My granddaughter got four weeks four days a week at the playhouse I can't say how much she loved all the activities that your staff have provided for her the trips out on the coach, she has loved every minute she has been there. Your staff are a credit to the playhouse, they are warm and engaging with

They absolutely loved it.
The play never ends for a child.
Both are happy bunnies, they have planned activities for every day which is brilliant.
It’s not only open play all day, they organise activities also, which I really appreciate.

Such an amazing place with amazing staff members. They 'saved me' with childcare when I needed the most. My child is excited to go there every time and doesn't even want to leave how much she loves Barnardo's. The best place possible for my child. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t be happier with the care Play House provide for my child.
The activities provided, trips out, and day-to-day care is fantastic. I think it is great how the team amend daily activities if required. My son always comes out happy and actually was a little upset that we are going on holiday
and he can’t attend Play House, I think that says it all. I’m so grateful for all the staff at Play House. I am super grateful for how the team are with my child. Thank you Play House.

My 5-year-old loved going to Play House for summer club so much that I had to increase his hours booked with them. It's nice that meals are included in the price. The staff are very friendly. The facilities looked good too.

My little boy just loves spending time in Play House, friendly staff, always happy to help, lots of activities and trips, great for kids during the summer holiday, and keeps them active and occupied all day long. Opening hours are perfect for working parents.

I'm very pleased with the holiday club my son has been attending. The place looks really nice and clean, there's plenty to keep kids entertained and stimulated. Amazing outside area, which my boy loves. The staff are very polite and helpful. Outings are an extra amazing addition to the overall experience!
I'd like to see more pictures uploaded on the app. It's so lovely to see what kids are up to. That would be my only recommendation.
Very happy and will be returning for sure!

My son attends for holiday club. He always has a great time, fed well and does lots of interesting activities. He's always happy to attend. I really appreciate how many physical games they play, the crafts they make and different foods they make. They all seem to care a great deal.

My son loves going there, staff are always kind and supportive, especially when my son has meltdowns and reports this to me.
They have plenty of space for children to play outside.

My daughter joined pre-school not long ago. Just after her previous setting was closed. Overall experience is amazing. My girl went there with a smile every time. She loved all of the teachers. Every day was a different adventure full of play time, learning and laughter. I highly recommend this setting
and definitely will be using the out of hours club in future.

Fantastic pre-school. My son absolutely loves it. They do a variety of activities, he's kept busy all day and is learning new things as well. The staff are all lovely, very warm and friendly.


The only one suggestion I would make is the opening time. The preschool is next door to our other childs

primary school who have changed their start time to 8.35am so we have to wait 25mins between drop offs. If they could open slightly earlier to make drop offs smoother that would be helpful.

I use Playhouse as a breakfast and after-school club only but I cannot fault the staff at all, they are all so lovely and welcoming to the children and offer them a home-from-home while they are in the setting. The manager does her absolute best for each child and always sees the good in them. Playhouse
are also always open to suggestions from the parents in better ways to do things/improve on. I especially love that they have a male member of staff, that absolutely sets a presence for nurseries/out-of-school clubs and shows a great attitude towards equality and diversity! There is always food/snacks for the children along with water/squash. My daughter hated her previous breakfast and after club, and now I struggle to get her out of Playhouse! Honestly cannot fault them and hope that they continue to get funding to keep providing this service! The playhouse team have made a positive impact on my 2 children!

Without the help of all who work at Play House, I would have struggled to have kept my job this year. The reality is, Play House helped me to collect my child in her first couple of weeks at Norwood Primary School while I continued to work. All went above and beyond to ensure my child was collected
at obscure times and made comfortable throughout the day at Play House. Her brand new school uniform was folded so neatly in her little rucksack, which to me was a very personal touch. All my children have attended the after-school club and my youngest attended Pre School at Barnardos Play House and I cannot speak highly enough of all involved. Throughout lockdown the girls in the Pre School were fantastic, the graduation from Pre School party was touching and with every event that occurs my children will leave with some sentiment, from a valentines gift to a Chinese New Year fortune cookie.
I lost my mother to cancer, so I lack that support, but can honestly say Play House has been a backbone.

Both of my boys (7 and 5) attended the holiday club during the summer holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a great range of activities (including a trip out) and the lunch and snacks were great. They can't wait to return.
