Currie Children's Day Nursery

We have always had an excellent experience with CCN. Our child is happy and settled there. The staff are responsible, caring and skilled and have a good understanding of my child and their needs. They provide fantastic variety of activities indoors and outdoors all linked to learning topics that are accessible and interesting for the kids. They are supportive with helping my child to develop friendships and independence.

Having used Currie Childrens Nursery for almost 5 years, supporting both of my children, I can honestly say that their service is brilliant. My son who still attends (daughter now at school) goes in happily and the staff engage and support him however needed, always providing fun activities. Their communications, reliability and service offering is spot on. Honestly a lifeline for us and would recommend to anyone.

Our daughter loves this nursery. Staff are all great with very low turnover. The communication is frequent and detailed and the activities varied and imaginative. We couldn't be happier with the experience our daughter has had here.

The nursery is so great at communicating with me. They send lots of updates and photos. I've asked a few random questions and every one of them has been answered with confidence. My child loves the team!!

Nursery has been great. They provide regular learning and development updates. They keep us updated on each day of child is in with food, nappies and sleeps. They are always great letting us know how our child has got on at pick up. This is our second child, our first child went to a different nursery and I would recommend this one over the first

Our experience with Currie Children's Nursery has been exceptional. All the staff are fabulous and our little boy loves it! We can't thank the staff enough, especially his key worker Aimee in Explorers Room!

We've had a really great experience with this nursery and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The staff clearly care about the children and their development, and it shows in how they interact with them every day.

There are loads of fun, creative activities that help the kids learn without it feeling like "learning", which is great. They also get out and about on trips regularly, and spend lots of time outside in the garden.

Communication has been really good too - we get regular, detailed updates through an easy-to-use app, which makes it simple to keep up with what they've been doing.

If I had to be a bit critical, space can feel a little tight at times and the garden could probably do with a bit of a spruce up. But overall, we and our children are really happy here.

This is our 3rd child to attend CCN and we are so happy with the care they have all received. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcome and supported, and the settling-in process was handled so gently that our child quickly felt comfortable and secure.

The team are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely care about each child. It's clear they take the time to understand every child's individual needs and interests. Our child has developed so much since starting and loves his key workers.

The activities are varied and engaging, encouraging learning through play, creativity, and social interaction. We also really appreciate the regular updates and communication on the app and at handover, which help us feel involved in our child's progress.

It gives us real peace of mind knowing our child is in such a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. We would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for excellent childcare.

As a parent I also feel incredibly well-supported. Their regular communication keeps me connected to her daily progress, and the parent evenings are always insightful and well-organised. It is such a comfort to leave her in a place where I know she is safe, stimulated, and truly cared for. Highly recommend!

My son started at CCN about a year ago. The experience has been wonderful, the staff are very friendly, supportive and professional. My son has wonderful relationships with the staff. He runs into nursery each morning, excited for the day ahead. The children do lots of fun activities and there is a great garden area for them to play and explore. Highly recommend!

Our second child is currently in attendance at CCN and loves it. He waves me off when I say it's a nursery day without a backwards glance, which is a breathe of fresh air after several years of prizing off his elder sibling.

Both my children have attended CCN and have loved their time at the nursery! I never have any trouble getting them through the door, and they only ever say how much they've enjoyed their day. The staff are just fantastic and they also stay with the nursery for years, which has been so beneficial for my kids - to see the same faces every day as they go through the nursery. Couldn't recommend CCN more highly.

Our son loves going to nursery and is learning so much. The staff are all so friendly and give us updates on his day, as well as uploading photos and progress to the app. It is comforting knowing he's looked after so well.

The environment is clean, safe, and well-organised, with plenty of engaging activities that support learning through play. I've noticed a big improvement in my child's confidence, social skills, and communication since attending.

The nursery have done a great job settling our twin girls. They were particularly nervous and cautious when starting but the staff have spent lots of time helping to make them feel comfortable and more confident. They do a great range of activities and change topics regularly. Lots of messy play and opportunities to try new things. Great communication via app and helpful staff. Thank you!

As a mum it is scary leaving your child in someone else's care. But from the get go I have always felt at ease leaving my daughter at Currie nursery. The daily updates and pictures are amazing. My daughter has thrived since she started nursery, she has learned so many skills and it's amazing to see!

If you want a family run nursery that really cares about and knows the children that attend then this is the nursery for you! Highly recommended them and so happy with our choice :)

My daughter has been at Currie Children's Nursery for almost a year now. They were so good during the settling in period reassuring both her and us. Her allergy has never been an issue with a chef on site. They spend lots of time outside and doing crafts which she loves. She is always so happy to go to nursery and runs in with out looking back everyday!
