The staff at Monkey Puzzle have been absolutely fantastic with our son and really brought out his confidence. He had become a lot more sociable with other children and this has been possible thank you Monkey Puzzle. The weekly updates and photos have been great to see what he gets up to and he can't wait to go back to nursery and see his friends and the staff.
My overall experience with Monkey Puzzle has been nothing but excellent. My son is always happy at the nursery and always comes home saying what a good time he has had. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and show that they enjoy caring for the children. The outdoor play area is amazing and my son loves it. The day-to-day activities are great and have an amazing variation. Would definitely recommend.

Throughout her nursery life she has enjoyed a fantastic environment. The food is amazing. The activities she has had access to have definitely helped her get ready for primary school. The educational side of the activities they cover, really help and support the work we do at home with her.
The staff have been great, supporting her when she needed extra support (speech issues, toilet training). We have all enjoyed the Monkey Puzzle experience. Thank you.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since summer 2022. She clearly loved her experience here and I'm pleased to say that she has made friends with her peers and teachers alike.
My children have grown socially, physically and academically since their time at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery. The staff have given them attention, love, care and made sure they have always felt safe and secure. They have helped them grow in confidence and form friendships with their peers. I feel they are very prepared for school thanks to the school readiness programme.
Overall is a very good nursery, my little one loves to go every day and she has learnt a lot since she joined.
The staff all seem excellent and when the kids first started they gave me a lot of confidence in the nursery as a safe place where they would be really well cared for. They know them well and provide genuinely personalised care for them.
Management have also always been very efficient and responsive to my queries and accommodating of any need for last minute extra sessions.

The staff are attentive and caring, they take time to really form bonds with the children and my toddler often talks about them with fondness at home.
The nursery offers a wide range of activities including a sports class for toddlers and Hartbeeps for both age groups which the kids love, as well as loads of arts and crafts, sensory and messy play etc. They have a great garden so kids get lots of time outside through all seasons.
Recently the nursery manager has put a huge focus on staff training, development and making sure they have the right balance of nurturing versus discipline and structure for the older children and this has had a great positive impact. Overall would recommend it and especially for anyone commuting to London looking for a nursery close to the train station.
We love how kind and attentive all the caregivers are and how much effort they put into your little one having a smooth transition. Our son is making leaps and bounds in his development since he started. So happy to have started him here!

My son has been at Monkey Puzzle since May 2019 and will be leaving this summer to go to school. He loves it and I always receive what I need from them in terms of information and support. The nursery supports him in being his own person and his development has been wonderful. I have no doubt that with their support he will be more than ready to hold his own at school. My son has recently started at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Maidenhead and has settled in with ease. The staff are wonderful and they add regular photos and updates onto the app. There appears to be lots of variety for the babies throughout the day and my son is certainly enjoying the food!
The staff respond very promptly to any messages sent to them and they go above and beyond to help when needed.
My daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle since she was a baby. She always seems very happy after her days at the nursery and the staff both in the baby and toddler rooms have been very caring. We are always kept very well up to date on what she does via the App and the staff are great at reaching out if they have a concern. The activities they do always seem very varied and inclusive.
Overall all is good, and my child is enjoying going there and learning fast - letters and everything else.

The staff care so much about the children, there is not a doubt in my mind that this is the best setting for my child to be educated and cared for within.
Key workers take good care of kids. They plan the activities and provide us with weekly observations. It's a good place to start with.
Recently there was an open day where parents were allowed inside the nursery for an hour. It was great to look around the nursery and how kids have their day. I would suggest doing this more often.

Meet the Team (1)
My name is Prerna and I am the owner and manager of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery, Maidenhead.
I believe in hard-work, compassion and kindness and I live by these values. I like to talk about psychology and often sway towards thought provoking topics such as the “meaning of life” and making the most of “the present”.
I started my career as an IT Trainer and then worked as a Consultant in the IT industry for over a decade. I enjoyed the fast-paced working environment, taking on multiple IT projects and travelling across Europe for work.
In late 2015, I became a mum of a beautiful daughter, Keira. I wouldn’t say that having a child slowed me down, however, I started enjoying little things in life like when she clapped her hands together for the first time, her first words, or her first steps. Being a workaholic, I went back to work full time only after 4 months, having to leave her in the nursery. Keira spent more time at the nursery than at home with us.
Then Noel, our son, was born in early 2018. Whilst I was pregnant with him, we took a decision to become a franchisee of Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I love watching and seeing children grow, observing their ever so imagination and creativity, and seeing how they interpret the world around them. I am looking forward to working in childcare. I feel my skill set from my previous experiences will help to make this nursery a success and I cannot wait to see many more children taking their first steps and learning life skills in preparation for ‘big school’ and beyond
