Hi, I’m Alison Astley. I am delighted to be part of the team here at Evergreen Early Years... knowing that a child’s love for learning starts with our youngest children has brought me here to Evergreen.

I am an Early Years Teacher at Evergreen and I lead on Pre-school, the curriculum and SEND. I have been a teacher for over 20 years and have a BA honours degree in English.

My passion is to support children to be confident and happy learners who develop language skills and curiosity through all that they do.

My loving husband loves long walks on the beach and in the woods with our two beautiful daughters and our dog Obi.

Hello, my name is Laura Davy and I am one of the managers here at Evergreen.

I have worked in the Early Years since 1997 so have many years of experience and hold a level 5 in childcare education leadership and management.

My role at Evergreen is to oversee the quality and consistency of the care and learning we provide for all our children across our 2 settings. This includes supporting our team to access learning and development opportunities to develop and enhance their practice. I also lead internal operations and support the nursery owner in wider nursery developments.

In my spare time, I love to read, cycle, spend time outdoors and crochet.

Hi, I'm Charlotte. After spending one year at our Ladyewell setting as the Pre-School Lead Teacher, it is a priveledge to have now joined our Fulwood setting as the Nursery Manager. Part of my role is also to lead our Pre-School, Parent Partnerships and EAL provision across our three settings.

Prior to joining our Evergreen family, I spent ten years teaching and leading across Early Years and Key Stage One in a large primary school.

My passion is centred around providing the best possible start for our children, building strong foundations and supporting their journey into becoming confident, inquisitive and independent learners.

I have two perfect children who I adore spending my free time with, along with the rest of my family and friends. Together we love to laugh and find joy in the small things in life, such as spending time outdoors or sharing our favourite stories.

It is a privilege to be part of a wonderful team here at Evergreen, where nurturing each unique child is placed at the heart of all we do. I very much look forward to the continued adventures that await!

Hi, I’m Mehz and I am the deputy manager here at Evergreen Early Years, Fulwood.

I enjoy working with children and meeting their needs. I have worked in the early years for several years both in the children’s centre and at Evergreen.

I am calm and patient and enjoy working with children to help them progress further.

I enjoy going on walks and exploring new places that I haven’t visited before.

Hi, my name is Amy Chappell. I am a senior practitioner at Evergreen. I also lead in physical development, oral health and the outdoors.

I hold a level 3 in Early Years and have worked here since the nursery opened in 2017.

I absolutely love working with children, helping them succeed in their development and reach their full potential. I have eight years experience of working with children aged between 0-5 and enjoy sharing my knowledge and ideas with the rest of the team.

My hobbies and interests include reading, running, photography and being creative.

Hi, my name is Samira Secretary and I have a degree in teaching and learning.

I love spending time with children, helping them to develop and learn.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and family and I like to travel. I have big dreams for the future and look forward to reaching my goals.

Hello, my name is Kayleigh Dockerty and I am a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner.

I have worked in childcare for the past 4 years as an early years practitioner. My favourite part about early years is watching children thrive and grow into the superhero or princesses they wish to be. I truly believe all children should have the opportunity to experience a fun-filled messy played childhood. A messy child is a happy child!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and keeping fit. I enjoy reading non-fictional books and being creative. I have a cat named Phoebe, a dog named Sif and a hamster named Phil who is loved greatly by myself and my partner.

Hello I'm Mia I am a qualified level 3 practitioner, I enjoy baking, dancing, singing, and finding new creative activities so that children thrive in a fun stimulating environment. I have moved to Preston from London and enjoy working with children and look forward to joining the Evergreen team, I enjoy moving children forward to develop their skills and knowledge.

My name is Heather, and I am an early years practitioner at Evergreen, Fulwood.

I am married and have two little girls. I have four rescue rabbits and a rescue cat.

I am creative and enjoy arts and crafts, especially with my children.

I enjoy the outdoors and being in nature and I often spend time walking in the countryside. I also enjoy running and socialising.

I have recently joined Evergreen as a practitioner.

I have studied early years in my home country of Ukraine and have lived in the UK for the last two years.

My name is Jasmine, I live with my mum, dad, sister and brother.

I have two dogs, Tess and Izzy. I love going out and spending time with my family and friends.

I am enjoying working in the early years and I will soon be starting my apprenticeship. I work with all the children aged 2 to 4 as I am learning and studying.

The best part of working with children is to see them grow and develop.

My name is Lucy and I want to work with children after enjoying a placement I went on.

I am signed up to study my level 2 and have recently joined Evergreen as an apprentice.

Hello, my name is Harpreet. I am privileged to be part of Evergreen Early Years. I hold a Level 3 in Childcare and Education and have been a qualified practitioner since 2011.

I have a passion for teaching and learning, and find it rewarding when supporting children to reach their full potential and love to watch them thrive.

I have a loving husband and two children who I love making memories with. My children attended Evergreen Early Years Fulwood and they absolutely loved it and developed so much in the time they were here.

I love to bake with my children in my free time and spend lots of time with my family outdoors.
