Purple Lion Day Nurseries (Buckhurst Hill)

I can't really put into words how life changing Purple Lion have been for me and my family. They have become my lifeline, biggest support and an extended loving family for my twins. Their development has been incredible and I genuinely can't thank them enough for all the love and care they have invested into not only the twins but my husband and I too. The whole team; Elena, Jasmine, Amy, Ramani, Becca, Fahima, Jessica, Edith, Lydia and everyone at Purple Lion - it just wouldn't have been possible without you guys. You know how much you mean to me. This is the first nursery I have decided to send my daughter, it's coming up to 2 years now what I love about Purple Lion Day Nurseries is the planned activities every week, staff really make an effort and we get to see videos and pictures on Family App. Recently the little music videos shared by them. I have visited few times, and as a parent I felt the warmth and love within the staff and children. The nursery is very clean and very organised. I attended the Christmas party in December and that was amazing, service provided was perfection. Food and company, staff interaction with parents was good. My daughter started going out for little trips which I normally wouldn't allow other than me and my wife, but the staff take good care of these children. I would recommend this nursery to others.

Really happy with the nursery overall and the thought and care that goes into everything the staff do. Our girls are very happy there and enjoy the various activities they put on for them. The staff genuinely care which you can see reflected in the happiness of the children. The location is also great for days we have to travel into work, as it's not far from the tube.

Your dedication it's not unnoticed.

Although our daughter was only at the nursery for one term (due to moving house) she had such a wonderful time there and was made to feel safe and secure throughout her time. Developmentally she came on in leaps and bounds too!

My daughter started nursery in April 2024 at Purple Lion Day Nurseries and enjoyed every single day. They do lots of activities, crafting and also have a nice garden. The staff is very friendly. She has learnt lots of new things and every day I am picking her up she is very happy.

We know that every day our son goes to Purple Lions Day Nurseries, he will be looked after and loved. We are so happy with the care that our 1 year old daughter will also start here next month!

The care the staff give our girls is second to none, and we are very happy with this nursery. There are some things that could be improved - they don't do much in the way of extra curricular trips/outings like some nurseries do, and the outdoor space isn't the biggest. But for the location (so close to the tube station) it's fair. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Amazing and wonderful nursery. My daughter has learned so much in such a short space of time. She looks forward to coming here and is so happy, fulfilled and loved here which makes me so at ease to leave her in the lovely staff's hands. Such caring and patient staff who clearly love their roles.

If I have another child they will be going there without a doubt.

My child is so happy and excited to go to nursery. It's such a reassuring feeling for a parent. The staff are excellent, the communication is great. They are creative with their activities. My child has even picked up some Spanish.

I cannot express enough how wonderful Purple Lion has been for my son since he started attending at just 19 months old in September. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, creating a warm and nurturing environment that makes him feel safe and happy. He attends two days a week, and I can already see how much he has grown and developed in such a short time. The activities are engaging and age-appropriate, fostering his curiosity and creativity. I am so grateful for the positive impact that Purple Lion has had on my son's early learning journey, he'll be moving from the baby room into the preschool room in the new year and I know he will absolutely love it. Highly recommend!

Lovely nursery. I was very nervous about putting my little girl into a nursery setting as I didn't know how she's get on but she started in October and settled in straight away. I feel she's very well cared for and has learnt so much and grown in confidence.

It's a wonderful, warm and inviting environment for our baby boy. He enjoys playing in the baby room so much and the staff there are so incredibly kind and friendly to him. They treat him with lots of care. The nursery had a wonderful Christmas party recently and we really enjoyed watching our son play will all the activities. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Purple Lion is a fantastic nursery. I can't believe how much my son learns each day and the activities they do. He loves all his teachers and clearly feels so comfortable with them. They give so much attention to all the children and they seem to have so much fun. My son has thrived so much since being there at 11 months and I can't thank the nursery enough. I will be so sad when he leaves next year for school and I know he will too.

My child has just started with the nursery. I have visited and assessed quite an impressive list of nurseries and I am very happy with my choice. They have a very spacious room, bright, clean, and well-equipped. A very clean kitchen is allocated next to the room. The garden is small but very lovely. I have seen lots of activities so far to encourage children to learn new things. The staff are lovely and cooperative. Especially I like their morning conversation session with children, which helps children to learn new words and talk. Personally, for me, I didn't have enough time to spend together with my child in the nursery to help her to settle in. Hopefully, she gets used to it quickly.
