My child has been attending the nursery since September (11 months). She settled into nursery straight away and looks forward to going nursery. When I pick her up, the nursery staff tell me how she’s been and what she has been up to. I am able to see most of this through the app which I like doing.
My child loves the food at nursery and the menu (vegetarian) is great for her! All the baby room staff are very friendly, especially the room leader and the rest of the team. I am always greeted with a smile! If my child has an injury (inevitable - she is exploring and learning to walk) nursery they always ring me to tell me. They also double check on the cctv to double check accidents and how it happened. The managers are always happy to try to help my request for additional days if I need them but sometimes this isn’t possible due to staffing. I’m very happy I chose this nursery for my child and I know she is having a great time and is safe when she is there. Thank you!

Had a very poor experience in the babies room for my child. They made no effort to help settle my child in, hiding behind the Covid excuse and recommended just leaving my baby to cry all day as they'd eventually stop. What happened to wanting kids to enjoy their time at nursery? My baby also came away
with visible injuries everyday, which were only once reported to me after I kept asking what had happened. I've no idea how they had such big bumps, given I've never had them so bad at home through all the time they fall over and bump themselves! Staff lied to me about how my baby was doing, saying they were doing well, when it turns out that they cried the whole time. I could see that the manager of the babies room just liked to promote herself. I obviously pulled my baby out as soon as I realised what was really going on behind closed doors, but they destroyed a little piece in my baby that trusted people.

Removed our daughter due to safeguarding concerns. She had four head injuries within a three-month period when she was under the age of nine months old and non-mobile. Every time she had an injury we got two or three separate versions of events from various members of staff that we spoke to throughout
the day.
On the last occasion, a GP asked us to attend hospital as her behaviour and toileting was off and she had a spiked temperature. This was after the nursery downplayed the incident massively, thankfully she was ok. She became a very different child after that incident and we made the decision to withdraw her immediately. The nursery had the cheek to try and charge us for the notice period until we threatened head office with reporting them.
She would also constantly come home with a sore bum, having only one or two changes in nine hours! I brought it up on several occasions.
Very negligent care. Lost count of the number of accident reports I saw being signed at pick-up.

I can only speak about my experience of this nursery and it has been an awful one for us. My child has been in the baby's room for the last four months, and we have had to pull her out due to a continuous poor level of care. I don’t even know where to begin with the issues but red bottom, upset when
we pick her up (doesn’t cry at home and is a super happy baby), covered in food/dirt/snots when we have collected her, poor communication from staff and especially in relation to holidays and room changes, no personal touch with regards her development. The list could go on. Her Key Worker has been the only staff member who has really given us a personal touch and provided a high standard of care but unfortunately, the continuous issues have outweighed the want to keep her there. That combined with increasing fees when we’ve never even been able to see inside the nursery due to still not allowing parents in because of covid. I would definitely not recommend this nursery to friends and family.

You could not choose a better nursery to go to! The staff are amazing with everything they do! My little girl loves it and argues with me on a weekend about how she wants to come in! The resources they play with are out of this world! My girls fave is the large interactive tablet! Each room has its
own outdoor garden, so the children always get access to an outdoor area! My girl has attended since it opened, and as a mother working full time, they put me so much as ease; she has come on leaps and bounds! And the food, well, she eats better than me at the restaurant! A massive shoutout to the manager and her staff, they help me with any problems that I have, and have ensured that the COVID procedures are sky-high what takes a massive weight of your shoulder during this pandemic. I couldn’t recommend any higher; they truly are the best. Thank you to all the staff at Kids Planet Worsley for everything you do!

I initially visited a number of nurseries prior to this one and was pleased with their COVID policy about wearing face masks and apron during my induction around the nursery. It is a modern building with great security. Space was important for my child and I was pleased to see they had lots of room
for play and children were allowed outdoors in reasonable weather (in supplied puddle suits if necessary). My child could run around and let off steam in a safe environment. My child has been at this nursery for around 6 months so far starting in toddlers and now in pre-school. I was pleased to see how well the staff supported my child in the transition and how they greet every time with a warm welcome and by name. The added bonus of seeing my child’s development on a database and what has been eaten and how much, photo updates and the learning of new skills is also encouraging.

Love this nursery. Was very nervous sending my first baby at only 10 months old, he was definitely one of the youngest and after airing any concerns I had with the manager and with my baby’s key person, after a few months, he was more than settled. Unfortunately, Covid then hit and we had a while away
from the nursery and he started again in September. Now, more wise and having spent a lot of time only with us over the last few months he really struggled settling in again, but we persevered - the nursery again supporting and helping along the way and I think we’re nearly there with him actually looking forward to going! I love how they update you on the app and tell you generally how his day has been when collected. He always seems happy now when I collect him, and I think they’re improving his socialising skills and they provide the sort of playtime and enjoyment that he would not be able to get at home. I’m so happy he goes and couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you!

Terrible nursery, do not use! My child obtained a serious injury at this setting by a child who I was informed was on 1-1 when it happened (I’d already rung up when she got home from her previous day at nursery as she was covered in scratches on both arms, neck and face (complete with nail marks in
her face). Apparently, none of the staff had noticed these but informed me they know who has done it and he is on 1-1. Within an hour of my daughter being around this child in her next day at nursery, she was bitten on the face complete with around 6 teeth marks that had broken the skin. Despite my complaint to the nursery regarding this, they seem to have missed the point and not taken anything on board to ensure this doesn’t happen to any more children going forward and jumped on the defence. I’m not usually one to write complaints and reviews but I feel like when I looked for nurseries for my daughter, I would have rather read honest reviews.

I couldn't have picked a better nursery for my little girl to go to. All the staff made her feel very welcome with happy faces and lots of activities for her to do throughout the day. My little girl grew with confidence at this nursery and they definitely had her ready and prepared to start big school
in September. She still talks about nursery and misses the staff and her friends. Would definitely recommend.

My little boy has been attending the nursery for almost 12 months. He is so happy and settled and has made lots of friends. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and work really hard to ensure all the children’s needs are met. There is always plenty of information passed on about my child’s day
at pickups, as well as the updates on the app.

My little boy started over a year ago now and is so happy here. The staff are amazing and so caring and understanding. Our little boy is shy, and the nursery has recognised that and worked with him to help him to come out of his shell.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are all friendly and helpful and I feel very happy leaving my child there. Having spent 5 months of her life with only her parents taking care of her during lockdown we were worried about leaving her with anyone else as she is not used to other people let alone being left
with them but the staff are great and made us feel much more at ease about leaving her there, we watched her on camera during her settling in sessions and the app tells us about her day and reassures us that she is doing ok and not upset.
She has allergies that I’m completely happy with how they manage with regards to food.
Overall a fantastic nursery.

Couldn’t wish for a better nursery to send my little girl too. The staff are so highly committed to ensuring my daughter learns, has fun, builds relationships, meets all her new milestones (potty training etc) and meets her basic care needs, all whilst keeping her safe all day. She loves this nursery
and the staff too. I have also made great relationships with the staff and drop my daughter off with ease and no worries as I know she's in the best hands.
I cannot thank everyone enough and would highly recommend the nursery to others.

This is a lovely nursery which I highly recommend. We chose to move our son for his final year due to location and we know it was the right decision. All the staff are lovely, approachable and very supportive and he has settled so well. He has grown in confidence and they have most definitely assisted
in his development and prepared him for going to school in September.
Our 2nd child is soon to start and we are confident she is going to be cared for well.
Thank you to you all for all you do.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.885)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.885) out of 10 for Kids Planet Worsley is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 32 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.885 for Kids Planet Worsley is calculated as follows: ( (341 Excellents x 5) + (36 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 381 Ratings = 4.885
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Kids Planet Worsley is based on 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 130 number of registered child places is 26, which has been reached with 32 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

My Early Years adventure started in 2009. Since then, I have completed many early years qualifications, including a Level 3 CASHE Childcare and Education, Level 5 Leadership and Management and Level 3 Award in SEND.

I have worked in childcare for 15 years. I started as a student and worked my way up in the same company to the deputy manager. During my career, I have worked hard to gain my Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications to improve my knowledge and understanding within the childcare sector. I am also a fully qualified SENDCO with a Level 3 award in SEND, and this is one of the best aspects of my job to help support the needs of children and families with additional needs. I have also supported 2 other settings with SEND support.

I have worked in all rooms and with all ages, and I have trained lots of teams in my career to become leaders and encouraged them to believe in themselves. I support staff wellbeing as this is highly important and ensures that staff feel they can come to me so we can solve any issues or concerns together. Communication is key with parents, team members and myself to ensure a positive, caring environment for our children.

My first priority is to build on connections with staff families and children.
