Footprints Day Nursery Wallsend

Footprints is a friendly and professional nursery and my child loves attending this setting. The staff go above and beyond in all aspects and give regular updates on our child’s development. Would certainly recommend it to any families with young children. I can’t give them enough praise.

My daughter has just started Footprints Day Nursery and I couldn’t be any happier with my decision to place her here. The settling-in process was smooth, the staff are lovely and most importantly for myself the knowledge around food allergies has been fantastic. They ensured her diet is met, communicated well with me at the start to ensure they understood her allergies and had a fantastic process in place for this. The app is great with daily updates and it is lovely to see photos of my child enjoying a range of activities from outdoor play, and sensory room to mess play and painting. I especially love to see her happy little face at the end of the day which shows me she has had a lovely time whilst she is too young to communicate this verbally.

My son has been attending this nursery for a year now and the experience has been so wonderful. The management and staff are so great with their knowledge of complex allergies and get so excited with us when we pass little milestones. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting and I have felt nothing but support from day one. He loves coming in every week and has such amazing relationships with the staff and other children.

She will be leaving to start big school in September and we are both so sad to be leaving all the girls behind.

Outdoor play is great, all meals are freshly cooked on-site.

My son has attended this nursery for nearly a year now and I wouldn’t want him in any other nursery, they are so good with him and his needs as he has cerebral palsy and they have helped him so much over the last 11 months. All the staff are so kind and good with the children. I’m always getting updates on my son and how he’s doing at nursery, it’s the best nursery ever.

All home-cooked food and my son always eats a full meal. Fantastic garden and outdoor area and always lots of activities happening.

I am really happy to choose Footprints for my daughter. She is super active now and takes part in every activity. She was a little shy before joining the nursery, but now she is much better. The whole staff is doing a fabulous job.

Lovely staff, friendly. My daughter loves to go there and stay during the holidays. She has had lots of fun and her confidence has come on so much. It's a place where she can feel comfortable. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all.

Lovely nursery setting. The playrooms and gardens have so much for little ones to explore and discover. Staff are welcoming and friendly and do everything they can to make sure you and your child feel comfortable when settling in. Lots of updates are sent to parents throughout the nursery day which is great. Would definitely recommend

Footprints is an excellent nursery. My daughter was rather quiet and nervous when she first started going but is now so confident and doesn’t like to come home! She does lots of different activities and goes on different outings. I am so impressed with the staff and the setting itself. Really is a lovely nursery and so glad I found it for my little one.

The events and activities are fantastic and so well organised. So pleased we chose Footprints!

This is an excellent nursery my daughter loves coming here. There are great facilities, the meals are fab, staff are so caring. She has learnt so much since coming here for 2 years! Prepared her very well for a big school in September, can't thank them enough.

My son moved to this nursery from another local nursery last year and has thrived. All of the staff are so lovely and caring. They use an app really well for communication with home and posting photos which is great to be able to see what he’s doing each day.

My son has been in this nursery only a few months and I can honestly say he has flourished. Counting skills, colours, manners etc. The staff seem to genuinely love their job and the influence they have on the children is very noticeable. The expected separation upset when my son first joined was quickly and positively dealt with.

Staff are always professional with me when collecting my son. The Famly app this nursery use to get information and general day to day activities is amazing. Daily photos of my son doing what he loves makes my family and I feel like the nursery is a positive part of development for our child.

Well presented nursery, from the visit the atmosphere was calm and the registration process was easy. My child loves attending and when not in holiday club asks to go. The staff are friendly and approachable and nothing is ever to much . The activities and day trips are fantastic and I love to hear and see all of the things she has been up to whilst I am at work. Would recommend this nursery to everyone the staff go above and beyond for the children in their care.

My daughter has attended since the nursery opened and returns during the school holidays for the excellent holiday club. She always has exciting things to tell me about her day. I particularly like that everything is online and I get kept up to date during the day. She loves to attend and talks about all the staff who are pleasant and caring.

My daughter has come for after-school and holiday club at Footprints and loves it. It’s a calm, well-managed and welcoming environment, and sounds like a lot of fun is had by the kids. A lovely nursery.
