I have been bringing my granddaughter to Banana Moon Day Nursery Hamilton since September 2020. I can say hand on heart it's absolutely amazing. The staff are all truly wonderful and my granddaughter has come on in leaps and bounds. She loves going every week and has taken to all the staff so well. They have a great food menu too, so plenty to cater to all needs. All-round an excellent nursery!

I am so so glad I have chosen this nursery for my son. Friendly staff who really make sure my son is having an amazing time. My son has learnt a lot being here. If there are any improvements as a parent, you want for your child, they really work with the parent and voice any concerns in an extremely professional and friendly manner. The security is fantastic and there is someone near the door and safe security measures for your child. Excellent all round.

I’m so thankful that we found Banana Moon! I have 2 children who attend 5 days a week. Our eldest is very shy and I was very worried about how he’d settle into this new setting (especially taking Covid into account) but the team have been amazing. I always feel kept up to date and that my child is being cared for very well in a clean, safe and stimulating environment.

My nephew goes to Banana Moon and I must say it is such a lovely place, my sister was very apprehensive about him starting but it was very clear from his first day he had the most amazing time. From the little updates she gets about his day on the app and the wonderful themed days they do everything has been such an easy carefree process. He has made lots of little friends in the Mini Moons room and the staff have all been so wonderful! On the days I pick him up he’s always so happy and it’s quite a job to get him to leave. Thank you all for doing such an incredible job!
My daughter who is age three joined here after relocating to Leicestershire in November. The nursery team have been great in helping her settle in, which she quickly did. The facilities are excellent, and the care the team take to get to know each child and their needs is clear. The nursery is really open to parent feedback, which is really welcomed, especially with them being new, and more importantly, they act to help improve their offering and your child's development. The parent app is brilliant, reassuring to see photos and updates and mark milestones. I would expect nothing but excellent service all around, with this being one of the more premium nurseries charging at the higher end of the scale. I can only see this nursery improve even further as they become more established.

Amazing nursery and a very good team! My daughters been attending here since January 2021, she settled straight in and absolutely loves it. She’s constantly talking about her lovely teachers, her friends and how busy she’s been all day. The parent app is fabulous, I get photo updates daily on what she’s been doing, eating and learning. The nursery is very well maintained, clean, spacious and full of toys! I would definitely recommend Banana Moon Day Nursery Hamilton to anyone. Keep up the good work!

The parent app is amazing as at the end of each day we get a log of what has been happening throughout the day with photos of activities when he's had his lunch/dinner, when his nappy been changed, how long he sleeps for etc. This has put my mind at ease. You can also ring in throughout the day to check on how they getting along and the management and staff are very helpful as they will give you an update over the phone.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, its only been a couple of days for my son but he seems to be loving it. Thank you, Banana Moon.

Very caring and lovely staff. My daughter enjoys and loves going to Banana Moon Day Nursery Hamilton. The nursery is very well maintained and clean. The app is very good and I used to get day to day updates of my child with pictures. My daughter has made lots of friends. I am happy to send my daughter to nursery and feel that my child is in safe hands and secure whilst in Banana Moon Nursery, even in the current COVID-19 as the extra measures have been put in place.

The staff and manager are very polite and understanding and help to settle children in very well if they don't want to go, as my son was like this and now he loves it. He goes in with no crying, it's excellent with this and I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My little girl started Banana Moon nursery in September 2020, with being a first-time mum I was so nervous and apprehensive on what to expect. All the staff was so friendly and helpful and eased my nerves of leaving my daughter. Banana Moon app through the day put my mind at ease, the photos are amazing as I can see she’s having a lovely time. Management are very helpful, no query is never too big or small. I would highly recommend this nursery to anybody. My little one runs in smiling and comes out smiling what more could I ask for.

Meet the Team (6)
Gemma has over 20 years of experience in the Early Years Sector, 10 being in Leadership and Management.
She holds a Level 3 Early Years Qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Language Lead Accreditation and many more vital training courses. Gemma is very passionate about being a critical part of the children's first years at nursery.
Gemma is a strong leader who thrives on motivating her team to provide exciting, outstanding, teaching and learning opportunities for the children in our care.
Kayleigh is our Deputy Manager and Baby Room Leader. She has been in childcare for 19 years, and a Deputy for 4 years.
Kayleigh holds many Early years Qualifications, such as Paediatric First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and many more. Kayleigh is also our Nursery SENCO officer.
Kayleigh wanted to start her journey in the Early Years Sector because she has a passion for providing children with a caring, nurturing environment that enables them to grow and develop into confident and independent children.
Kelsey has been at Banana Moon for 3 years now and she is our Duty Third in Charge and Teenie Moons Room Leader.
Kelsey holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Paediatric First Aid. Kelsey holds lots of other crucial Qualifications, ie, Child Protection, Food Hygiene, safeguarding and lots more.
Kelsey is also our Nursery Well Being Champion. She is very passionate about not only the children and families well being but our staff's too!
Lisa is our wonderful nursery cook, she has over 20 years of experience in cookery and holds both Level 2 and Level 3 Food and Hygiene qualifications as well as other essential training including allergen awareness, First Aid and Safeguarding Children.
Lisa has a passion for cooking and loves to provide fresh cooked meals for our little ones, she also loves to bake special treats for our staff team too!
Amy has over 17 years of experience in the early years sector and over 10 years of management experience. She holds the Early Years Teacher Status and a BA Honours Early Childhood Studies Degree at Level 6. Amy also holds Level 2 & 3 qualifications in early years education as well as many other vital courses and training i.e. Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding. She has a passion for working with children and has done so since a very young age. She thrives on leading a team to create a high-quality and outstanding learning environment for children to flourish.
