Lots of outdoor play and exercise. Helping them to learn to ride a bike is fantastic and the gym sessions, are such a good idea. Nothing bad to say.
Thank you for leaving us this wonderful review, it means so much to us.
Most fabulous nursery my child has been to! I have three children and this nursery is my favourite. Staff are truly amazing! They take time to get to know your child and you! I can’t recommend this nursery enough. Thank you for helping me grow my child.
Thank you for this great review, it is so lovely to read that we are your favourite!
The activities they provide are fabulous; there's a range of indoor and outdoor activities. The nursery has a great outdoor space which creates curiosity, enhances their gross motor skills and gives them a space to enjoy messy play! The food menu is varied and caters for all needs. There's a choice of snack throughout the day and a water station. The contact with parents is great. We get a detailed handover on every collection about the day. We couldn't be happier about the service at Evergreen Early Years (Fulwood). Five stars.
Thank you for saying such wonderful things about your experience with us, it means so much to us.
Our experience and journey has been amazing with Evergreen. From dropping our daughter off on day one to graduation, the support, input and help has been amazing. Our daughter started off shy and reluctant and now has built bundles of confidence and looks forward to going to nursery. Staff, environment, facilities, interaction with parents and much more is an 'a' star. Outstanding and highly recommend! Thank you.
Thank you for this wonderful review, we will miss you all!
Both management and staff are very professional and trustworthy. As a parent, I have been welcomed into the setting many times to engage with staff and get to know them whilst undertaking themed activities for the children eg: teddy bears picnic, reading week, Halloween etc. This helped me build a rapport with the team and work together on enhancing my daughter's learning journey.
The setting feels homely, clean, safe and is full of fun and happy children and staff. They provide healthy meals and snacks throughout the day and encourage basic table manners and hand hygiene by socialising together around the dinner table, under staff guidance.
Both my daughters have loved their time at Evergreen Early Years and miss the staff. I, as a parent, hold the setting with high regard and will certainly recommend it to other parents looking for a local leading provider, where the children always come first.
Evergreen Fulwood is a wonderful setting. The staff are so welcoming and my little girl really feels at home attending, which brings me as a mother so much comfort knowing she's at a setting where she feels happy, safe and mostly is in the best hands. I look forward everyday to hearing all about her fun-filled day.
My son enjoyed going to this nursery every day. It was a great experience for him. It really helped him to improve his communication skills as he had some language delay. I definitely recommend this nursery.
My son loved his time at Evergreen. The staff were supportive and helped him make good progress. The transition steps for getting ready for primary school were also done well and with care. There was always a nice range of activities to suit children of all interests.
My daughter started the nursery in April 2022 and loves it here, it’s great to see her grow in confidence. We viewed lots of nurseries and immediately felt Evergreen Early Years Fulwood was the best for her. The staff are wonderful too.
This is a wonderful nursery full of friendly caring staff. Face-to-face updates are provided as well as pictures posted on the app. Fantastic facilities in and outdoors including an outdoor classroom. Low turnover in staff which creates consistency for the children. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
Great nursery. Very friendly and professional staff. Regular updates are provided in person and on the app. I have never had any issues and my kids love it. .
My son loves this nursery, we chose it because we feel like it is the best environment for him with it being small and catering for older children. He fit in perfectly and gets plenty of attention while he is there. The staff are always friendly and professional and seem to enjoy turning up for work. There is loads of outdoor time and a focus on messy play.
My daughter has recently moved to Evergreen. I can't believe how much she enjoys attending nursery. The staff are always friendly and report how she has been during the day, what she has eaten and what she has done during the day. She enjoys being able to learn whilst playing. I can't thank the team enough, I feel reassured when she is under their care. Thank you.
We started in April, and since there have been no concerning issues. One incident did take place, however, this was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the head.
It is fantastic that they spend so much time learning outdoors and the Forest School sessions and adventure walks enhance the great provision. My son comes home with muddy hands nearly every day and enjoys telling us all about what he has learned (fractions this week).
The staff are outstanding and will try a number of ways to get the best out of each child. When my son broke his arm a couple of months ago, staff went out of their way to ensure he was included in all of the activities, whilst keeping him safe. They even managed to keep him from running around and playing tag, which must have taken an awful lot of explanation, distraction and patience.
I can highly recommend Evergreen Queens Drive as an excellent nursery and we will be very sad to see our son "graduate" from Preschool soon.
Extremely happy with all the staff at Evergreen. My son moved there 5 weeks ago and settled in straight away, he loves going to nursery and is always busy with lots of different things every day to entertain him and progress his learning. The manager is regularly sending emails out to keep parents updated on what’s going on in nursery and staff give a great handover at the end of every day. Always there to help and answer any question.
Friendly staff. My little one settled at the nursery after 2 full sessions. Staff is well trained and handle situations very well. Attractive place.
My child has down syndrome and I was very anxious about him starting nursery. However, the staff are fantastic and made me feel at ease. He loves every session with Evergreen. Cannot fault anything. Highly recommend.
All the staff at Evergreen are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Both my children who have attended this nursery have been referred to SEND and have got the help they have needed to develop as individuals because of them.
I have been very impressed with every aspect of the care that my son has received at Evergreen. My son has been thoroughly supported in his development in terms of numeracy and phonics in readiness for school. He has been provided with varied play opportunities and has been able to develop friendships with the other children. All of the teachers are very caring towards the children.

Hi, my name is Alison Astley, and I am an Early Years Teacher at Evergreen Early Years. I lead on Pre-School, the curriculum, and SEND.
I have been a teacher for over 20 years and hold a BA (Hons) degree in English. My belief that a child’s love for learning begins in the early years has led me to work at Evergreen, supporting our youngest children at the very start of their learning journey.
I am passionate about helping children to become confident, happy learners who develop strong language skills and a natural curiosity through everything they do.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including long walks on the beach and in the woods with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog, Obi.
Hi, my name is Laura Davy, and I am one of the Managers at Evergreen.
I have worked in Early Years since 1997 and bring many years of experience to my role. I hold a Level 5 qualification in Childcare Education, Leadership, and Management.
My role at Evergreen is to oversee the quality and consistency of the care and learning provided across our three settings. This includes supporting the team to access learning and professional development opportunities to enhance their practice. I also lead on internal operations and support the nursery owner with wider nursery developments.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cycling, spending time outdoors, and crocheting.
Hi, my name is Charlotte, and I am the Nursery Manager at our Fulwood setting. I also lead on Pre-School, Parent Partnerships, and EAL provision across our three Evergreen settings.
After spending one year at our Ladyewell setting as the Pre-School Lead Teacher, I was delighted to join the Fulwood setting as Nursery Manager. Before joining the Evergreen family, I spent ten years teaching and leading across Early Years and Key Stage One in a large primary school.
I am passionate about providing children with the best possible start in life, building strong foundations, and supporting them to become confident, inquisitive, and independent learners.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, along with family and friends. Together we love spending time outdoors, sharing stories, and finding joy in the small moments.
It is a privilege to be part of such a wonderful team at Evergreen, where nurturing each unique child is at the heart of everything we do.

I enjoy working with children and supporting their individual needs. I have worked in Early Years for several years, both within a children’s centre and here at Evergreen.
I am calm and patient and take great pleasure in helping children to progress and develop further in their learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy going on walks and exploring new places that I have not visited before.
Hello, my name is Jackie, and my role at Evergreen Early Years is Family Engagement Lead.
I joined Evergreen in February 2026 after having been at a local Primary School in Preston for the past 26 years, where I was a Family Support Worker. Within that role, I have supported many families who have been facing difficulty but who also just felt they needed a listening ear and somebody to talk to. I have also supported the children in school with their learning in many ways.
I decided to move over to Early Years as I felt that I needed a new challenge, and I was lucky enough to obtain my position at Evergreen.
I have two grown-up children, a daughter aged 35 and a son aged 31. I also have a 6-year-old granddaughter. I love family time and making lots of memories with them. In my spare time, I make sure that I continue with my hobbies, which include walking, reading, crochet/knitting, puzzles, yoga, crafts, and baking.
Within my job role, I love that every day is different, and I hope that I can support and make a difference to the families of Evergreen Early Years.

In my free time, I enjoy baking with my children and spending lots of time outdoors with my family.
Hi, my name is Jasmine, and I am an Early Years Apprentice at Evergreen.
I am really enjoying working in the early years and will soon be starting my apprenticeship. I currently work with children aged 2–4 years while learning and developing my knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, I live with my mum, dad, sister, and brother. I have two dogs, Tess and Izzy, and I love spending time with my family and friends.
The best part of working with children for me is seeing them grow, learn, and develop each day.

Outside of work, I am married and have two little girls. I also have four rescue rabbits and a rescue cat, which we love caring for as a family.
I enjoy spending time outdoors and being in nature, particularly walking in the countryside. I also enjoy running and socialising in my free time.
Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I am a Nursery Assistant at Evergreen Early Years.
I have always worked in care and went on to study nursing for a year before leaving to have my children. During this time, I discovered how much I love spending time with children, which inspired me to begin my journey in Early Years.
I am passionate about supporting children in their learning and development, and I look forward to gaining my Level 3 qualification in the future.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our three young children. We love going to the beach for walks and enjoying whatever fun activities the children choose.
My favourite part of working in Early Years is building strong relationships with the children and watching them develop, grow, and gain confidence.
My name is Lucy, and I want to work with children after enjoying a placement I went on.

Hi, my name is Katey, and I am an Early Years Apprentice at Evergreen.

Outside of work, I live with my mum and brother. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends.
My favourite parts of my role are seeing the children smile and planning fun, engaging activities for them.

I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence, supporting their individual needs, and celebrating their progress as they learn new skills. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the children at Evergreen and being part of their early learning journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, walking, and spending quality time with my family. I am very proud to be a mum to three wonderful children, who are my world.
It is a pleasure to be part of the Evergreen team, where every child is supported, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
Hi, my name is Fiza, and I am part of the Business Administration Support team at Evergreen Early Years at all three settings.
I have a background in running my own business as an aesthetic practitioner, which gave me strong experience in administration, organisation, and working closely with people.
I was drawn to the Early Years Sector because I value the importance of supporting families and creating a well-organised, positive environment.
At Evergreen, I support the nurseries with administrative tasks, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, I’m a mum to two wonderful girls and enjoy spending quality time with my family.
I love knowing that the support I provide helps our nurseries focus on caring for children and families every day.
Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m part of the Central Admin Team supporting all three settings.
I’ve worked in a variety of administrative roles over the years, including running my own business for 10 years, which gave me a strong foundation in organisation, communication and supporting teams.
I have two young daughters who have both attended Ladyewell since they were nine months old, so the nursery is very special to our family. Outside of work, I enjoy going for walks with my two dogs and making memories with my family, especially during holidays in Cornwall and the Lake District.
