Children are accommodated in the purpose-built Pre-Prep School, which includes a hall for dance, music, and gym activities, as well as a library and art area. The Nursery and Kindergarten rooms open onto a large, safe outdoor play area for the youngest children, featuring imaginative and investigation zones and a woodland exploratory area with dens and logs for climbing. Wellington boots and waterproofs are essential.
Throughout the Early Years, the nursery bases learning and play activities on each child’s stage of development and personal interests, providing stimulating experiences for every individual. Little Vines Nursery goes beyond the classroom to spark curiosity and develop the whole child. The unique offering includes:

Each child has a unique Microsoft Teams channel, where the Nursery Team shares ongoing assessment information with parents. The nursery works closely with families and maintains excellent communication links with parents.

Our 3 and a half-year-old daughter has been one year at nursery and since September at kindergarten. We cannot speak highly enough about both. The teachers are amazing, up until this age, I would not leave my daughter with anyone else including friends and family, that is the confidence I have in both teachers. The environment is lovely. Teachers have gone the extra mile to help me as a mum settle in with school.
Other schools do not come close.

Our little lady loves her time at Little Vines. It’s a superb setting, a lovely warm bright environment for little ones, with plenty of stimulation, play and also quiet time. Outdoor fun whatever the weather, the grounds are amazing. The staff are just wonderful, kind and also supportive, we’ve been lucky to experience both nursery and kindergarten. We are blessed she has been so nurtured, from the start it has been home away from home, all we could ask for, for our precious girl. Highly recommend in every way.

Having worked in school and nursery environments for a number of years before having my own children, I understand how difficult it can be to find the "perfect" setting for your child/children. But Little Vines is by far the best setting I know. All of the staff are fantastic with the children, they know just how to help them settle in and develop to their full potential. Their equipment and resources are fantastic - always exploring new and exciting things to keep the children engaged.
Our son always leaves with a huge smile on his face, full of excitement to tell us about his day. He has made some lovely friends and has learnt so much. We have seen his confidence grow enormously. The setting has helped us through some tricky times which we are so very grateful for. They really are like our extended family, we couldn't recommend Vinehall School enough.

A little bit about me:
I have worked within the Early Years sector for over 30 years and believe that every child should have the opportunity to play, learn and have fun. No two days are the same here at Little Vines which always makes the job challenging and keeps me on my toes!
I began my journey training as a Nursery Nurse and have had the opportunity to work in all types of settings, one of which was a Montessori school, where I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge. I am extremely proud to be the Head of Little Vines Nursery and Kindergarten here at Vinehall School and be supported by such nurturing, experienced, passionate and fun Early Years Practitioners.

Firstly, as a creche manager, riding instructor and children's book illustrator, before moving to be head of a school-based Nursery, where I took great delight in watching many children embark on their learning journey, so much so, that I was there for ten years!
I am absolutely delighted to now be a part of this fantastic, committed, passionate and highly skilled Early Years team at Marlborough House Vinehall's Little Vines.
Outside of work, you will find me in the garden (or the greenhouse) or with my nose in a book. I have a large family of my own and love nothing more than us all being together around the table, sharing special times and making memories.

I have been part of the Little Vines Team for many wonderful years now. Back in 2010, I started my journey as an apprentice and voluntary co-play group leader. In 2017, I became a Professional Early Years Practitioner and proudly started a full-time position at the Nursery. I am now working alongside the talented Little Vines Team on a part-time basis, whilst also introducing and continuing to develop fun woodwork activities for the children.
