On the whole, our experience at Chestnuts Barnwood Day Nursery has been a good one. With the pandemic, take over and subsequent staff churn, it proved to be a tricky time for all involved. Recently, I have found that some of the staff a bit standoffish and will only engage if it suits them....
Now we have a new manager, things inside the nursery are changing for the better, lots of improvements and procedures put in place that we've been asking for, for a long time. My child is really happy at the nursery and had made many friends. Thank you everyone for looking out for my child, it means the world.

We have sent our son to this nursery since he turned 1. Shortly after, there was a change in management and throughout the upheaval, the staff have shone through their dedication to the children in the face of difficult conditions. Recently the main garden has been refurbished with fake turf however, the remaining gardens are still grass/mud, helping keep a balance between a good play space for running around while still having more natural spaces with plants.
