Beautiful nursery set in the heart of Haddenham

Bright Horizons Haddenham offers six light and spacious individual rooms that have been tailored to each age group. All the room environments are designed to be flexible, allowing children to safely explore and flourish while building a lifelong love of learning. The Nursery has great commuter links by road and rail, adjacent to Haddenham and Thame Parkway Station and not too far from the M40 and A41.

The nursery's tranquil separate outdoor garden for babies gives opportunity to discover, learn and safely play with their little friends. When it’s time for a nap the calming baby sleep room is the perfect space to feel safe and secure; ready for the rest of the day.

The nursery provides beautifully designed external play areas for toddlers and preschool children with a fantastic water wall feature – great for those summer days!

Bright Horizons' Ready for School Programme designed by its expert early years team prepares children for school transitions; children will graduate from Bright Horizons Preschool ready to have more fun developing their reading, writing and mathematical skills.

Children will benefit from nutritionally balanced menus; the on-site chef freshly prepares all the food and can cater for everyone’s needs.

The nursery was recently given 'Outstanding' in it's recent Ofsted report (December 2023).

Would rate this nursery 100 stars out of 5 if I could! Really incredible facilities - I have one in the baby room and another who has been in the nursery from 1-2’a, 2-3’s and now pre-school so have experience of all their rooms. The attention, care and opportunities for little ones really blow my mind!
The staff here are one of a kind, everyone is so caring and kind to the children and parents - I’ve had experience with other nurseries before Bright Horizons in Haddenham so know they are exceptional. The key workers are always going above and beyond to ensure the happiness and development of my children. The management are also so accommodating and supportive - they know exactly what’s going on with every child (and actually parents too!) you feel you’re leaving your children in safe and nurturing hands that you never have to worry about them.

My daughter goes to two nurseries and loves Bright Horizons Haddenham Day Nursery and Preschool! She loves the staff members and is always excited to go in (more so than at her other nursery). I could not recommend Bright Horizons Haddenham more strongly.

Our son joined Bright Horizons Haddenham Day Nursery and Preschool in September 2023, as we were worried about his development in his current childcare setting.
When we visited the nursery, we got an instant feeling of a calm and caring environment with what seemed to be very happy and content children
and a great variety of activities that they took part in.
Our little boy has come on leaps and bounds since being at nursery, across his speech, motor skills and general development.
The team are also amazing, nothing is too much for any child, the love and devotion they have to make sure they reach all of their needs and requirements while having fun is next to none.
The nursery was a game changer for us and our little boy and we can't recommend it enough to anyone who is thinking of enrolling their child.

We love the nursery and so does my daughter. The staff are always so kind and supportive, welcoming and always know where my child is/what she's been up to. She is always delighted to go into her room and enjoys going into some of the other rooms to play with the bigger boys and girls too.
We get regular
pictures, development updates and activities to do at home to support her ongoing learning. The menu is very varied and supports our dietary requirements with a wide range of veggie options. The rooms are bright, large and always look spotless.

All the staff at the nursery are amazing, my little girl has been going since she was 10 months old and from the moment I went to view, I felt at ease, they all have the children's best interests at heart and are just amazing!
The whole nursery is super clean and tidy and the food always sounds amazing.

Great staff who seem to know every child's name, even if they don't work with them directly. Our girls are very happy there, which for me removes the anxiety of leaving them in the care of others. A very friendly place with management I believe in. Having only opened 18 months ago, everything is bright
and (relatively) new. I would wholeheartedly recommend to friends or family.

All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the leadership team are great.
As a brand new facility, everything is very clean.
The app is great, keeping tabs on what your child has eaten/done every day is straightforward and the team proactively share useful information and updates.

Very friendly, caring nursery with a lovely team and good facilities. Children and their grown ups are always made to feel welcome! There is not as much outside space as some nurseries but the children seem to have plenty of chances to use the space they do have. It seems very calm and well structured
at the nursery as well.

Simply the most amazing place to send both my daughters. The relationships they have formed, both with friends and their teachers is something special. They go in happy and come out even happier. I will be very sad when my eldest goes to school next year. I wish she could stay forever.

Fantastic nursery/preschool. My daughter has loved every day she's spent here for the past year. The staff are brilliant, very attentive, caring, and clearly have the best interest in the children's development. A variety of nutritional food is served throughout the day. It's nice to see what my daughter
has had to eat and how much of it via the parent app too. The whole setting is perfectly clean, miles ahead of any other nurseries we had considered. Very happy daughter and parents!

I have a daughter at preschool and a son at nursery, both at Bright Horizons in Haddenham. The manager and her team are always so happy and friendly and clearly love spending time with the children. The facilities are beautiful and kept very clean. The children are always taking part in a variety of
activities and really love attending. It feels very much like a big family who truly cares for one another, and is a lovely place to be.

A lovely nursery that clearly has the children's development in mind. Great communication from very caring staff. It is clean, crisp and modern with what appear to be good facilities/equipment. The food is varied and interesting. The only negative for me is the outside playground is in full view of

I’ve worked in childcare for over 13 years, starting as a nursery nurse and quickly progressing to become part of the management team.


I’ve worked in a range of both client & community nurseries in Oxford and more recently have been managing a nursery in Warwickshire. During my career I’ve been lucky to have worked in various settings, this has given me a wealth of knowledge, and experiences and has enabled me to lead passionate teams who strive to provide outstanding care and education to all children.

I have been working within the childcare sector for over 30 years and still feel as passionate today as I did when I first started my career, all those years ago. As a mother with grown-up children and a Grandmother, I know how important it is to have a place where your children are safe and secure, within a caring environment.

My qualifications include a Degree in Childcare and Education a level 3 in Child Psychology Diploma and a SENDco Diploma level 4.


Children’s mental health and wellbeing is something that inspires me - I enjoy helping to create an environment, where children are stimulated, can thrive and are nurtured to develop both strong minds and bodies -Vital skills that will help them throughout their lives.
