Kindred Salisbury nursery is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Salisbury is an Ofsted Good (May 2022) rated nursery located within the beautiful grounds of Leehurst Swan Independent Day School in Salisbury. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years. It is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (with session times to suit your needs).

The nursery is in a beautifully converted, open-plan building, with an impressive large outdoor space and Forest School.

The team are passionate about loose parts play and follow a Reggio-inspired approach to learning and development.

Our son really enjoys going to nursery. The staff are warm and welcoming and his day is full of fun and games. He has a lot to tell us about what he's been up to. We enjoy reading the weekly summary and seeing photos. He also enjoys the lunches provided and is able to have a good nap during the day.

Kindred offer a safe and caring environment, where the children are encouraged to play and learn. Our little boy loves the staff and comes home every day, full of excitement and stories of the fun he has had. We love that he is encouraged to interact with a wide range of games and toys and be creative
with paints, textures and colours. The children spend lots of time outside, learning to play with others and being imaginative. We are very happy that we made the decision to send our son here.

My two children have recently joined this setting and settled very quickly. It is nurturing and provides lots of opportunities for development. My daughter loves the weekly ballet lesson! The staff are wonderful and the office team are great at communication too. Highly recommend.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery! Every day we get great feedback on her day and loads of photos of all the fun activities! The staff are all kind, warm and friendly and know her so well. She's made some lovely little pals and plays outside lots, which she loves! The staff have always

My son goes there every day and loves the staff and kids. Could not expect more from those ladies!! Was a bit nervous at the beginning but he loves people and he already has lots of friends. Staff always helping and trying their best, would recommend to everyone.

Both my children go to Kindred Salisbury and they are so happy there. The staff are all so lovely and friendly and keep us updated daily on what they have been doing that day. Both children took a while to settle and would cry on drop off but they were immediately taken off me for a hug and it didn't
take long before they skipped in. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery has been so warm and welcoming since my twin boys started at the setting. The communication has been excellent with regular updates and efficient responses to emails that I have felt reassured and confident in their care. Staff are always so friendly and approachable which
has really helped with settling my boys in to the setting.
The nursery is definitely child-centred and focuses very much on individual interests to aid development. My boys get very excited about their days at nursery which is lovely! The app is brilliant for keeping parents informed. I would strongly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our little boy has been attending this nursery since January 2022 and we couldn’t be happier. All the staff have been lovely and very welcoming. It is such a nice feeling to see him happily walk through the gate and know that he is very settled.

We have had a wonderful experience at Kindred. Our twins started here last October after a move down from Manchester. I was a little worried about them settling as they were 20 months and used to their old nursery but they took to everything as if they’d always been there thanks to the wonderful staff.
They keep us really well updated, we get lots of photos and information about their day, they do lots of different activities, have plenty of outdoor play and the staff are really kind, caring and you can see the children love being with them. I would recommend the nursery to anyone, the setting is also so lovely and full of interesting things, and a perfect size. We are very happy indeed.

Our little one has been going to Kindred for nearly a year. The staff have all been really friendly and made it easy for him to settle in (they were very happy to keep his nap routine which was a relief). I love how they update me with photos and comments of what activities he's been doing and its always
a nice mix of outside play, singing, painting, sensory etc. The facilities always look clean and he comes home clean and tidy and dressed appropriately for the weather. Their communication is always quick and clear. He also must enjoy the food as he always eats everything! I honestly have nothing negative to say as its been a really great experience for our little one and us!

We started looking for a nursery for our daughter, and nowhere had the “wow” factor or felt like the one. Then I came across Kindred and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! Everything about Kindred is just what you want in a nursery, they have really helped my daughter blossom and I’d 100% pick Kindred
again for when my son goes to nursery! Staff are lovely and so friendly too which is an added bonus.

Our child has been attending Kindred Salisbury for the past 8 months. We are so pleased we chose this nursery. It has a home-from-home feel and the staff are wonderful. We are sent regular communication about progress and weekly pictures where we can see all the varied activities he gets up to. He spends
lots of time playing and exploring outdoors and comes home having learnt something new most days! Would highly recommend.

We love everything about Kindred Salisbury. Our daughter loves going to nursery and settled incredibly quickly. The staff are all so warm and caring. We love Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School. The staff and management are so friendly and have really helped our son to settle in well to the nursery, he loves going, seeing his friends and doing all the great activities like identifying bugs in nature, science experiments, painting and walks
to the Forest School. The staff always communicate really well with us about how his day has been and what he ate for lunch and they are so approachable. We could not be happier with our choice of nursery. Thank you.

I have had two children attend Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School since they have been small babies and they have settled and transitioned between rooms and staff really well. The nursery have always been happy to accommodate extra hours around my work too, which has been incredibly helpful.
The staff are really friendly and give me a good handover of the day, as well as regular posts on the app. They cover a really good range of outdoor, indoor, musical, crafty, messy and 'learning' activities. My children always look forward to going in and always come home happy, which I think speaks volumes.

I have one daughter in The Nest Baby Room and one in The Swans Preschool Room and I can't recommend the nursery enough. Both settled very quickly at Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School from the age of eleven months and absolutely love it. They spend a lot of time outdoors, are encouraged to
be creative and explore activities they really enjoy. There is a great range of structured learning and open-end play. As a smaller nursery setting, the children all have a lovely bond and the staff really care for and nurture the little ones. Both of my daughters have thrived at Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School, both developmentally and socially. Being able to interact with children their own age has been especially invaluable during the pandemic and the staff have provided a safe and happy environment for them. Both girls are always excited to go into the nursery and often ask to stay longer, they also love the food provided!

We have two children at the nursery, aged two and four. They both love spending time there, no tears at drop off. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. They take great care of both our kids as well as supporting them in their development and keeping us informed of their progress. We get
photos and stories shared with us daily through the app, so we always know what is going on and they have been incredibly flexible and professional in their response to the pandemic.
