Currie Children's Day Nursery

Most importantly, my daughter always leaves the nursery with a smile, and she frequently shares how much she enjoys her time there and talks positively about the staff. It's reassuring to know that she is in such capable and caring hands. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and engaging environment for their little ones!

Our son has been at Currie Children's Day Nursery for 18 months and we all love it. The staff are superb and really make an effort to get to know the children even if they are in different rooms themselves. We have really been impressed with the variety of activities, they always seem to be exploring something different. And the regularity of the outings is brilliant, he's been all over and loves getting the bus with his friends. I can't recommend Currie Children's Day Nursery highly enough.

Our daughter has been at Currie Children's Day Nursery since she was 9 months old. She is now nearly 3 and she absolutely loves coming here. We currently have her in three times a week and all of the staff work extremely hard and are just great with the kids. On top of all the hard work they do with the children, they make the utmost effort to keep the parents up to date of the day to day via the app they use. Excellent job!

Great staff and she is always outside, which she loves. Her eating is good there and happily runs in each day.

Both our children are so happy and settled at Currie Children's Day Nursery. The staff go above and beyond to make sure they are safe, understood and have opportunities to thrive. Not just in the playrooms and garden but out on fantastic outings in the community where they are exposed to so many new and exciting things with their friends. Their learning journals show so many interesting and creative tasks and activities and everything is adapted as needed to meet their unique needs. They've both come on so much in nursery and we are so glad we found it.

My son has recently started here (age 23 months at starting). He had some strong bonds at his old nursery so was a little nervous about moving him but just over a month on and he is pointing and smiling with excitement when we arrive - he even had an excited boogie on the doorstep today. He especially likes the freedom to play in the garden here! Happy we moved him and looking forward to watching his growing bonds with staff and other children!

My child has been at Currie Children's Day Nursery for almost a year now and loves it. The staff are just brilliant with all the kids, and they do loads of activities. They also often take them on trips out which they love. I would really recommend the nursery to anyone.

My little one has recently started here, and they have settled him in so well. All the staff always seem so interested in the children’s welfare. I get continuous updates throughout the day about how he is getting on which is so nice after having him at another nursery beforehand with little communication. He has come on so much at home since starting here, I can’t thank the girls enough for making him feel so welcome.

Our children really look forward to their days here.

The nursery and staff are fantastic. My son loves to be there and has his own favourites. My only highlight for the nursery would be to maintain cleanliness inside and outside the nursery. Regular hygiene checks would be much appreciated around the kids (runny noses etc). A little bit of an upgrade in the kid's play area would be great too.

Excellent nursery. Staff are very enthusiastic and always have a range of activities organised throughout the week. My daughter looks forward to going and has really progressed since attending. She has made lots of friends who she talks about at home, as well as the staff. Staff are excellent at updating the learning journals and it's great to see photos of what they've been doing each day/week.

I have been using Currie Children's Day Nursery for 4 years, with my first son from age 3 and now my second (started when he was one). It has been lovely to watch it grow and develop. I was happy with the nursery in the early stages but they have made so many changes, to the outdoor space, introducing Forest style learning, introducing themes based on what the children are interested in and incorporating trips out as well, it has grown immensely in the last couple of years. The staff in all the rooms have been really caring and my son who is there now talks about them a lot and I can tell they engage with him in his interests. He also comes home having learned new things all the time, which is great.

Always welcoming friendly staff who ensure my daughter is settled and happy. They always seem to be doing a range of activities which promote learning which is fantastic and I love that they allow the children to be outside whenever they want to be. My daughter enjoys going to nursery very much. Very happy with the care she receives.

We have had our little boy in nursery for six months now, he has thrived with the support from the nursery staff and enjoys the variety of topics and activities they provide on a weekly basis. He loves his time there and his needs are well met and he is continually pushed to develop and progress aligned with his goals for learning and development.

The nursery teachers are very good with my son, they make sure he's busy and has lots to do and is happy when there to see his pals. The best day of the week is a Friday when he is there and the outside park is good with the door open so they can play outside any time and the lunch he always eats as at the house he never eats it all. The team have made it so easy for us to adjust to our 1-year-old starting nursery over the past few months, going above and beyond to accommodate her additional needs. The communication and feedback from the staff are always excellent and we feel our daughter is in very safe hands. She already runs in smiling when she sees her favourite staff members!

Currie Children's Day Nursery is well run with our children enjoying the facilities and staff with the educational agenda/play keeping them well entertained and enthused. The variety and source of daily/weekly events/learnings are great and our children are happy to attend nursery and full of life when there which is a testament to the team. The journals are a great source of information to keep parents abreast of what the kids have been up to and to aid our understanding of their learning and development.

Really happy with this nursery. All the staff have been great and my daughter always comes home happy having had busy days and lots of time outdoors. Staff have always been happy to help and have a laid-back, flexible approach. Parking isn't great for drop-off/pick-up, especially if you're not a confident driver.

It has been eighteen months since we put our son in this nursery. The staff are really nice and communicate frequently and effectively at every pick-up and in learning journals. There are lots of well-planned activities as well as freedom and space to allow our son to explore by himself. There is lots of outdoor play, weekly shopping/cooking etc. are great too. My son always loves to go and he loves his wee friends there too.

Currie Children's Day Nursery has been fantastic for my daughter. The feedback that we receive is top-notch and makes us feel a part of her development even when we're not there. The garden space is particularly good with loads for the children to do. As an avid cook myself I think it's brilliant that the kids get to do some cooking at the nursery.
