Located conveniently just off the high street in Worle, Little Adventures Nursery offers a premium nursery putting care and nurture at the heart of everything they do. Featuring a state of the art baby room and toddler/preschool room, they also have highly trained staff that put each and every child at the heart of what they do. If you like the inside, wait until you see what they're planning for the outside!

They use a specialist app to connect you to your child's day at nursery. From nappy changes and food eaten to regular observations that give you live updates on how your child is progressing against the EYFS framework. Oh, and they also let you see the fun they've been having each day through news feed posts with pictures.

Cleanliness is normally a basic, but they take it to new levels with their general standards and regular 'fogging' using a fine mist of disinfectant that is completely eco-friendly and leaves behind an innovative silver-based barrier against bacteria and germs in the setting.

You can be confident that your child will develop to the best of their potential with Little Adventures Nurseries. They're experts in learning through play. Not only will you receive daily updates on specific areas that they are focusing on that week, but you can also see an overall view of how your child is doing against all areas of development.

Part of the Family Adventures group of companies, all children who attend for the equivalent of two whole days also get a free annual pass to the multi-award-winning Ocean Adventurers indoor play site in Cheddar.

They know that settling in your child at the moment might seem daunting, but the team will work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible. Why not book a tour to see for yourself why the nursery has been rated as a 2024 Top 20 UK South-West nursery and overall Top 20 UK Nursery Group?

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since march 2023. She has thrived in this setting and the staff have been wonderful. However there have been some recent changes that make us feel the nursery is moving away from the kind of nursery we were looking for.
In the 3 years since we joined, the
company has moved from a medium business to a large business, and with that there have been new polices and changes. It's clear the people making the decision are not the ones in the nursery day to day.
Food charges are very expensive for the portion size provided, but they make it difficult for people to provide their own lunches within their rules.
Some of the extracurriculars have been removed in place for in-house replacements, putting more pressure on the day to day staff.
This nursery has supported our daughter from baby - preschool very well but if I was to be choosing a nursery today I'm unsure if it's where I would choose.

My son has been at this nursery for nearly a year now and has developed amazing and his speech has been developed so much in those months. We are nearly complete with potty training as well. The team are all so lovely, kind, caring and always so happy and love getting involved and you can tell how great
they are because all the children love going to them. They are all super stars. Management are great and always help with any queries we have. I absolutely love this nursery and was always my top choice for where I wanted my son to go. He does 3 full days as well so we have been so pleased with all the support and love from this nursery. 10/10 on everything for me and the enrolment process at the start was smooth and my son settled in so quick. Children get to go outside lots as well and even do mini trips out to the park and are always encouraging development goals and further their learning. massive massive thank you to everyone who works here.

Good experience so far, staff are lovely and really hands of with the kids. The activities are fun and engaging. Staff and management are easy to contact through the app and in person. Really good hand overs during pick ups and further opportunities for feedback during regular parents evenings. Food
options are really good, varied and healthy

There has been a large turnover of both management, staff and support staff since we have joined the nursery around 3 years ago. Initially communication etc was top notch and any issues or concerns dealt with. Communication now is not as good for example we can be told child has eaten one thing and
another thing showing on app. Child does seem to be developing and has good relationships with other children and staff but breakdown in communications and high staff turnover is becoming worrisome and the big corporate seems to be the main focus. Lots of rubbish and broken toys have been seen in outside spaces etc.

My son started at this nursery in Feb 2025, and he has flourished during his time here, and is now in the next room up, he has a lot of fun here, and has hopefully made some good friends, he also enjoys the food.
I'm looking forward to seeing him further flourish and make more memories (and friends)

The staff always seem friendly and interested in my child. The variety of food is good, well balanced and nutritious.
The outside space is limited but they still make good use of it and by having external companies in for activities is a good opportunity for the children to be involved in.

My daughter has developed so much and has grown in confidence and in social skills due to her time at Little Adventurers. Staff are so kind and clearly all have taken time to know my daughter and build relationships with her. Communication via the app is brilliant so I always know main activities she's
taken part in; my daughter is also showing off new skills taught at nursery (like buttering bread and putting on her own coat). She's very proud of this independence! Communication is swift if I need questions answered and you are made to feel very welcome in person, which eases mum guilt/stress. Child care is expensive but you can see why when so much effort goes in. Very glad we chose this nursery for our daughter: hope she'll be happy there until school age.

It's wonderful to hear how much your daughter has grown in confidence and independence during her time with us. Those little milestones like buttering bread and putting on her own coat are such proud moments! We truly appreciate your recognition of the care and effort that goes into every day. Thank you for your trust in us and for choosing our nursery to be part of your daughter's early years journey.

The nursery staff and management and incredible. It can be daunting leaving your child, but the staff make it an easy transition for you and your little one. The nursery goes above and beyond for each child. My son is so happy at nursery and he has really thrived in their care. It's a beautiful thing
to know your child is not only cared for, but loved by their key workers and I can honestly say that is true for this nursery.

My little one started when she was 2 and she had only been with me since she was born. She was quite nervous/upset when she first started but the staff there made her feel so welcome and encouraged her and she has come on in leaps and bounds now and loves going there. The staff are always friendly when
she arrives and always say goodbye to her when she leaves. Such a friendly and inviting environment.

My little boy started nursery a year ago when he was one and loves being at Little Adventures! I was nervous to leave him at first but all the staff were welcoming and offered my little boy activities they knew he liked which helped the settling-in process. A year on he cheers when we get into the car
park, asking for his friends as we walk to his room and always points back to the building when we leave in the evening!
Everything is catered for with daily updates on the app, handovers and photos! His speech and learning have come on so much in the recent months often coming home saying new words and completing tasks himself showing independence which we cannot thank the nursery staff enough for! They have taken the time to really get to know his personality and I know when he is there he's happy and safe. We have our next baby signed up already to make sure we have a space as we wouldn't want to anywhere else!

Our son has very complex needs and I cannot begin to put into words how impressed we have been with our nursery. They have gone above and beyond our expectations when it comes to our child. They have always made sure to have regular contact with us in the form of face-to-face meetings to discuss what
is/isn't working for our child and together we come up with a plan. They ensure they are up to date with their continuing professional development to make sure they are staying relevant with his disability. They make reasonable adaptions for him and always will be open and honest with us as parents.
We would recommend this nursery to anyone, but feel as a special educational needs parent, there is always the extra worry in your head. Rest assured, this nursery will go above and beyond to accommodate and help your child to thrive.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.571)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.571) out of 10 for Little Adventures Nursery Worle is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 24 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.571 for Little Adventures Nursery Worle is calculated as follows: ( (211 Excellents x 5) + (53 Goods x 4) + (11 Satisfactorys x 3) + (12 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 287 Ratings = 4.571
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Adventures Nursery Worle is based on 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 44 number of registered child places is 8.8, which has been reached with 22 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.

My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
