Waverton Kirkby Day Nursery caters for children aged 0 to five years old. The nursery has specially designed rooms for each age group to enable each child to develop and grow in stages, with each room presenting an environment that is rich in learning opportunities.

For the youngest, the nursery provides wonderful sensory experiences and space where they can explore the world around them. The next stage enables the children to further explore and move around, supported by experienced and nurturing staff.

The pre-school room lays the foundation for primary education and gives children access to a wide range of resources, all designed to inspire young minds.

Outdoor play is central to the nursery and children are taken outside each day in order to keep fit and healthy and support physical development.

Excellent nursery my child has come on so well in the short space of time she has been there!
The girls and staff are lovely, I was so worried about leaving my child in a nursery setting and now I'm glad I did and couldn't have chosen a better one. My daughter can't wait to go in which makes my day
so much better knowing that while I'm working my child's getting the best care and having the best time!

My son started attending the Kids Planet nursery in March 2024, he likes it very much, he always tells me what he did with enthusiasm and every morning when he wakes up he tells me to dress him and go to the nursery. I am very happy because a happy child is equal to a calm mother. I thank the staff
for the care given. I participated in Easter stay and play and I was super excited by the activities and games prepared, I saw how my child interacts with children and how happy is located in this nursery.

Amazing nursery. My 3 children have been, and I could not fault it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the nursery is spotless. Large outdoor area with lots of play equipment. Feel safe leaving my daughter there.

This nursery is superb, and I'm so pleased we chose this environment for our daughter. The staff and management are fantastic, and they clearly love their jobs. The attention to detail and love that my daughter receives is so comforting to us that we would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery
to friends and family.

What a wonderful nursery! I have two children there - the oldest four and the youngest one.
When my oldest started, he was two and really scared, but after a week, he loved it. The way the staff treat the kids - it’s as if they were their own family. When my youngest started, he was nine months, literally
loved it from day one - the smile when he sees the girls, it melts my heart. I couldn’t recommend Kids Planet enough, even if I tried for mums, it’s a scary start to let go of your child but they look after them just the way we would, your child needs a cuddle, they are there with arms wide open.
I can not fault one person as every single one of them is loving and caring towards the children - I come to work stress-free and worry-free.

My son has been attending Kids Planet since he was a baby, and now as a toddler, loves still going and tells me all about his friends he has met and the daily activities he does. The food is great. Also, the nursey is very clean. Thank you for making my son enjoy nursey.

I moved to Kirkby with my two children last year, and I was very scared to let my little girl (2 years old) start nursery, but it's been the best thing for us both, she is so happy going in, and the staff are absolutely amazing with her and the other children. The staff go out there way to make sure
she is happy, and they also take the kids out to the park for ice cream. My daughter has built her confidence, etc, from just going to this nursery. I have no faults - it's an excellent nursery.

My son loves this nursery. The staff are always so lovely and look after him like their own. My son has learned so much since being there too; he's now talking sentences when he wasn't even saying mummy a few months ago. Him and I love the place.

My daughter started this nursery in November and has settled in so well. The staff are really hands-on and make sure she has the best time whilst at nursery. They are really informative and give me a run-through of everything she has done throughout the day.
Any issues with regards to injuries they
are straight on it, and are instantly informing me.
I love the way since my daughter has started, she is able to explore different tastes and textures with the food that they offer. And it has also been given a 5-star hygiene rating for the past few years.
The girls truly are amazing and I never have to worry about her throughout the day. I have since increased her days. As she comes home with a smile each time.

My little boy has been going here for a year and absolutely loves it. The staff are friendly, caring and enthusiastic. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The nursery is clean, well-equipped and has a lovely atmosphere. The children are encouraged to play outside, and the outdoor spaces are well-maintained,
safe and age-appropriate. I'd highly recommend this nursery.

Waverton Kirkby Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery, my daughter has been attending for over a year and she loves being there. The staff are brilliant and always go above and beyond to ensure the best care and learning. The team have been fantastic with her additional needs and helped her make huge strides
towards her goals. The nursery has great outdoor spaces and equipment and the staff are great with communication with parents. Would highly recommend Waverton Kirkby.

My daughter is settling into the nursery well and the staff are reassuring and welcoming.
I can see she is bonding with them already. The nursery is warm and clean and has a calm atmosphere as soon as you walk in.

Need food diversity. Management has to take responsibility for everything happening independently they've been off. Love the active time the kids have been offered! Staff is nice and cheerful. My kid shows she's learning.

Our grandson started here in November 2020 as our daughter had moved house and his current nursery was too far to travel to. We were more than impressed on the initial show round by the manager and our daughter felt that he would be safe here and develop well. He has come on in leaps and bounds since
starting and has a strong relationship with the baby room leader. Highly recommend this nursery and as a previous nursery owner, this is a very high recommendation.

Stacey Clarke is the Nursery Manager. Stacey has worked in the Early Years since 2007 and has worked within management since 2012. Stacey is qualified as an Early Years child development Practitioner and is the designated safeguarding lead at the nursery.
