Our youngest child joined Seahorse at 9 months old based on recommendations from friends as to the care their children had received. We were initially worried to have him join at such a young age, but the staff have been incredibly patient and welcoming with him. He was quick to settle (quicker than our eldest child with another provider) and enjoys the range of activities he is participating in on a daily basis. We have seen significant leaps in his development in a short space of time and look forward to watching him grow in a safe and welcoming environment.
The preschool year was especially valuable in preparing our eldest for the transition to primary school. We noticed a real difference in his confidence, independence, and readiness to learn. The variety of activities on offer, including tennis, Mr Ed Music, and Forest School, gave the children fantastic opportunities to explore new interests and learn through play.
Watching both of our boys grow in confidence, make wonderful friendships, and thrive during their time here has been so special. We are incredibly grateful to all of the staff for the love, support and care they have shown our family over the years. Thank you.
The nursery offers a fantastic range of activities and enrichment programmes, including French, tennis, and Forest School, which our son thoroughly enjoyed. He looked forward to going every day, and we always picked him up happy, excited, and full of stories about his day.
We are so grateful for the care and support he received and would highly recommend this nursery to any family.
The environment is calm and nurturing, with a lovely balance of structured activities and free, imaginative play. Our eldest particularly loves forest school, where time outdoors has sparked her creativity, and both girls have thrived on the art, crafts and messy play on offer. The staff are consistently kind, patient and caring, and have gone above and beyond in so many ways, including supporting us through potty training.
The daily app updates are great to give an insight into your child's day and something to chat about with them when they get home. The nursery also puts real effort into marking special moments throughout the year: sports day, photo day, Mother's and Father's Day celebrations which are good fun and the children prepare for and get excited about.
We're sad to be leaving as our eldest starts school, but she is more than ready given seahorse motto
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Seahorse nursery. Both of our children have attended and we've always been impressed by the caring and dedicated staff and welcoming environment. It's been wonderful to see our children grow in confidence whilst there.
Our baby daughter joined Seahorse Nursery at 10 months old and it was the best decision we could have made for her from a care, development and happiness perspective. The staff in the Starfish Room, and the wider Seahorse team, have filled us with confidence from day one. They have formed a beautiful relationship with our girl which is evident every time we drop her off and pick her up. We also appreciate the special events which Seahorse run for the children and their parents, like Father's Day and Mother's Day breakfasts, Sports Day and much more. We are grateful to everyone at Seahorse for the time, energy and love which they continue to put into our little one.
We needn't Have worried as the staff are excellent at what they do, genuinely caring and nothing seems to phase them. When we drop him off in the morning, he strolls in and sits down for breakfast. At the end of the day when we pick him up, he wants to stay because he loves it so much!
We can see his confidence growing every day and he's just so happy!
The activities and learning opportunities are brilliant and we know our son is learning new things all the time.
We would recommend Seahorse to anybody- the whole team are amazing!
Excellent nursery, caring staff and amazing manager at the Wimbledon Park branch of Seahorse. Our son loved it and learned so much. We particularly appreciated the nursery's approach to any difficult behaviour (like biting or fighting which all toddlers do), as they sought root causes for it and supported through the change. They also help identify strengths in each of the children and make them grow and develop.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! Your kind words mean a lot, and we love hearing how happy you are with the nursery. You've been such wonderful parents to work with, thank you for all your support. We can't wait to welcome your litle girl into the Seahorse family.
We recently left seahorse Wimbledon park after 4 full years. Both of our children attended nursery there and we were very sad to leave. My daughter had a wonderful experience throughout and left ready for reception. We always felt that she was loved and cared for. We were so impressed with how the teachers tried to ensure her learning was tailored to her growth so that she never felt bored, even after 2 full years in the reception room. She loved it. Unfortunately we had to move our son awa, due to logistic reasons and it was truly sad for us. He absolutely loved and adored his teachers and we felt the same for him in return. He asks about them regularly! Seahorse felt like a loving and nurturing environment and we were very happy for our children to have been there!
Thank you so much Scott for your review. We loved having P & A at the nursery and hope they both thrive in their next places of education. It was wonderful to have you with Seahorse.
Our son joined Seahorse just after he turned two, and he's in the Sea Turtle room. We were a bit nervous at first about how he would settle but the transition was smooth thanks to the lovely teachers and staff. His key worker is amazing and he absolutely adores her.
The team in his room are all so warm, caring, and patient and it shows in how happy and confident he is when we drop him off and pick him up.
There are plenty of activities during the day and the children seem well engaged and enjoy a nice variety of things to do. We've also found the support with things like potty training and routines really helpful, as it has made a big difference for us at home too.
Overall, we've had such a positive experience with Seahorse. It's a lovely place with a wonderful team who genuinely care about the children. We feel really lucky that our son gets to spend his early years here.
Dear G, thank you so much for your absolutely wonderful review. We enjoy having O with us at Seahorse and hope to see him thrive even more throughout his time here. Best wishes, Carly
Seahorse is outstanding nursery where all staff and teachers are professional and caring every child with love. Our daughter has been there for two years and loved to go there so much and even asking to go to nursery during weekends and holidays. The waiting list was long but considering the quality of care and education your child will receive, it is totally understandable and worth to wait. Our daughter was in different nursery for a short time and we were happy with them but as soon as started Seahorse, the difference was clear. Seahorse teachers are educators and everyday they prepare several purposeful as well as fun activities for the group of children. There are daily and termly feedbacks which are detailed and structured so that you can track how your child develop in different area. I strongly recommend Seahorse as it was wonderful to be part of and we feel it was a great gift to send our daughter there.
Thank you so much for your review. It was a pleasure to have your family with us at Seahorse Nursery and we wish M all the best.
My daughter started at Seahorse nursery in July 2024 aged 1. She attends 4 days a week and absolutely loves going each day. The staff always welcome her affectionately and she has no problem saying goodbye to me in the morning! They have taken time to get to know her and it's clear that each child is appreciated for their individuality within the caring nursery community. There has been a wide range of activities which are well thought out and has helped her in her early years development. The nursery staff are very sensitive, responsive and channels of communication with the family are excellent. I would absolutely recommend Seahorse nursery to any parent!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so happy to hear how much your daughter enjoys coming to Seahorse Nursery. The staff love welcoming her each day, and it's been great to see how much she has grown and developed. Thank you again for your kind words which I will pass on to the team. You are a very special family to have and your support and trust means so much to us.
Moreover, they run systematic daily programs such as forest walks, singing, arts and crafts, and so on. These activities are perfectly suited to young children, so my son loves them. The nursery also uploads lots of photos to the app, allowing us to see what he's been doing at nursery. It helps us talk with him about his day at home.
Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We're so happy to hear your child became a fan of the nursery and enjoyed his time in Seahorse Wimbledon Park. We wish him all the best in his further learning journey!
I've never once felt anxious dropping them off in the morning as I know they are in the best of hands. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to give their child a happy and accelerated start in life. Thank you!
Thank you for your lovely review. We will be sure to pass your review onto the team. We are grateful to have taught your children at Seahorse Nursery!
Food, curriculum, care staff, and facilities all brilliant.
Very flexible with busy parent schedules. Easy for children and parents to make friends. Very good and timely updates during the day in the app, including privately available photos.
Warm and friendly atmosphere, well embedded in the local community.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! Your kind words mean a lot, and we love hearing how happy you are with our nursery. Seeing your son grow and thrive makes us so proud and it's a joy to have him in our setting. We're so grateful for your support and can't wait to welcome the new addition to the Seahorse family!
Our son has been at Seahorse Nursery Wimbledon Park (Starfish Room) since March 2024. The staff are friendly, caring, fun, knowledgeable and supportive. We get updates on an app, showing what our son is up to. We also get a detailed summary from the teachers when we pick him up. The activities are varied (baking, music, yoga, reading, drawing, walking around the park, messy play) and the themes change every term. The nursery invites parents over fot key dates (Mother, Father, and Grandparents' days, but also Sports day, Splatter Matters day, and a day where parents can make a class demonstration). The nursery has recently offered a First Aid course for parents, which was extremely helpful. We've also been able to meet other parents in the area and arrange play dates. Seahorse Nursery is where our child spends most of his time every weekday, and so far, we're very happy with it and feel like partners in his development. Area for improvement: buggy storage.

A really stimulating environment, with a well thought out curriculum and excellent delivery. The kids love it and an amazing place for them to build friendships.
The relationship the kids build with the staff is clear to see as well.

Both my kids, aged 2 and 4, love going to nursery in the mornings. They have been going since they were babies and I have always felt that I left them in very capable and loving hands. The staff there are wonderful and really care about your child. They do various stimulating activities. From science experiments to tennis lessons and art, I am often amazed by the things they learn and feel that they do much more with them within a day that I ever would've been able to do with them at home.

My child settled into Seahorse Nursery incredibly smoothly and quickly, which was such a relief as a parent. The staff in the room are absolutely wonderful-genuinely caring, kind, and attentive to each child's needs. They create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and comfortable. The nursery offers a fantastic variety of activities every day, ensuring that children are engaged, stimulated, and learning in a fun and interactive way. Communication with parents is outstanding, with regular updates on my child's progress and daily experiences. I always feel well-informed and involved in my child's development. I would recommend Seahorse Nursery to any prospective parents looking for a caring, supportive, and enriching environment for their child.

Not only have my sons been cared for and nurtured they have grown in confidence and developed into well-rounded little people. The activities that they provide from Forest School to French to all the themes and holidays that they really go all out celebrating is second to none. It has been a joy to send my children there and we really will miss them when my son graduates.
