Bright Horizons Stoke Newington is a purpose built nursery catering for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery in Stoke Newington is located a few minutes' walk from Stoke Newington train station, which offers overground trips to Liverpool Street within 15 minutes. Located close to London Liverpool Street tube.

The nursery boasts spacious and well-equipped rooms that are designed to cater to the different age groups. Each room is bright and inviting, filled with age-appropriate toys, books and learning materials. The outdoor play area is expansive, providing ample space for children to engage in physical activities and enjoy the fresh air. The nursery takes great pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring the well-being of the children at all times.

The setting offers a large external play area where the children can flourish and explore while building a lifelong love of learning.

Children in the nursery are well prepared to transition to school with their 'ready for school enrichment' which includes growing readers, writers and mathematicians.

All food will be freshly cooked by the on-site chef and is nutritionally balanced and parents benefit from onsite parking and a buggy park.

The nursery offers longer opening hours of 7:30am to 6:30pm.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in March 2022.

My son has attended for six months. The staff have really supported his learning and development, including mark making, potty training and children's outings. They keep parents informed through regular updates. Healthy food options. My son loves attending. Would recommend to other parents.

My child is happy to attend Bright Horizons Stoke Newington and has established excellent relationships with her key workers and most, if not all, members of staff that work throughout the nursery. The team are great at communicating with me about what my daughter does throughout the day and are always
helpful and willing to offer help/advice when asked. I have seen my daughter flourish throughout her time at Bright Horizons Stoke Newington and the team have an excellent understanding of her individual needs and meet them very well. It's fantastic that my daughter is taken on regular visits to the local park particularly as the outside space is relatively small. I would like to see more photographs of what my daughter does throughout the day/ ‘wow’ moments while at nursery and once Covid19 restrictions are eased it would be good to be invited back into the nursery to gain an understanding of what my child does and enjoys as well as the friendships she has established, particularly at pick-up.

My daughter started at Bright Horizon in the toddler room. She warmed very quickly to the staff. The staff at Bright Horizon Stoke Newington are absolutely lovely. They always provide daily feedback which is great.
My daughter is now in the preschool room, again with lovely staff who she talks about
daily at home. She has lots of friends and enjoys going to this nursery she loves story time, painting and playing in the garden.
The nursery has lots to offer and I enjoy hearing about my daughters day.
The last year has been tough on everyone and the staff at Bright Horizon has made the children and parents feel as safe and normal as possible.
I would highly recommend bright horizon!

My son has been at Bright Horizons, Stoke Newington for just over a year now and we couldn't be happier. He found it very hard to settle in at first but the wonderful staff are so kind, friendly and considerate and he now loves going to nursery. Every day he seems to learn something new and I love hearing
about what he's got up to. The facilities are amazing. The one and only downside is the lack of outdoor space (only a small balcony garden) but I hope once Covid is over, park trips can resume. The managers run the nursery seamlessly but also spend so much time getting to know the children. I really feel happy with the care at Bright Horizons and would definitely recommend.

We have been very happy with our experience. The staff are excellent - very supportive, kind, helpful and encouraging. Our daughter has been attending the nursery since September 2019 and has flourished, taking part in lots of different activities every day. She loves it and we feel very safe and happy
to drop her off each morning. I would recommend to any parent looking for a nursery or pre-school in the area.

Bright Horizons nursery is a great place to send children. The team are considerate, savvy, dedicated, patient, lovely... everything you would hope for in a nursery.
The space is clean, full of colours and happiness and there are always new activities for the kids to be doing.
Sending my child there
is never a worry or a heartache as I know he will thrive, learn and play throughout the day.


The only issue I would have is the garden size and the close proximity to a parking lot. Cut down parking lot size to create a much bigger garden! It would be even better.

My child has been with Bright Horizons Stoke Newington since they opened in June last year. The nursery hosts two additional classrooms, they have a balcony garden for the babies and for the older children. My child loves going to nursery and I could not feel safer sending him in. The manger and team
are friendly and I have seen my child develop and grow.

I feel peace of mind every time I left my son at nursery because he is always happy to stay and happy when I come at the end of the day. As well, everything looks very organised at the end of the day. True to form I am informed how my son's day was in the nursery. The staff, every day, look happy, friendly

I am very happy with the quality of care provided by the preschool staff and nursery management. My son is so happy here and has flourished since his last nursery. The team are very supportive of my son's condition (autism). If I have any more children they will most definitely attend this nursery.

My one year old has settled in well to Bright Horizons, the team in the room are fantastic and the admin staff really accommodating. I would definitely recommend the nursery. The facilities and toys in the rooms are fantastic, though there isn’t much outdoor space they have an indoor garden and make
the most of the courtyards and balconies.

Job Title: Manager

I am the manager at a nursery in Stoke Newington. I have been in childcare for over 20 years, and I am passionate about creating a safe and calm environment for all children. I am a strong believer in healthy eating, and I put a tremendous amount of effort into implementing healthy and nutritious food in our daily menu.


I am a Level 3 qualified in child care, I am a Senco coordinator and I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for our nursery.


Throughout my career, I've worked in summer camps with children aged 7-15 years old and also taught children in skiing school. This all trained me and gave me the experience to work with children and understand their needs and interests. I joined the Bright Horizons team in summer 2023 - I feel very welcomed and it's been great to be part of the team and lead this nursery.


During my time outside the setting, I enjoy spending quality time with my children, for example, taking them to gymnastics and musical classes.

Hello. I have been working in early years for 20 years, I began my journey completing my NNEB and have been working for Bright Horizons since 1998.


I enjoy being with the children and creating a stimulating environment for them to develop and learn in.
