Park Avenue Montessori Nursery

My little boy really struggled with settling and separation but the nursery staff are fantastic at helping him in each morning and he always comes home having had a fab day. The feedback system is great as I can see photos and details of activities and progress.

We couldn't be any happier with this nursery! This is our second child at Pear Tree Montessori and we're really glad we found it. Our daughter loves going to nursery and we are also very happy about the Montessori approach. The staff are amazing and helpful and very caring.

My two sons (4.5, 2.5) have been/currently go to Pear Tree Montessori Nursery. It is a phenomenal nursery and would very much recommend (my friend is about to start her daughter here next month).

We've the option of sending our second son to his school nursery at 3, but will likely stay at Pear Tree Montessori Nursery, as it gave them such a good grounding in all the life essentials.

I am absolutely delighted with Pear Tree Montessori. My 15-month-old daughter absolutely loves going and can't wait to get through the door when I drop her off in the morning. The activities that they do every day are wonderful, and it's fantastic to be able to see what the children do each day. I have every confidence in the staff who are all warm and friendly. I couldn't be happier with Pear Tree and can't recommend it highly enough.

Just wonderful. A lovely homely feeling, very clean and the staff are all lovely. I have no doubt our son's amazing progress is a credit to the staff and environment at Pear Tree. We're delighted to have seen his self-confidence in himself and with peers grow immensely. Our youngest daughter has recently joined too, and we had no hesitation in sending her to Pear Tree.

I'm really pleased I chose this nursery for my daughter. The staff members approach is warm and caring and I really like the ethos of the nursery and the way they treat each child as an individual and not just a number. I love the activities they do and the outside area is great, my daughter loves attending. Really pleased with the food all being home-cooked and how accommodating the nursery is of any dietary needs. The nursery is also very good at keeping you up to date with things such as what your child is doing in the day (a photo helps an anxious mum so much) and also what is happening with the nursery on a general basis, communication overall is very good.

We have been delighted with the Pear Tree ever since our little girl started there two months ago. There are so many reasons to love this place from the calm, loving influence of the staff, the excellent activities they do every day and to the great communication with parents. We love the daily updates we get at the pick-up time of how her day has been, the developmental updates through the app and the fun pictures and videos we get everyday recording her day. Being at work and seeing her having such a fantastic time makes it all such a great decision that we chose the Pear Tree.

Pear Tree is a warm, welcoming, safe and fun place for my two children to learn and gain independence. We have always greeted with a smile at the door and a wave goodbye at the end of a busy day. The staff are so patient and kind and they are able to create wonderful, incentive and engaging activities. My children love playing in the garden which is beautiful, private and secure. It is quite clear that every member of staff is well trained, enjoys their job and genuinely care for the children that attend. Managers keep you updated with information and during this pandemic, the nursery have responded efficiently and safely, prioritising the needs of the children and their staff. Pear Tree really is a home from home. My children love playing in their slippers, enjoying all the fresh air they are offered and love eating the delicious homecooked food. Thanks, Pear Tree for being so fabulous.

I would recommend this nursery to anyone at all. I moved my 1st child here after an unsatisfactory experience at another childcare setting and, 4 years later my 3rd child is about to start here. You cannot fault the setting and the staff. The garden is beautiful and the nursery is a warm and nurturing environment. The chef is absolutely wonderful and every member of staff including the managers are excellent, professional and child-centred. I’ll only be sad when my last child is leaving!

As first-time parents, we cannot thank the staff at Pear Tree Montessori Nursery enough for their dedication, support and reassurance since our son started, back in June 2020. It has been such a delight to watch our son become so settled at nursery, building close relationships with so many of the staff and now seeing him learn and grow, even within the short amount of time he has been there. We've been so impressed with the daily routines the staff provide for the children, with such a vast array of activities to stimulate and entertain, as well as their approach to promoting outdoor play. Even through these unprecedented times, as parents we have still felt very much informed and involved in what our son has been getting up to, and whether through photo updates or one-to-one handovers the staff's passion always comes through.

My daughter loves going to the daycare and she's always very happy, the garden is lovely and the people really care about the children. They're doing a lot of activities, including music and outside playtime, which help to support the kid's development.

My Daughter started full time at Pear Tree in July 2020 aged two, after attending another setting previously. We are extremely happy that we have moved facilities. My daughter has settled in extremely quickly and is thriving at her new nursery, she is happy, confident and constantly learning and developing new skills and independence as well as making new friends. The staff are great at communicating and are able to answer any queries promptly, and we receive updates about our child’s day through a number of mediums. The team in her class have made her extremely welcome, including tailoring activities to complement her interests as well as expanding her horizons.

My daughter started in September 2020 and after a few initial settle sessions is currently going 2 days per week. She has settled so quickly, and we have been very happy with her care. The staff do such lovely things with the children, and are very communicative and responsive throughout the day. We couldn't be happier with Pear Tree.

Our daughter absolutely loves Pear Tree, and our second daughter will be starting there in the new year. My daughter attends two days a week and is so happy when we tell her the night before, or when she wakes up in the morning, that it is a nursery day. When she's not at nursery she's constantly talking about the staff and her friends there, and she sleeps like a log on nursery days - which tells me she's been busy and had a lot of fun! We also feel that her learning and other social skills have improved dramatically since she started attending Pear Tree, and that is just from two days per week.

We cannot recommend Pear Tree Montessori nursery enough. They have such a high standard of care, I had no concerns dropping my youngest off for her first day after months of not being away from me during lockdown. They have been very well organised since opening post lockdown and provide the extra reassurance that the children (and parents) need. There is a great range of activities for the children to engage in and lots of time spent outdoors. They foster such great independence in the children so much so that my 15 month old wants to do everything herself. My eldest has just left Pear Tree for reception and the pre-school staff worked so hard to ease the transition to school. They prepared them well emotionally, talking about school and explaining it all to them; and also mentally, fostering enjoyment in phonics and early writing skills. For such a busy nursery, the atmosphere is always calm, the children always seem very happy and engaged and the staff are always smiling.

I could go on for pages, but in short the facilities are lovely, the people are amazing and my children are very happy there!

Lovely facilities, caring, responsive staff and happy, thriving children. Offer winter and summer menus, have a fabulous garden, and they give my son lots of cuddles. They also understand the complex needs of babies (mine went from 11-months), don't swamp the kids with plastic toys, and there is a lovely, calm feeling when you go there. Managed covid well and give a nice bag to you to use for all your child's bits and pieces. Very happy with the place.

Even before we committed to Pear Tree Montessori, we were extremely impressed by the tour provided by a staff member. Now our son has just started attending nursery at Pear Tree Montessori, we couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff are friendly and show genuine interest and care for our son. We love the Montessori ethics and how they promote independence. The facilities are great, especially the garden area, which is used by the children for at least an hour every day. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter loves Pear Tree Nursery and always looks forward to going. I would really recommend it to anyone looking for more than just your standard nursery. Our daughter has really come on in her development since joining and I put that down to the good work Pear Tree are doing.

My baby started this nursery in April this year and has really developed a lot mentally and physically since attending. He is my first child so we was very nervous when he first started but cannot fault this place at all. He fitted into the place so well without shedding a tear as the teachers are so welcoming and caring. It has the best teachers who all know every child even if they don’t look after them. The teachers tailor activities to suit the children’s interests which is so thoughtful as you can imagine the huge range of things that can be. They help teach and encourage children to be independent, which really helps them develop. I would definitely without a doubt recommend this nursery as it is outstanding in all areas.
