Stars Day Nursery Bushfield based in Ortongate, Peterborough is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.

The nursery has skylights and a window wall which makes the 2 rooms light and airy for the children. The nursery boasts a baby room (3 months to 23 months) and a pre-school room (2 years to 5 years).

The curriculum is child-led and staff offer opportunities to explore, discover and investigate all kinds of things from the natural world, including bodies and how they work, physical exercise as well as how food and plants grow.

Children also have the opportunity to free flow between the classrooms and outside all day.

All meals are freshly prepared and delivered by an external catering company.

My little one is 3 but functioning much younger. Stars Day Nursery Bushfield has been exceptional in dealing with his needs, showing compassion and understanding of his feelings. They are always happy to offer advice and help with tips to make our lives easier. All the staff are wonderful and I would
recommend this nursery. My little one is always very happy to go and play and he has bonded with his key worker.

We have had the most amazing experience with Stars Day Bushfield. My son settled really quickly within his first week here and we saw him transformed into a very friendly little boy.
He was always happy to go every morning and we could genuinely see the love from the entire staff.
He was engaged in
a good variety of activities and he enjoyed various healthy meals and snacks too.
It is quite sad that he has to stop going because we are relocating abroad and we can only hope that we get a nursery as good as this.

Our little daughter has been attending this nursery since she was ten months old; she is now four years old, and I can't even begin to say how wonderful the staff and the setting are! We had an amazing experience, and if we had another baby, he/she would definitely attend Stars Day Nursery in Orton
Bushfield. I love that the staff are trying to create a home away from home for our children, and the experience is very personal; they get cooked meals and engaging activities for everyone, and at the end of the day, every parent gets a quick chat about their child's day. Absolutely wonderful people and I'm so happy my little one got to know them!

We love the nursery. My daughter doesn’t want to go home at the end of the day. She’s been going there for four months now and has never cried not wanting to go in. She loves all the staff. We had some incidents, but they have addressed and resolved the issues. She has learned a lot of things since
she’s been there.

The team at Stars Bushfield have been amazing for our son since he joined in January 2022, aged nine months. He is always excited to see the staff in the morning and always leaves with a smile. The staff clearly work hard to build a relationship with the children. They regularly do a wide range of activities,
often linked to current events (eg Christmas, Valentine's Day, Children in Need, World Book Day etc), and our son is proud to bring home things he has made or created. Our son is always well-fed and enjoys the meal times at Stars. The communication from staff is excellent, with frequent updates using the Baby's Days app, with lots of lovely photos of the things they get up to each day. Cannot fault the service we have experienced so far.

I would highly recommend this nursery setting to anyone looking to place their child in a nursery for the first time. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure your child thrives to their best ability. The level of care and support that I have received has been phenomenal. Everyone is so friendly
and down to earth, and the level of professionalism is outstanding. The support they provide with SEN children is absolutely brilliant. The management team are honestly amazing. I can not thank everyone at the setting enough for everything they have done.

The team at the Stars Day Nursery Bushfield has been fantastically supportive with our baby settling in. The nursery was the last thing we thought of, but work and uni compelled us to make that tough decision. We really weren't sure, and the siblings even objected to the idea of a nursery. However,
upon meeting two particular ladies (the way and manner she held the babies) on my first visit and how well kept the environment looked, I had made up my mind even before confirming with Dad. They took the time to study our baby to know the likes and dislikes and made it possible for our baby to settle. A miracle baby after 11-years, being pampered at home is an understatement, so we knew it would be a struggle to settle in, but the lovely ladies and the whole team made it bearable for us as a family. I would personally recommend that any concerns, go via one particular staff member, she is such an awesome, loving, and caring mother. Big thanks to the lovely, smiley ladies.

We have currently had our child in this nursery for just over a month now, and the whole experience so far has been very satisfying. We are particularly impressed with the daily interaction through the app. This allows us to follow our child's progress whilst providing us with a great insight into the

Since our daughter has been attending Stars Day Nursery, she has come on leaps and bounds.
She amazes us every day with what she learns and how well she interacts with all the other children.
The staff go above and beyond with activities and opportunities for learning; they are honestly great!
