Our son is very happy at Chestnuts Barnwood Day Nursery. The staff are all so friendly and clearly know my son very well and care very much for him. He always talks enthusiastically about the fun activities he has done at nursery and the lovely ladies looking after him. We are so glad we chose Chestnuts
and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for all you do.

We have sent our son to this nursery since he turned 1. Shortly after, there was a change in management and throughout the upheaval, the staff have shone through their dedication to the children in the face of difficult conditions. Now he is in preschool and we are so happy we stayed with Chestnuts
Barnwood Day Nursery.
The rooms and equipment are all in good condition with continuous improvements in the play areas as well as the building and streamlining pick-up (such as dedicated ringers for different rooms).
There is a much stronger management presence which helps everyone succeed and there is a constant feeling of care and kindness with lots of activities planned for the children. I have also been impressed with the food that is available throughout the day.
Recently the main garden has been refurbished with fake turf however, the remaining gardens are still grass/mud, helping keep a balance between a good play space for running around while still having more natural spaces with plants.

Excellent nursery!
My son moved from another nursery after an awful time there. He settled in well and we noticed an almost immediate improvement in his development.
The staff are welcoming and know every child's name, regardless if they care for them or not. The staff also support parents with
regular updates, tips and advice for home and give good quality handovers.
The nursery itself is full of exciting and fun activities for all children - they cater to all children's interests. Staff concentrate and plan based on each child as an individual but bring them together as a group to share interests.
I couldn't wish for my son to be looked after by a better bunch.

My son has the best team in the 1-2 years room, the affection they have for him, the attention, dedication and didactic activities, where the money can't pay for that.
It's been like this since the baby's room.

Amazing and very friendly team! Senior management are very informative with updates. My daughter is very happy within the environment! Can’t fault them!
My only issue is with car parking - I know they have gained access to the church car park opposite recently but there is no safe crossing place on
a busy main road.

My son has been to this nursery for just over two years now and he loves it so much. Every morning he expresses to me how excited he is to go to nursery to see his friends, eat his favourite foods and play with all the toys. Recently they have refurbished the garden and it looks phenomenal. I love how
structured the days are and how amazing all the staff are at updating me on how he is getting on.
