Evergreen enriches the lives of children to laugh, learn, love and grow.

Evergreen was established in September 2017, opening its first setting in Fulwood. The settings are designed to feel like a home from home, whilst also providing the very best care and education for all children. Fulwood has 2 open plan rooms where children ages 2 to 4 years can explore and a large outdoor area which can be accessed by the children freely.

Evergreen is family run and they pride themselves in always striving for excellence in their approach to early years education, which in turn positively influences children's daily lives and prepares them for school and their life ahead.

The team has a strong set of core values and principles that they have developed as the ‘Evergreen Way’ and these are fully embedded and drive all that they do at Evergreen. The main aim always being that Evergreen wants all children to be happy, confident and believe they can achieve their potential.

On two occasions, Evergreen has been awarded national recognition for their early years practice, which they are very proud of. More recently the owner and senior early years teacher have been identified exemplars in early years and furthermore invited onto the lead practitioner programme for Lancashire, which leads the development of high-quality practice within Lancashire’s early years.

Great pre-school. Lovely staff, educational. Impressed with the amount of activities and the thought which has gone into each one to progress the children. The staff know the children individually and really good knowledge of them. My daughter loves it and gets upset if I pick her up early!
Lots of
outdoor play and exercise. Helping them to learn to ride a bike is fantastic and the gym sessions, are such a good idea. Nothing bad to say.

My daughter has been attending Evergreen for one year now. We are so happy with her experience. She took a while to settle in and has been emotional at times, but the staff are so nurturing and have calmed her down. They have all built up great relationships with our daughter and she loves going to
nursery and talks about the staff at home.
The activities they provide are fabulous; there's a range of indoor and outdoor activities. The nursery has a great outdoor space which creates curiosity, enhances their gross motor skills and gives them a space to enjoy messy play! The food menu is varied and caters for all needs. There's a choice of snack throughout the day and a water station. The contact with parents is great. We get a detailed handover on every collection about the day. We couldn't be happier about the service at Evergreen Early Years (Fulwood). Five stars.

Our experience and journey has been amazing with Evergreen. From dropping our daughter off on day one to graduation, the support, input and help has been amazing. Our daughter started off shy and reluctant and now has built bundles of confidence and looks forward to going to nursery. Staff, environment,
facilities, interaction with parents and much more is an 'a' star. Outstanding and highly recommend! Thank you.

I have had a very positive experience of Evergreen Early Years. Both my girls have been to this provider since the age of 2 and have benefitted from all the activities that have been on offer. For example, the staff engage the children in lots of play to develop their learning, both indoors and outdoors,
as well as ensuring the children can engage in self-directed play with lots of areas set up to generate their creativity and imagination. Role play stories, board games, construction, dance, mud kitchen, balance bikes and gardening are just some of the activities that my children enjoyed here. I feel Evergreen Early Years provides children with the skills and knowledge they need to develop further and thrive as they move on to Primary School. They employ a qualified teacher to provide excellent learning and development for children of pre-school age. This has really helped my daughters transitions onto primary school with ease. They have both been supported to create learning journals during their time at the setting, tracking their learning and work on areas to develop.
Both management and staff are very professional and trustworthy. As a parent, I have been welcomed into the setting many times to engage with staff and get to know them whilst undertaking themed activities for the children eg: teddy bears picnic, reading week, Halloween etc. This helped me build a rapport with the team and work together on enhancing my daughter's learning journey.
The setting feels homely, clean, safe and is full of fun and happy children and staff. They provide healthy meals and snacks throughout the day and encourage basic table manners and hand hygiene by socialising together around the dinner table, under staff guidance.
Both my daughters have loved their time at Evergreen Early Years and miss the staff. I, as a parent, hold the setting with high regard and will certainly recommend it to other parents looking for a local leading provider, where the children always come first.

Evergreen Fulwood is a wonderful setting. The staff are so welcoming and my little girl really feels at home attending, which brings me as a mother so much comfort knowing she's at a setting where she feels happy, safe and mostly is in the best hands. I look forward everyday to hearing all about her
fun-filled day.

My son loves this nursery, we chose it because we feel like it is the best environment for him with it being small and catering for older children. He fit in perfectly and gets plenty of attention while he is there. The staff are always friendly and professional and seem to enjoy turning up for work.
There is loads of outdoor time and a focus on messy play.

My daughter has recently moved to Evergreen. I can't believe how much she enjoys attending nursery. The staff are always friendly and report how she has been during the day, what she has eaten and what she has done during the day. She enjoys being able to learn whilst playing. I can't thank the team
enough, I feel reassured when she is under their care. Thank you.

My son has been attending the nursery since September 2020 and loves it there! He has changed into an outgoing and chatty boy, who enjoys seeing his friends and teachers every day at nursery.
It is fantastic that they spend so much time learning outdoors and the Forest School sessions and adventure
walks enhance the great provision. My son comes home with muddy hands nearly every day and enjoys telling us all about what he has learned (fractions this week).
The staff are outstanding and will try a number of ways to get the best out of each child. When my son broke his arm a couple of months ago, staff went out of their way to ensure he was included in all of the activities, whilst keeping him safe. They even managed to keep him from running around and playing tag, which must have taken an awful lot of explanation, distraction and patience.
I can highly recommend Evergreen Queens Drive as an excellent nursery and we will be very sad to see our son "graduate" from Preschool soon.

Extremely happy with all the staff at Evergreen. My son moved there 5 weeks ago and settled in straight away, he loves going to nursery and is always busy with lots of different things every day to entertain him and progress his learning. The manager is regularly sending emails out to keep parents updated
on what’s going on in nursery and staff give a great handover at the end of every day. Always there to help and answer any question.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.631) out of 10 for Evergreen Early Years - Fulwood is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 11 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 11 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.856 for Evergreen Early Years - Fulwood is calculated as follows: ( (114 Excellents x 5) + (17 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 132 Ratings = 4.856
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.775 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Evergreen Early Years - Fulwood is based on 11 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 = 3.775
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 40 number of registered child places is 8, which has been reached with 11 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hi, my name is Fiza, and I am part of the Business Administration Support team at Evergreen Early Years at all three settings.

I have a background in running my own business as an aesthetic practitioner, which gave me strong experience in administration, organisation, and working closely with people.

I was drawn to the Early Years Sector because I value the importance of supporting families and creating a well-organised, positive environment.

At Evergreen, I support the nurseries with administrative tasks, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, I’m a mum to two wonderful girls and enjoy spending quality time with my family.

I love knowing that the support I provide helps our nurseries focus on caring for children and families every day.

Job Title: Business Administrator Joined: 2025

Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m part of the Central Admin Team supporting all three settings.

I’ve worked in a variety of administrative roles over the years, including running my own business for 10 years, which gave me a strong foundation in organisation, communication and supporting teams.

I have two young daughters who have both attended Ladyewell since they were nine months old, so the nursery is very special to our family. Outside of work, I enjoy going for walks with my two dogs and making memories with my family, especially during holidays in Cornwall and the Lake District.

One of the things I love most about my role is working alongside such a wonderful team. Everyone is so enthusiastic and passionate about helping to shape young minds in the early years, and it’s a privilege to support the important work they do.

Job Title: Family Engagement Lead/Administrator Joined: 2026

Hello, my name is Jackie, and my role at Evergreen Early Years is Family Engagement Lead.

I joined Evergreen in February 2026 after having been at a local Primary School in Preston for the past 26 years, where I was a Family Support Worker. Within that role, I have supported many families who have been facing difficulty but who also just felt they needed a listening ear and somebody to talk to. I have also supported the children in school with their learning in many ways.

I decided to move over to Early Years as I felt that I needed a new challenge, and I was lucky enough to obtain my position at Evergreen.

I have two grown-up children, a daughter aged 35 and a son aged 31. I also have a 6-year-old granddaughter. I love family time and making lots of memories with them. In my spare time, I make sure that I continue with my hobbies, which include walking, reading, crochet/knitting, puzzles, yoga, crafts, and baking.

Within my job role, I love that every day is different, and I hope that I can support and make a difference to the families of Evergreen Early Years.
