Explorers Collier Row

My eldest went and he loved it never had any issues he didn’t want to leave. Currently, my other 2 kids go and they both love it so much that my daughter cried to go more days and the manager is so friendly and accommodating and managed to get her in for another afternoon so she goes 4 afternoons a week now and she has come on so much since she has been going. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, my kids all adore them and even my eldest who’s now 6 still gets hugs every time he goes in with me to pick up. When I’ve needed additional sessions it’s never been a problem unless they are full. They do so many activities with the kids and get people coming in to do different activities with them too and they come out of the nursery telling me about what they got up to for the session. Going to be really upset when my youngest leaves for school but I 100% recommend them.

I have a two year old and a six month old in Little Explorers. I could not rate them highly enough. It has a lovely family feel, whilst still having plenty of space for the children to have fun. The love and care shown to my children and myself has been amazing. Every nursery teacher and manager shows genuine love for my children, which means so much to know they are being well cared for. The baby/toddler room is larger than any I’ve known at other nurseries and it is light and airy. The preschool side has lots of different areas to keep them occupied and they are always being creative with making cakes, crafts and even doing science experiments. They also get daily time outside on the different bikes, slides and climbing frames. The app I have found very useful and has been extremely reassuring to be able to communicate effectively throughout the day. I know when they have slept, what they have eaten and get sent photos of them there. Overall, I have been very impressed with this nursery!

My child has been here since she was ten/eleven months old. She loves everyone who works there and has created some special bonds. I’ve never experienced any issues and my child is just about to turn three. The teachers really make the effort to make you feel comfortable and it seems that they really do care about all the children in the setting.

I couldn’t rate Explorers Collier Row enough. My little girl, who is nearly two, is coming on leaps and bounds and the staff at Collier Row have really helped her. She loves going into nursery and to me that proves everything. Great staff and great support.

Fantastic nursery, child settled in really well with support from all staff. Staff on door are really attentive, communicative and knowledgeable and immediately know your child’s needs and their name, likes / dislikes etc. When you walk in you get such a positive and calming feel from the learning environment and the nursery itself is large, bright, clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor play area. Staff go above and beyond and the app is always updated daily with pictures and details of your child’s day, mealtimes etc. Children are exposed to lots of fun learning activities from a young age and after a few months my child has come home learning a range of different new skills that have been supported and learnt at the nursery. I feel 100% safe leaving my child at the nursery and she comes out with the biggest smile on her face. Staff really make this a great nursery and we are lucky to have such a brilliant Nursery in Collier Row.

I cannot speak more highly of Explorers if I tried. My son started in September after attending a childminder for the first 3 years of his life. The growth and development he has made have been incredible. He suffers from speech issues and that has come on leaps and bounds, he is now more sociable and even our friends have commented on his confidence. As an early years practitioner myself I think Explorers are wonderful at nurturing and developing young minds. I shall miss it when my son goes to school in September.

I love Explorers Collier Row. They have done all they can for my daughter with her additional needs and also supported my husband and me. Honestly loveliest nursery and Im so sad for when my daughter starts school and can't come anymore.

Both my girls have attended Explorers over the last 3 years. They have both had very positive experiences, both settled very quickly and their development has been excellent in all areas. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff, always helpful, professional and friendly. You can see that the staff really care for each child, which puts us parents at ease. The Family App is also very useful, it's great to be kept updated. I'm so gratetful to have such an amazing local nursery!

We love the attention and care staff show towards our child and how they respond to our concerns. Our child clearly enjoys attending the setting and is provided with age-appropriate stimulation. The staff keep us updated about any incidents, and the way they respond keeps us confident that our child is safe. The nursery is excellent value for money compared to other settings we had gone to see. We feel our child instantly connected with them when we went to view the nursery. A number of the teachers have just been so amazing with our child, and we are so grateful to have such wonderful people looking after him.

Excellent child care and very friendly staff. Baby is very happy to spend time with Explorers. The family app is very helpful to teach the baby's development and eating routine. Our baby is developing new skills after joining Explorers.

Great nursery, with lovely staff. My daughter has been going to this nursery for two years and has learned so much, she's always coming home telling me how much fun she had and the activities they did for the day. She only has afternoon tea due to her starting in the afternoon but loves the food they provide, the nursery is very clean and the staff always keep you updated when needed. The nursery has loads of great toys learning and sensory for all types of children and a nice outdoor space for the children to play. Would definitely recommend it to other mothers as my daughter has come so far since starting the nursery.

I'm very happy with Explorers Collier Row. I cannot recommend them enough. I love how committed they are to the development and welfare of all the children there. I love how they provide extra curricular activities at no extra cost. They treat my children as their own and treat them with love and respect. I've seen two of my children flourish and grow while there and I'm confident my baby will too.

All staff are very welcoming, they make me as a mother feel that my child is in a safe environment, providing amazing communication with me about my child when he is in their care. I am very grateful for everything the support they provided for my child and me as a parent.

As soon as we went for a visit to the nursery, we knew that it was the place for our daughter to be. Due to covid, we couldn't visit during nursery hours so the manager and owner showed us around on a Saturday morning, which we really appreciated. Even though we could not see the children and staff interaction, we did see the activities set up for the coming week, work, the outdoor area, and resources. As our daughter was only 9 months when she joined, we were very anxious about leaving her but all the staff are so caring and friendly, we didn't need to worry at all. Every single member of staff works their socks off to ensure that the children are happy, cared for, and engaged in their learning. They are always doing creative and relevant activities and we are kept up to date with everything via the app. We are so glad that we have found a nursery close to us that we feel 100% comfortable leaving our baby with.

It has been almost a year since my daughter joined Explorers Collier Row, I am so glad I sent her. I felt she really needed more social interaction with other children and to get used to being looked after by other adults other than myself. She is well loved and looked after, enjoys the food, activities and outdoor space. I can go to work and not have any worries, I can check on the app to see what she’s been up to and what food she has eaten, also nappy changes. Overall I am extremely happy and would not hesitate to recommend it.

This was our daughter's 2nd nursery and she was nervous about starting in a new place. The staff were friendly, accommodating and flexible with her settling period. They got to know her likes and dislikes quickly, supporting her ease of settling. It was evident that she was comfortable with the staff and other children in a relatively short space of time. We were unsure at first about the size of the nursery and worried that our daughter would feel like she didn't have enough space. However, the staff use the space so cleverly, maximising both the indoor and outdoor space. Walks out in the community are also a big selling point, allowing the children more opportunities to learn in the real world as well as a change of scenery. The smaller capacity setting has also been positive, resulting in our daughter and us building great relationships with all the staff and giving her the opportunity to interact with children of different ages helping her communication, independence and empathy.

My daughter has been attending since 9 months of age. Putting her into nursery at such a young age was very daunting but the staff made me feel at ease. After just one day my daughter had settled in, was eating, drinking and sleeping as she usually would at home and was extremely happy. Ever since she has always had the best time at nursery and is always happy there. The staff are incredible with the children and extremely attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I am kept updated on everything throughout the day. There is a lovely family feel in the nursery where all children are able to interact and join in with activities. Children of all ages are able to play with each other and the children form bonds with all of the staff. This has really helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds with her speech at an early age. I have no concerns whilst my daughter is in the care of Explorers Collier Row, and would recommend to anyone in the local area.

I have got nothing but praise for Explorers Nursery Collier Row. The management and all the staff go above and beyond which gives me the confidence to leave my child in their care on a daily basis which in turn enables me to go off to work knowing that my child is safe, stimulated and educated whilst having fun.

It's been just over a year since our son started attending this nursery and I couldn't be happier with the care and education he receives. I feel that they genuinely care about my son, his development and his well being and this is through regular communication and updates about his day, directly or through the nursery app. The staff respect his personality, his wishes and his individual needs, directing and engaging him in the most suitable activities for him, listening to my view, requests or concerns. Regarding the academic education, they deliver an EYFS rich and balanced curriculum in an impeccable way: a very well organised and resourced environment, an array of hands-on activities and events organised for the children, highly professional staff. My son loves his nursery and he very often talks proudly of his nursery and very fondly of all his teachers.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking to enrol their child.
