nearby. I am very happy that the nursery has opened up so close to my house.
