Monkey Puzzle day nursery provides childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years old.

Situated in a Grade 2 listed building in Uxbridge, London, there are multiple playrooms for different stages of each child’s development. There is also an AstroTurfed garden which includes a climbing frame and racetrack, as well as a safe playpen for smaller children.

Children take part in a wide range of activities that help to develop their social, communication, physical and emotional skills.

My son has been attending MonkeyPuzzle since he was 1 year old and since the first day every single person who works / worked at the nursery has been absolutely fantastic.
Being a mother of a trilingual child, I find it important that he is encouraged to speak his secondary languages. Many teachers
speak multiple languages and they have always been doing their best to support us in our attempts to improve my son's language skills.
There is something amazing I could say about each and every member of the team but my son's love for all of the staff is the best feedback. The fact that he is always excited to go to nursery speaks louder than any words.
Despite being rated "good" by ofsted, the truth is that this nursery is OUTSTANDING.
I'm grateful to the MonkeyPuzzle team for taking such great care of my son and for all their hard work to make the nursery such a wonderful family-like place. Keep doing what you're doing and don't change.

Could not recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Uxbridge enough. Both our boys absolutely love going there. The staff are all incredible and really treat each child as an individual. The cafe they give is second to none. The food is varied, nutritious and always go down a treat with the boys.

An amazing nursery. The staff are wonderful, living and caring. We are never worried when we drop our daughter in the morning, as we know she is in safe hands. When we pick her up after the day she is always so happy and excited. It doesn't matter if she has been there the whole day, or just for morning
sessions, she is always happy. We would not have asked for a better nursery. So glad she is there.

Our son has been in Monkey Puzzle Nursery since a year old. We like the following facts about our nursery:
- that there are different floors for each group of kids. During COVID it proved as a good safe measurement.
- In the toddler section, there is a separate area for the nap time during day time.
- Outdoor area is so spacious and has so many entertainments for any child age.
Every member of staff (across all floors) knows the name of my son. They are very caring and responsive to parents requests. They truly live and practice the statement: home away from home. Very individual approach to each child. Our son is very tactile and he never lacks a hug and proper cuddle from the Monkey Puzzle family.
We get prompt communication about activities kids are doing during the day. We are also encouraged to do the same at home to keep in line with the development.
We would highly highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge.

My son has been at Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge for 2 and a half years and he has always been very happy there. During this time we have felt very supported as a family and safe in the knowledge that our son is well looked after, educated, loved and happy whilst he is at nursery. He has participated in so
many activities that he enjoys including sports, dance, music and Spanish and he has been nurtured through a few key stages of development when he needed to be guided and understood to help his confidence or behaviour. We have never had a cause for concern and the levels of care and service have remained very high throughout this time. The nursery is always well organised, clean, safe, well maintained and the management are professional, caring and available. This doesn't just feel like a business but a very successful and well run family effort in which every member of the community is valued and looked after. I am very thankful to all of the team and cannot speak highly enough of them all.

Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge has such a warm learning environment for children, and I have seen my daughter continue to thrive. The staff are all lovely and show such compassion and care towards the children. I know my daughter loves going to nursery, for the activities, imaginative play, cultural education
and for the friendships she has been encouraged to develop. The management staff are also there to answer any questions you have and are in regular contact with any need to know matters. I have and will continue to recommend Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge.

Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge is beyond excellent. The staff are amazing, super friendly, exceptionally caring, professional, and very passionate about their job and the kids. Our son started at Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge some weeks before his second birthday. It took him a few months to fully settle and to feel
comfortable around other kids. But thanks to the wonderful teachers of Monkey Puzzle, he is getting more and more confident every day and just loves it there.
The management and office staff are super professional too. They are very polite and we usually receive answers on the same day when we sent them an e-mail.
Let me also add that the way the nursery handles the Coronavirus crisis is excellent!
If you are looking for a nursery with caring and professional staff, a place where your child is treated well and where you can have peace of mind Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge is what you are looking for!
We cannot recommend them highly enough!

My little boy started at Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge January 2018 when he was 1 year old. Currently, he is in pre-school and we have seen him blossom, his speech and confidence has grown! He is a character, he’s known for being a bright spark and very funny. I must thank all the staff at the nursery for
all their constant hard work, patience and support.
My son and other children in the nursery’s care are always happy and excited to attend, this makes us as parents feel reassured to know that our children are very happy to be in a learning environment with their friends/peers.
The staff are caring, friendly and loving and I know for certain that my son and other children are well looked after!
The nursery also provides healthy and freshly cooked meals and snacks, it’s great to know the children are eating well too!

We are extremely happy with the service the team at Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge provide and we highly recommend to others. This is reflected in the regular feedback we aim to give. We find each member of the team so welcoming and friendly to parents as well as children. Our child is always so happy returning
from nursery and always speaks so fondly of the staff and other children that attend. Communication is also excellent across the team, whether it be relaying daily feedback, communicating notices or responding to any queries/questions. The staff are genuinely interested in the well fare and development of our child. We are particularly impressed with how the nursery has handled the pandemic over the last year or so. Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge is a phenomenal daycare. From the moment we stepped in, they were immediately warm and welcoming. My son has been going there for 3 years and he has flourished in this 'family feel' environment. The staff are wonderful and are always open for conversation, empathetic, real and
friendly. The day-to-day activities, stimulation and knowledge they demonstrate is wonderful. They work so hard to ultimately foster love, patience and kindness in the children. Most importantly, I don't have to question what type of care my son is getting as I know in my absence he is being loved, nurtured, comforted and allowed to grow, learn and explore in a warm and caring environment every day. We are so extremely grateful that Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge has been a 'home away from home' for my son, as I am sure it's the same for all kids who attend there. My little girl loves it here. She gets to do all kinds of different things and celebrates lots of different events and festivals. One thing that we particularly love is the external sports teacher they bring in weekly - my little girl talks about that non-stop and it has meant we now encourage her to
do sports outside of nursery. She talks so fondly of all her teachers and chats about her friends all the time.

I highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery. My son has been attending the nursery for 3 years ago and he loves it. He makes friends and he loves the staff. Even on weekends, he wants to go.
Staff are very passionate about what they do, and that reflects on the kids. Every day new activities, new
ways to help kids to learn in a funny way.

Monkey Puzzle is an exceptional nursery, and with all these uncertain times they gave my daughter the one thing that kept on going. Having fun with friends.
She has become from a little shy to speak girl to a more confident speaking toddler. They have given her the ability to express herself, and guide
her.
We had already had experience with the nursery from my other daughter who is now in primary school and benefitted a lot from the plays and guidance they have given to her.
Monkey Puzzle makes the food onsite which is a great benefit, so you can be assured that they get the best.
They are the best nursery.

Sukhy Gill – Nursery Owner and Director


My name is Sukhy and I am the proud owner of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Uxbridge. Previously I worked in the Banking industry for over 15 years acquiring a strong financial and management background before taking a career break to raise our two children, Malkit and Harleen. I am very much a hands on mother with a great passion for quality childcare and the drive to run a successful business.


The idea came to me around two years ago when Harleen had just started nursery. I would help out from time to time often taking an active part in activities and taking a keen interest in the way that it was run. I have always taken great interest in my children’s education so opening my own nursery was an opportunity that I just couldn’t pass by.


With my professional and family background, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to make Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge a huge success and a vital addition to the local community. A full time Nursery Manager with the appropriate qualifications will be recruited to manage the day to day business operations, whilst I look after growing the business and managing the relationship with staff and parents.

My professional background is in Transport which is the industry I have flourished in for nearly 30 years and established myself as one of the UK’s leading Chartered Engineers. For the past 10 years I have operated as a Senior Director and have a proven record as an Executive leader to run multiple business units across numerous sectors.


Deciding which nursery to send your child to, especially if it’s your firstborn is a very serious, personal and emotional decision for parents. Our main objective is to make this decision an easier one by providing childcare of the highest quality, within a safe, secure and caring environment.

Being in this role within the nursery, I have a very good understanding of what is needed for the nursery to be a success. My main focus is to support both nurseries in delivering exceptional care and education as well as ensuring compliance of all statutory requirements.

My name is Alexandra and I am the Nursery Manager here at Monkey Puzzle day nursery, Uxbridge.


I have worked in childcare for the last 10 years of which 3 years I have been a Deputy Manager. This is first step nursery manager position and I am very excited about the opportunity this has given me!


I have experience working with all ages in my previous nursery settings and when I joined Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge I started as the Pre-school room leader. The Pre-school floor has come on so much over the last few years and I am looking forward to seeing that same level across all the nursery floors.


In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and spending time with my family. I also have a passion for travelling.
