Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere

Our little boy loves going to nursery. The current management are excellent at communicating and make sure the nursery is well run. Staff in the rooms are always motivated, kind and caring. They run regular stay and plays where parents can go in and play with the children and meet the staff. Meals are generally good. There is limited outdoor space but they make the most of what they have. There is a reasonably high staff turnover but I think this is pretty common in these settings. We feel confident that our little boy is well looked after.

The staff at the Nursary are fantastic and seemed genuinely caring. My son really enjoys going and loves all the different activities they do with him. The food seems really good as well and he seems to enjoy it. Overall think it's a fantastic Nursary.

I feel the nursery has been a great place for my daughter to thrive and learn. She is always so happy after a day at nursery and she always tells us stories of her friends and teachers. She loves doing crafts and gets to do this alot at nursery. I'm happy with the feedback I get at the end of every day and the progress I can see in my child.

The staff in the youngest group are now mostly qualified. The level of staff qualification doesn't affect the quality of care. In general, I'm very satisfied with the care provided by my child's key carer. The staff are very creative and the children do a lot of art etc.

Overall communication is poor/needs work between staff. I make the same requests numerous times but seem to have to say it to every person individually. Communication between payment/corporate and site also seems lacking. As an allergy child, I would like to know more about food specifically when I ask due to concerns/reactions with my child. New room didn't read my child's allergy plan/medication.

I noticed since month one how my little one learns, for example, he could sit up in a small chair and he runs to put his bib on and started eating solids and a proper menu thanks to the nursery.

Lovely nursery, lovely staff and our little one loves going. She's been at Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere Day Nursery since she was only a few months old and has flourished. I highly recommend Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere, will be a very sad day when our little one leaves for big school.

My son loves it at Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere Day Nursery. The staff are very caring and I know my son is in safe hands. He's been there for several months and I've seen him learn and develop a lot. He does lots of different activities, including playing with trains (his favourite!), painting/art, going in the garden, reading and singing. The nursery offers a great menu with lots of different foods and is able to accommodate my son's dairy allergy. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

Highly recommend! Brilliant nursery, love the updates we get of our children, knowing that they are having a good day by seeing pictures and notes is great. My son seems happy now he has settled and seems to always be happy when he is picked up at end of the day after a fun day. Love the chance of adding extra sessions now and then if needed with ease. Very happy! We feel safe leaving our son in their care and are happy they will keep him happy and safe throughout the day which is the main thing.

The manager and the team at Busy Bees Day Nursery are simply wonderful. After I had a shock cancer diagnosis, the manager did everything in her power to support us and our girl; her compassion and practical support were so greatly appreciated. The team in Bombos 1 and 2 are engaging, kind and very supportive of the children. Our daughter has come along leaps and bounds since attending Busy Bees - she seems to learn something new every day. We can not praise the team at this nursery highly enough.

Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere always has my child’s best interests at heart. The staff are always friendly and willing to help with any questions I’ve had. It’s clean and well kept. I feel we are updated often with the emails sent out and most of all my child loves it. Would recommend to other parents.

Amazing service, amazing staff. My son loves going and they are amazing with him. As a parent, I feel reassured that he’s in safe hands. Having learning and development sessions, along with caring staff members, who really get to know the kids.

My little boy joined in September and absolutely loves it! The team have been fantastic since our journey started, showing love, care and support every day. The management are amazing, they have great relationships with the parents and are always available if ever needed.

I couldn't be happier with my daughter's nursery. The staff are great, very welcoming and caring. The nursery's centre director is fantastic at keeping us on track and always tries to meet our needs and expectations. My daughter is happy to be dropped off every morning, she's well looked after and seems to be loving it as well. One of the best things I have come across is the online platform that is being used to keep parents updated on their child's day, with notifications and pictures or snapshots of what they've been up to throughout the day. This makes a big difference when you have a full-time job, to know exactly what your child has been doing, instead of waiting for an update at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

We are so happy with the care, support and learning our child receives at Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere. Our child has grown in confidence hugely, and this is down to the nurture and support from all of the staff. Communication is fantastic and the management are approachable, helpful and very supportive. The fees are a lot, but they are comparable to any nursery providing this level of care. You cannot put a price on being confident that your child is being well looked after. I would recommend this nursery to anyone considering.

I have found my experience really good with Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere. All the staff are great, the information shared is great and the uploaded information is great. The only slight negative is out of the control of Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere. Due to the pandemic, I have never seen my child in the nursery environment but I am glad about the progress that is being made for this to change.

Since my son joined Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere in May 2021 he has been very well looked after by a team of very caring and supportive key workers. He has built great bonds with the staff at Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere and really enjoys his time there. The insights we receive on his development are fantastic and the communication we get from the app is awesome. This certainly gave me a lot of reassurance in the first few months he attended. The app gives us some great ideas on how we can continue his development at home. Overall, a great experience.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees Kingsmere since June 2021. She loves the staff and her time there and has been thriving in her development. There’s a huge variety of activities (even bringing a fire engine to visit the nursery!) and the curriculum and understanding of each child’s needs are fantastic. Communication from the nursery manager is excellent, with regular updates, particularly through Covid, which has been great to have. The team use an app to share what each child has been up to each day and it’s lovely to see pictures of what they’ve been doing. The outside space is slightly smaller than other nursery settings, but the team have made the most of it with lots of outdoor activities and the inside space more than makes up for it. I would highly recommend this nursery to any new parent.

My little boy joined the nursery in August 2021 at 11-months-old. Being a lockdown baby he was not used to being with different adults or children, so it took him a little while to adjust to nursery. We found all the staff directly involved in his care to be very supportive and the care was really good. It really helped our little boy to settle in. He now really enjoys nursery, which as a parent is such a relief and makes us so happy.

My eldest son started at the nursery just a couple of months after it opened and my daughter has recently started in the baby room. I could not be more delighted with the service, support and care provided at Busy Bees. Daily, we receive pictures of our children during their fun-packed day, detailed updates on how much they have eaten and nappies and what activities have been planned. These are so lovely to receive when you are in the middle of a workday, it really helps to reassure that they are enjoying their day. The food menu is so varied, with lots of vegetarian meals and is on a six-week rotation that gets published, so you can see what they’ve had each day. The nursery team are excellent. Energetic, supportive and knowledgeable. Our little boy was particularly shy around adults, but with some one-on-one support from his key worker, he has absolutely blossomed and is now the outgoing boy we see at home. This focused effort to support him, is something we are so very grateful for!
