Kindred Salisbury Nursery and Pre-School

We have had a wonderful experience at Kindred. Our twins started here last October after a move down from Manchester. I was a little worried about them settling as they were 20 months and used to their old nursery but they took to everything as if they’d always been there thanks to the wonderful staff. They keep us really well updated, we get lots of photos and information about their day, they do lots of different activities, have plenty of outdoor play and the staff are really kind, caring and you can see the children love being with them. I would recommend the nursery to anyone, the setting is also so lovely and full of interesting things, and a perfect size. We are very happy indeed.

Our little one has been going to Kindred for nearly a year. The staff have all been really friendly and made it easy for him to settle in (they were very happy to keep his nap routine which was a relief). I love how they update me with photos and comments of what activities he's been doing and its always a nice mix of outside play, singing, painting, sensory etc. The facilities always look clean and he comes home clean and tidy and dressed appropriately for the weather. Their communication is always quick and clear. He also must enjoy the food as he always eats everything! I honestly have nothing negative to say as its been a really great experience for our little one and us!

We started looking for a nursery for our daughter, and nowhere had the “wow” factor or felt like the one. Then I came across Kindred and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! Everything about Kindred is just what you want in a nursery, they have really helped my daughter blossom and I’d 100% pick Kindred again for when my son goes to nursery! Staff are lovely and so friendly too which is an added bonus.

Our child has been attending Kindred Salisbury for the past 8 months. We are so pleased we chose this nursery. It has a home-from-home feel and the staff are wonderful. We are sent regular communication about progress and weekly pictures where we can see all the varied activities he gets up to. He spends lots of time playing and exploring outdoors and comes home having learnt something new most days! Would highly recommend.

We love everything about Kindred Salisbury. Our daughter loves going to nursery and settled incredibly quickly. The staff are all so warm and caring. They know and understand her so well, it’s very reassuring. The communication we get from her key worker and the wider team is also great. We love seeing the little updates on what she has been doing, from ballet class on Mondays to the little problem solving exercises they do.

Our son loves his time at Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School. He settled in really well and the communication and helpfulness of the staff is fantastic. They go above and beyond, even helping my son make a birthday card for his big sister.

We love Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School. The staff and management are so friendly and have really helped our son to settle in well to the nursery, he loves going, seeing his friends and doing all the great activities like identifying bugs in nature, science experiments, painting and walks to the Forest School. The staff always communicate really well with us about how his day has been and what he ate for lunch and they are so approachable. We could not be happier with our choice of nursery. Thank you.

I have had two children attend Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School since they have been small babies and they have settled and transitioned between rooms and staff really well. The nursery have always been happy to accommodate extra hours around my work too, which has been incredibly helpful. The staff are really friendly and give me a good handover of the day, as well as regular posts on the app. They cover a really good range of outdoor, indoor, musical, crafty, messy and 'learning' activities. My children always look forward to going in and always come home happy, which I think speaks volumes.

I have one daughter in The Nest Baby Room and one in The Swans Preschool Room and I can't recommend the nursery enough. Both settled very quickly at Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School from the age of eleven months and absolutely love it. They spend a lot of time outdoors, are encouraged to be creative and explore activities they really enjoy. There is a great range of structured learning and open-end play. As a smaller nursery setting, the children all have a lovely bond and the staff really care for and nurture the little ones. Both of my daughters have thrived at Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School, both developmentally and socially. Being able to interact with children their own age has been especially invaluable during the pandemic and the staff have provided a safe and happy environment for them. Both girls are always excited to go into the nursery and often ask to stay longer, they also love the food provided!

We have two children at the nursery, aged two and four. They both love spending time there, no tears at drop off. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. They take great care of both our kids as well as supporting them in their development and keeping us informed of their progress. We get photos and stories shared with us daily through the app, so we always know what is going on and they have been incredibly flexible and professional in their response to the pandemic.

My daughter has recently started nursery at the beginning of the year. She has settled in amazingly and has come along development wise really well. I enjoy the app and being able to see her observations and what she has been up to, especially when I am away with work. She always comes home happy.

My daughter has settled into nursery amazingly and loves coming to nursery. Staff keep me well informed about how she has been throughout the day, couldn't ask for much more. Good range of activities set daily, my daughter especially enjoys the messy activities and being outdoors. I love to see what she has been doing through the Famly app.

This is a wonderful nursery. My son has settled so well here. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, and they clearly care so much about the children which makes all the difference. They have been especially great over the past 6 months which have been difficult for everyone. Thank you Kindred Salisbury.

My daughters have settled really well thanks to friendly staff, great resources and good communication despite all of the restrictions this year due to Covid-19. Love the Family app and all of the information and updates shared there. The girls love the staff and their keyworkers too. Thank you to all staff!

We would like to say a big thank you, our children adore the staff and get up to all kinds of fun activities! The environment is always clean, fun and stimulating and the staff are always smiling! A big thank you from us to you!

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 12 months now and with the support and attention she receives there she has blossomed into a lovely caring, sociable little girl. The staff are incredibly attentive and dedicated to making each day interesting and stimulating. The environment feels safe, secure and welcoming, with lots of little areas outside for exploring. Mealtimes are well structured. My one and only criticism is that there is no holiday allowance. However, saying I like the flexible and accommodating ethos of the nursery and I always highly recommend the nursery and lovely team there to anyone who asks!

They are flexible to her routine and they have been very accommodating during the coronavirus pandemic.

We really enjoy seeing updates and photos on the Famly app, as well as getting updates in person when we see the staff at pick up. We have confidence in the staff and feel they are very supportive and take any concerns we have seriously. We have always felt very happy leaving our son in their care.
