Overall this is a very nice nursery. The facilities are good with each age group having it's own indoor and outdoor space. Staff turnover is low and they don't use any agency staff unlike other nurseries. The staff do care a lot about the children and communicate well, giving an oral update at the end
of the day and written observations via an app. Management are also responsive if there are any issues that need to be escalated. Food is decent and healthy (e.g. no sweet desserts only fruit or yoghurt). Staff in the two older rooms give good support on potty training. The kids are kept busy, but unlike some posher nurseries they don't do any fancy activities like yoga. Safeguarding is very strong they query any accidents at home, and report accidents at nursery. Although the kids spend a lot of time in the garden, especially in summer, they only rarely go for walks outside the nursery itself which is a bit of a shame given the location right next to the park.

Amazing nursery in a beautiful location, right in the park. Our boys absolutely love spending their time there, and we've been with this nursery for over a year now. Kids spend half of their time there at the outdoor playground. Very welcoming and caring staff. The management team is extremely professional
and willing to collaborate on any matter. Our children are safe, well fed, and looked after, surrounded by love and care, learning, developing, and having lots of fun. I would recommend this nursery to any parent without hesitation.

Our twin daughters have loved every moment of their time at Wetherell Nursery. The staff have been kind, patient and nurturing and this has allowed them to grow in confidence.


They've learnt so much at Wetherell, become increasingly confident and made so many lovely friends. The setting so close

to Victoria park is a bonus and I'd have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to anyone.

Wetherell first looked after our son and then, 3 years later, our daughter. They each gained confidence over the time they were there and also loved the outside space. The staff have been great, too. Not only with our children but also in helping us with the government funding that, without their help,
we would have certainly not received. Thank you!

My daughter has been with Hilltops Nursery for nearly 2 years and was struggling with her speech before starting there, she's now absolutely thriving. I couldn't be happier and they've helped her a lot, definitely recommend.

A great little set-up and a fantastic nursery. The children have always had plenty of choice of things to make, do or play with and more is always available to ensure each child is included, the outdoor space is equally as good as the indoor space and the children are regularly encouraged to do activities
outdoors.
The staff are a real credit to the nursery and make it a comfortable and inviting place for the children, even those who are a little less willing! Each child is treated with kindness and respect, and so are the parents.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!

A well supplied little nursery, with a lovely little outside garden area, safe away from any roads and very close to a public park. The team are great. My child has attended this nursery for over 2 years. The overall experience has been very positive.

Really happy with how this nursery is run. Having sent both my children to this nursery; I am confident that my child is left in a safe fun environment where they are able to be safe and comfy. All staff are easily approachable and nothing is ever too much for them. Staff keep me informed of how my

The staff at the nursery go above and beyond individually for the children. Staff are approachable. And ensure an abundance of activities for the children wether it's inside or outside. I am always given and happy with the feedback given for my children. Social skills are very important and it appears

Can’t recommend enough, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds, the staff are friendly and helpful and very attentive to the children’s needs. They keep you updated with their activities weekly, overall very happy with my choice to send my child here.

The staff are very welcoming and always explain to me what they have been up to in their sessions. My son always comes out smiling, his speech has become better throughout and has become more confident and independent. Also, he is always excited to get back to it when we arrive at the school gates.

Brilliant nursery, my child has really come out of his shell since attending. Staff always make sure the children have different fun learning activities on a daily basis. Children do a lot of outdoor learning in their forest school section. Staff are very friendly and accommodate the children's individual
needs. Would highly recommend it.

The nursery teacher is absolutely amazing! Couldn't recommend her enough. When my youngest is old enough, I will 100% be using Finlay. My little one absolutely loved going every day and he still asks about the teacher now.

I am really happy with how my child has settled in with the nursery; she loves the staff and her friends and has come on so well. I worried at first that she wouldn't settle as she was a lockdown baby, but even when she's not feeling 100%, she wants to go.

Wonderful staff. They are so kind and caring. My little boy loved going every day and still talks about the manager even now. It's a nice setting too with lots of resources and facilities. The outside space is huge and the kids get outside every day no matter the weather!

Can't fault Finley Nursery, the manager is an amazing teacher. She goes above and beyond for the children. I would highly recommend Finley Nursery for your little ones to start their new adventure. They do all sorts of activities, get stuck in with all events. I can't thank you enough.

For my son it was not very easy settling at nursery, especially because of the language barrier (English is not his main language) but thanks to the manager and Finlay Nursery staff he started to enjoy the time spent in there.

Lovely staff, who really care for the children they look after. The nursery has lots of different sensory areas for children to be creative and develop their skills, from the soft play to the forest garden. Kids get to be kids in a safe, secure place. Always felt welcome and my child absolutely loved
every day they spent at Finlay Nursery. Was amazing hearing all the exciting new things she experienced, from cooking banana bread to 'going on a bear hunt' or for me to see all the beautiful artwork she had done.
