Kids Planet Canal House

We are so happy with Kids Planet Canal House. Our little boy started just after his first birthday and has always enjoyed his nursery days. The team are super passionate about providing a fun and engaging environment for all the children with themed days and unique activities. The staff feel like an extension of our family who truly understand our little boys personality and help to care and support him in the same way we would.

We have had great experience with Canal Day House Nursery (Now Kids Planet). All the staff members have been very kind and helpful throughout. Special thanks to a specific member of staff who was very supportive during the days when our child was a bit cranky coming to the Nursery in the mornings. That really helped us get past that time. Thank you.

This is my second experience with Canal House Nursery. My eldest went a few years ago and LOVED it. My middle child now goes and youngest will be joining in a few months. I really love this nursery - all the staff are so welcoming and friendly, my children enjoy going in and love all the different activities they do. I love how there is a focus to play outside and the forest school aspect of it. I also how they focus so well on dietary requirements and try to be as inclusive as possible - my child who goes now is quite fussy her eating and they always plate her food in a way that she'll eat and offer alternatives that she'll eat, if she doesn't eat. She was also quite shy so became attached to certain key workers and they ensured she went to those certain key workers when first attending nursery. Overall I'd greatly recommend this nursery to anyone, keep up the fab work guys!

I like how small and interactive the nursery is. They encourage outdoor play with forest school. My child has been for walks down to the canal, to the park, to the library etc etc. I love how to they take dietary requirements into consideration. They'll give food and if my child does not eat they will find an alternative.

Canal house is by far the best nursery ever. Everything from the staff, the environment and the overall care that every child gets is outstanding. Everyone I know wants to send their child here because of the amazing reputation they have. The manager is phenomenal, he provides a safe space for children, staff and parents and has such a good relationship with everyone who enters canal house. All of the staff are amazing and have made me feel so comfortable taking my daughter here every day, she has she best days ever! Couldn't recommend enough x

Kids Planet Canal House is outstanding, the staff go above and beyond for every child and parent in the setting. No matter how big or small of an issue they will always point you in the right direction or advice you otherwise!

I've sent all three of my children here and two have gone off to succeed in all of their subjects in their schools that's all from the help of Canal House and their staff for always going the extra mile and in with helping the children to succeed and learn basic phonics and numbers.

Canal House hasn't just been a nursery for me and my children but it's also been a family that welcome you in with warm smiley faces in a morning, and always more than happy to go the extra mile.

Canal House is excellent in every respect, but it is worthy of being recognised above all other excellent nurseries as the best day nursery, because every child is treated in the same way a parent would treat its own; with unconditional love

My child has been coming since being 6 months old and from day one the staff have gone out of their way to reassure me that she is settled and she is happy. I receive updates via the app frequently and it is so lovely to see how happy she is. The staff go above and beyond to make sure my daughter is thriving and are always available for a chat if I have any questions. I love how much my daughter loves nursery and cannot recommend this setting enough!

After researching several nurseries and considering recommendations, I visited multiple settings before choosing Canal House. The difference in care, environment, and support was immediately noticeable. Canal House is a Forest School nursery, which offers exceptional outdoor learning opportunities. My daughter has flourished in the separate baby cottage, which provides a peaceful and nurturing environment. She struggled initially, but the team offered additional settling-in sessions, and daily updates gave me reassurance. The staff at Canal House are kind, passionate, and dedicated. They work hard to ensure every child's well-being and development. Although I was initially concerned about the nursery joining a larger company, I now see that the team has maintained the special qualities that make Canal House stand out. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole team and the care they provide.

When we have difficult times, the staff has been there with support every step of the way.
