The teachers and staff are delightful, and the school has such a lovely atmosphere. My son couldn’t be happier, and I can’t thank the teachers enough for how well he has settled. I love receiving all of the online updates on his daily experiences. My son is striving, and I wouldn’t hesitate on recommending this school to anyone!
We couldn’t recommend St Christopher’s enough. Watching our son eagerly waiting by the door to go to school, and then running up the path to go inside is a sight we never thought we would see. The teachers go above and beyond our expectations to ensure the children are not only learning but having fun and wanting to be there day in day out. We couldn’t ask for anything more. We have seen such growth in our son since joining.
St Christopher’s School is a wonderful place for little people. There is something for every child in pre-reception, and the staff have navigated a rather challenging year extraordinarily well.
Our son is very happy here, and he has made lots of lovely friends.
This school does well. My son has a great team and has good, solid teachers. They send activities via the online portal or parents mail in these special times, Covid, so my son can keep going on learning and doing activities over the computer screen. They really have been doing such a great job during these difficult times.
We have our 4th child at St Christopher’s School and for good reasons. The staffing team are exceptional, professional, responsive, kind and dedicated. Our children are cared for as a family, growing academically and pastorally. They are guided with a gentle hand and develop confidence and courage to meet the challenges that face them ahead.
St Christopher’s Nursery and Pre-Reception is without a doubt outstanding. The 18-months were a great success, so we opted to remain in the school after Nursery and Pre-Reception. The nursery stood out straight away when we were looking for somewhere for our daughter. She immediately loved it. We had visited at least nine other places/facilities... and this was definitely the right choice for us. Two years later, we couldn’t be happier. They honestly go that extra mile in the things that they do. I believe they are innovative and stand out from the many other local providers. They have a strong, well rounded management team, the communication is superb and the teaching staff are exceptional, dedicated and enthusiastic. Our daughter loves attending school and has definitely progressed significantly. We are currently homeschooling though due to Covid19 and the platform as well as the numerous other resources are fantastic. I would highly recommend.
I have two children at St Christopher’s currently, and my eldest attended two years ago. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We looked at most of the nurseries in the area, and St Christopher’s stands out by a mile. It has an incredibly high standard of facilities in a lovely setting, and my children love exploring all of the fantastic activities on offer, in particular, riding their tricycles and cooking in their very own kitchen! The nursery teachers are so passionate, friendly and really go above and beyond in getting the best out of each child. I have huge confidence that my children are getting the very best care and start in life. Best decision we’ve made.
St Christopher’s is a wonderful nursery proving a nurturing and an inspiring place for children to learn. The staff are excellent. It is a super foundation on which to start school. Both of my children are extremely happy at St Christopher’s and have made close friends. The parent community is very welcoming.
My thinking was always that at this young age, does it really make a difference where your kids go. At the end of the day, they only start real learning later in life. How absolutely wrong I have been. We have sent our three kids to St Christopher's, and the difference we see is night and day. The methods at St Christopher's really have set up our children to be confident, mature and notably ahead with their learning and abilities. Speech and the general understanding of the world around them will help them with the rest of their lives even at this early age.
Facilities are excellent with multiple rooms that focus in different parts of their learning and development including their own little kitchen, an art room, toy room and lots of places to be creative and let kids flourish. Their outdoor space is also set up superbly well allowing lots of fresh air in all types of weather and lots of ways to explore and find out about the world around them.
Highly recommended!
St Christopher's provides an excellent environment to learn. The range of things that they do is great, from weekly cooking to being outside every day learning through play to learning French, and being part of a school provides a great structure and will make the transition to school so much easier. The staff are great, and I love getting daily updates on the work they have completed and learnt.
St Christopher’s was the only school we had booked to look around as we were not seriously looking. We ended up signing our son up straight after the tour. We just had the best feeling. He has been through the nursery and is going into pre-reception, and it has been fantastic, and he is thriving. The only downside is they can’t stay there forever!
St Christopher’s nursery is a really welcoming and stimulating environment for pre-reception children. Our little girl is so happy and settled and looks forward to going in every day. The setting is lovely and staff are proactive, responsive and energetic - we are delighted with her progress. We also have experience of the school after pre-reception and it is equally brilliant.
Due to a house move, we had to choose a different nursery setting for our youngest child. St Christopher’s is nothing short of phenomenal. The sheer imagination and drive that permeates every corner of this place are remarkable. Our daughter has flourished there.
We have three daughters, all of whom have been lucky enough to attend St Christopher's. From the moment we stepped into the school, we felt it was somewhere truly special, and we have never been disappointed. All of the teachers and support staff are exceptional, the ways of learning and opportunities that are given to the children are incredible. Even during the pandemic, remote learning has been outstanding.
From the age of two and a half, the children are encouraged to believe in themselves and be confident in all that they do, with regular assemblies and occasions to perform. Teaching is tailored to individual needs, and parents are given every opportunity to be a part of their childrens' journey at St Christopher's.
St Christopher’s nursery is such a special place. From the caring and enthusiastic staff to the wealth of opportunities little ones get to experience every day. I love hearing about what my little boy has done during the day and how much thought has gone into each activity. I know how happy he is when he runs in to greet his friends and teachers. Even on the days, he needs that extra attention the staff are amazing and on hand to encourage the best that he can be.
My three children attend St Christopher's. They all love it. They have been taught to be independent and think for themselves. They have been offered the opportunity to choose their learning. There is an immense variety on offer and they have been guided to a wonderful mix of skills to work on through all types of different interactions and play. They are out playing and learning in all weather, and my children have loved this. The team across the nursery and school are incredible. They treat even the youngest like mini-adults rather than babies and really respect the children's individuality. I really like that. They treat the nursery as very much part of the school. This has been great because our children were so used to the system and routines that school was a wonderful progression and something they were very proud to embark on. The nursery and school are exceptional in my opinion, and I would recommend it with the highest conviction.
I cannot recommend St Christopher’s school highly enough. The school always go over and beyond our expectations. Our children look forward to going to school every day, as each day is full of exciting activities. Learning is incorporated into the play, and therefore, the children continue to maintain their love of learning with a sense of fun through to the upper school. As parents, we could not be happier with our choice in school with its fantastic leadership, teachers and staff along with a warm community.
I am so glad I discovered St Christopher's pre-reception. My son loves it so much and always talks about all the things they do learn there, and about his teachers really warmly. He's developed there so well! They have great facilities and many things and activities to choose from. Can’t recommend enough.
