Currie Nursery is a renowned local nursery specialising in home from home care. The long term team of professionals has worked for the Nursery for many years, and is achieving very high standards. They offer additional services such as home cooked meals, extended outdoor play experiences and plenty of trips and opportunities to get involved in the local community. They are the nursery of choice in the local area owing to the staff team, and good results from inspections as a result of all their hard work. They are the nursery most recommended and sought after in the local area. They offer 1140 hours of fully funded childcare as well as full and half day sessions.

My 3-year-old has been at this nursery for two years and my youngest son is due to start soon.
There is a small and cosy feel to the nursery and have always felt my son has been well cared for.
There is lots of outdoor play and arts and crafts. My son absolutely loves the big garden and has made
some amazing friendships with the other kids and staff.
I recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

My child has attended the nursery since he was one. He is now in his third room there and I am really happy with how he is cared for. The staff that he has worked with have been great and seem to get to know him as an individual. He gets a variety of experiences and the sharing of these experiences
on the app helps to have discussions with him about his learning when he is at home. He enjoys looking back at the pictures that are shared as well. He loves being outside and the outdoor space has been developed a lot over the past few years. He seems to have a great time whilst there and the staff that he has worked with have shown a genuine interest in his learning and development.

My daughter has been going here since she was 9-months-old, she is almost 3 now. Her development speaks for itself. She loves her days there. The staff are all so friendly and excellent at keeping you up to date. Her little sister will start here soon too.
The children go outside every day and explore
areas in the local community. It’s great to see lots of photos of them enjoying their days.

Our daughter started with the nursery at 11-months-old and has only been there since October. The team were so welcoming and the settling in was great (for us as the parents and for our daughter). Fast forward just a few months and now she even walks in herself (often open arms!) and excited to get
ready to go on a morning. She has also certainly learnt a lot. Communications from the nursery are great and it’s lovely to see what they get up to. We can easily see why she loves it so much. Can’t recommend them enough.

This nursery has been fantastic with communication and care. They share learning steps clearly and keep us up to date with our daughter’s well-being and development. We really feel like they know her and care for her. The staff have spent time building quality relationships with her so she is happy
and secure. She is often running in happy and laughing and the same when being picked up. We couldn’t ask for more!

Staff are amazing, best thing to say about the nursery is how reassuring they are and the commitment they put into each child. Excellent at responding to concerns or when just having a bad day checking in with photos etc. Approachability is a big thing when they are little right up to when they are
bigger but with speech concerns - we’ve had nothing but positivity from staff.
Love the fact the kids can go outside when they want, the doors are open even in wet weather (suitably dressed of course).

A great nursery with wonderful staff and facilities. We have a 3-year-old and 1-year-old here and know they are well looked after.
3-year-old has been there for one and a half years and loves all the outdoor play. Great to see the forest schools approach. Food also goes down well!

Friendly, welcoming staff who have great relationships with all the children and the kids always seem to be busy and happy. The managers are great at getting back to us about any queries and sharing any new information.

Fabulous, friendly, genuine nursery. I trust them to know and care for my kids (who have niche allergies!). I love that they take them out on free trips regularly too! Good learning resources and they communicate with parents well.

We have been attending this nursery for the last two years and are so pleased with the care our children receive. The staff love them and it shows in the activities they lead. The location is very convenient for us and the outdoor areas are always being upgraded and improved. It’s so popular, they’ve

My son goes here just now and my eldest before him, the staff are fantastic and have been wonderful before and during the pandemic. So flexible, caring and fun. I am totally happy to leave my kids with them, would happily recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son has been going to the nursery since he was 1 (now 2 and a half) and he absolutely loves it. The food is great, the kids have so many toys to play with and activities to do and I fully believe he has learnt so much as part of his development from the nursery. I think he’d rather be there than
with me at times.

I can’t rave about this nursery anymore if I tried! The staff are lovely and my son looks forward to nursery every single day he is in. He comes home with lots of stories about what he had done. A round of applause to them for everything they are teaching my boy. I sometimes wonder where all this information
fits! The meals are fabulous and there is a variety of different types of meals they offer i.e. hot meals, cold meals, some veggie and some meat. They are so accommodating and I love the fact I can drop my son off any time after 7:30 am and collect latest 6 pm which works so well with me and my partner's working hours.

Brilliant nursery, my son's first year at nursery and they have settled him in amazingly. A lot of outdoor fun and trips which he loves. All the staff are amazing and he has a great relationship with them all. They are good at keeping parents up to date and following dietary requirements in my experience.

My 4-year-old has been attending Currie Children's Day Nursery since she was 9-months-old. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. The staff are great and really get to know the children and what they like/dislike. She takes part in a wide range of activities and is always learning. I especially
like the amount of outdoor time the children have and the trips they take around the local community. During Covid, although parents haven't been allowed in the nursery staff have been great at keeping us up to date with what the children have been up to. And being a key worker, the staff were fantastic during the pandemic, such a difficult time for them but still always had a smile to greet the children. Highly recommend.

The staff are lovely, so friendly and welcoming. My son is always so excited to go and is greeted by a big smile at the door.
The nursery is always doing fun activities which are not only fun but great for learning too. They have fun-filled days outs to parks, farms, museums and many more. Giving my
son a taste of exploring the city.
Before joining this nursery my son was shy and nervous. Within a week or two of joining he knew the names of his friends and the staff that work there. His confidence and learning are growing every day and that’s all thanks to this nursery.
Can’t recommend them enough!

I highly recommend Currie Children's Day Nursery. The staff are all so friendly and really engage with all the children. The care the children receive is second to none and my little girl loves going here. The nursery are always working towards educational goals and they really care about each individual
child and their own needs. The outdoor space is amazing and perfectly suited to each age group. The children spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors, the local community and sometimes a little bit further afield which I think is great.
