Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery in Maidenhead offers a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under five years of age. The staff at Monkey Puzzle have been absolutely fantastic with our son and really brought out his confidence. He had become a lot more sociable with other children and this has been possible thank you Monkey Puzzle. The weekly updates and photos have been great to see what he gets up to and he can't
wait to go back to nursery and see his friends and the staff.

My overall experience with Monkey Puzzle has been nothing but excellent. My son is always happy at the nursery and always comes home saying what a good time he has had. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and show that they enjoy caring for the children. The outdoor play area is amazing and my
son loves it. The day-to-day activities are great and have an amazing variation. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle since she was 11 months old (she is now 4 and a half).
Throughout her nursery life she has enjoyed a fantastic environment. The food is amazing. The activities she has had access to have definitely helped her get ready for primary school. The educational side
of the activities they cover, really help and support the work we do at home with her.
The staff have been great, supporting her when she needed extra support (speech issues, toilet training). We have all enjoyed the Monkey Puzzle experience. Thank you.

Never fails to surprise us what our son has learnt and his understanding of the world arrived him that we wouldn't have thought to teach him the bond he has formed with his key workers has beyond doubt helped him to become the curious, energetic individual he is and that he also understands discipline
and boundaries and the reason for these.
We feel he is now more than ready for school, thanks to the input and lessons he's learnt from being at Monkey Puzzles. We will always be grateful to them for this great start in his life.

Our kids have loved attending this nursery. The range of activities they do is really great and they always seem super happy when we pick them up.
The staff all seem excellent and when the kids first started they gave me a lot of confidence in the nursery as a safe place where they would be really
well cared for. They know them well and provide genuinely personalised care for them.
Management have also always been very efficient and responsive to my queries and accommodating of any need for last minute extra sessions.
I would definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery!

Both of our children attend Monkey Puzzle and have done since they started nursery so we have experienced both the baby room and the toddler room.
The staff are attentive and caring, they take time to really form bonds with the children and my toddler often talks about them with fondness at home.
The
nursery offers a wide range of activities including a sports class for toddlers and Hartbeeps for both age groups which the kids love, as well as loads of arts and crafts, sensory and messy play etc. They have a great garden so kids get lots of time outside through all seasons.
Recently the nursery manager has put a huge focus on staff training, development and making sure they have the right balance of nurturing versus discipline and structure for the older children and this has had a great positive impact. Overall would recommend it and especially for anyone commuting to London looking for a nursery close to the train station.

My son has recently started at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Maidenhead and has settled in with ease. The staff are wonderful and they add regular photos and updates onto the app. There appears to be lots of variety for the babies throughout the day and my son is certainly enjoying the food!

My child has been attending Monkey Puzzle for nearly 8 months and she loves it. She runs into the staff's arms in the morning and really seems to gain from the education that they provide. This goes for me, too - the pictures and descriptions provided by staff via the parent portal show me the activities
that they undertake and help give me ideas for things to do at home; a fantastic resource for rainy days!
The staff respond very promptly to any messages sent to them and they go above and beyond to help when needed.

The nursery has been great. My kid has been going to Monkey Puzzle for the last year. I can see he has grown so much mentally. His communication has improved a lot.
Key workers take good care of kids. They plan the activities and provide us with weekly observations. It's a good place to start with.
Recently
there was an open day where parents were allowed inside the nursery for an hour. It was great to look around the nursery and how kids have their day. I would suggest doing this more often.

Job Title: Nursery Owner Joined: 2019

My name is Prerna and I am the owner and manager of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery, Maidenhead.


I believe in hard-work, compassion and kindness and I live by these values. I like to talk about psychology and often sway towards thought provoking topics such as the “meaning of life” and making the most of “the present”.


I started my career as an IT Trainer and then worked as a Consultant in the IT industry for over a decade. I enjoyed the fast-paced working environment, taking on multiple IT projects and travelling across Europe for work.


In late 2015, I became a mum of a beautiful daughter, Keira. I wouldn’t say that having a child slowed me down, however, I started enjoying little things in life like when she clapped her hands together for the first time, her first words, or her first steps. Being a workaholic, I went back to work full time only after 4 months, having to leave her in the nursery. Keira spent more time at the nursery than at home with us.


Then Noel, our son, was born in early 2018. Whilst I was pregnant with him, we took a decision to become a franchisee of Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I love watching and seeing children grow, observing their ever so imagination and creativity, and seeing how they interpret the world around them. I am looking forward to working in childcare. I feel my skill set from my previous experiences will help to make this nursery a success and I cannot wait to see many more children taking their first steps and learning life skills in preparation for ‘big school’ and beyond
