Currie Nursery is a renowned local nursery specialising in home from home care. The long term team of professionals has worked for the Nursery for many years, and is achieving very high standards. They offer additional services such as home cooked meals, extended outdoor play experiences and plenty of trips and opportunities to get involved in the local community. They are the nursery of choice in the local area owing to the staff team, and good results from inspections as a result of all their hard work. They are the nursery most recommended and sought after in the local area. They offer 1140 hours of fully funded childcare as well as full and half day sessions.

Our children love their time at Currie Children's Day Nursery. The transition into the baby room and the pre school room was extremely supportive and child led. We really appreciate the regular updates and it's clear the staff really know the children as individuals.
All the staff are so kind and
warm we have nothing but praise for all the incredible work they do.
The activities and outings are always interesting, fun and creative. There is lots of sensory activities, lots of time spent in the amazing garden and fantastic opportunities through community visits to local areas that our eldest loves.
Recent wheelie day was a highlight for our eldest who has really grown in confidence on scooter/bike since this. The recent sports day was a lovely and supportive chance for the Children to experience games and teamwork.
Our children have grown in confidence, made friends and had opportunities to try activities that we wouldn't manage at home.
Our children really look forward to their days here.

The nursery and staff are fantastic. My son loves to be there and has his own favourites. My only highlight for the nursery would be to maintain cleanliness inside and outside the nursery. Regular hygiene checks would be much appreciated around the kids (runny noses etc). A little bit of an upgrade
in the kid's play area would be great too.

In regards to cleanliness: with parents coming and going at pick-up times the hallway floors can get mucky (especially in the winter) so I will pass your feedback on to our cleaner, however, these areas are deep cleaned at night for the following day. We have a few winter bugs going around just now and we try to keep on top of the runny noses, I will ask the team to be extra vigilant. We are surprised to hear you think our garden area needs upgrading as this is rated one of our best features in other reviews, our gardens are continually upgraded throughout the year to match the children's interests and playing styles at the time. We have a suggestion box within the nursery though if you have ideas on what could be added to our outdoor areas. Excellent nursery. Staff are very enthusiastic and always have a range of activities organised throughout the week. My daughter looks forward to going and has really progressed since attending. She has made lots of friends who she talks about at home, as well as the staff. Staff are excellent at updating
the learning journals and it's great to see photos of what they've been doing each day/week.

I have been using Currie Children's Day Nursery for 4 years, with my first son from age 3 and now my second (started when he was one). It has been lovely to watch it grow and develop. I was happy with the nursery in the early stages but they have made so many changes, to the outdoor space, introducing
Forest style learning, introducing themes based on what the children are interested in and incorporating trips out as well, it has grown immensely in the last couple of years. The staff in all the rooms have been really caring and my son who is there now talks about them a lot and I can tell they engage with him in his interests. He also comes home having learned new things all the time, which is great.

Always welcoming friendly staff who ensure my daughter is settled and happy. The nursery teachers are very good with my son, they make sure he's busy and has lots to do and is happy when there to see his pals. The best day of the week is a Friday when he is there and the outside park is good with the door open so they can play outside any time and the lunch he always eats as

Currie Children's Day Nursery is well run with our children enjoying the facilities and staff with the educational agenda/play keeping them well entertained and enthused. The variety and source of daily/weekly events/learnings are great and our children are happy to attend nursery and full of life when
there which is a testament to the team. The journals are a great source of information to keep parents abreast of what the kids have been up to and to aid our understanding of their learning and development.

Really happy with this nursery. All the staff have been great and my daughter always comes home happy having had busy days and lots of time outdoors. Staff have always been happy to help and have a laid-back, flexible approach. Parking isn't great for drop-off/pick-up, especially if you're not a confident
driver.

It has been eighteen months since we put our son in this nursery. The staff are really nice and communicate frequently and effectively at every pick-up and in learning journals. There are lots of well-planned activities as well as freedom and space to allow our son to explore by himself. There is lots
of outdoor play, weekly shopping/cooking etc. are great too. My son always loves to go and he loves his wee friends there too.

Currie Children's Day Nursery has been fantastic for my daughter. The feedback that we receive is top-notch and makes us feel a part of her development even when we're not there. My son has attended this nursery since he was 13 months old and is nearly 4. He absolutely loves everything about the nursery from the staff to the facilities and the fantastic outdoor space that he can choose to go out to at any point in the day.
The new cooking class that they offer is brilliant
and he is asking to help cook at home now too which is lovely.
They are extremely accommodating and I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone in the area.

My child loves this nursey and the environment they have created is fun and non-restrictive. They can play and explore in their own way with plenty of opportunities to join in dancing, singing, cooking and more.
The staff are friendly and caring and have good trusting relationships with my child.

I have associated with this nursery since 2019 and continue with my second baby too. Trust and comfort are the two words I will use for them. A nice layout helps kids for both outdoor and indoor play depending on the weather.

Individual staff at the nursery seem to be very kind and caring with my child. We had extreme frustration with management who were slow or nonresponsive via email. This was after they raised concerns on several occasions and caused us great concern.

Both my children have and still do attend Currie Children's Day Nursery. The staff are very welcoming and are always happy upon arrival. Learning experiences are always relevant to my daughter's age and learning, and she is always coming home happy talking about what she had done throughout her day.
I really like how the staff takes the children outdoor to explore the local community and go further afield to places such as museums, farms and town.
I feel my child is safe and cared for within the nursery which makes me comfortable when dropping off.
