My daughter's preschool journey with Pear Tree Montessori Nursery has been very positive. The staff show a keen interest in her and her development. As parents, we get regular informal and formal feedback and it’s always nice to be greeted with a smile.

Our daughter loves attending Pear Tree and has been coming here for the last 2 years. The staff are kind and caring and the facilities are fantastic. She loves the outside space and does a great range of activities each day. The Montessori ethos has encouraged her to be very independent and helped develop her confidence. Great healthy food too. Couldn’t recommend the nursery enough.

Our son has been attending Pear Tree for 2.5 years now and is really happy there. The staff are brilliant at responding to the children's individual likes and experiences and building activities that tie in. We have seen our son's confidence grow dramatically over the past year, and I think Pear Tree has been a big part of this.

Most of all, my baby comes home happy! What more could you ask for?

and we have found there is a great balance of focusing on child development, interest and play. The staff cannot do enough to accommodate activities that speak to your child's interest e.g organising a morning in the kitchen for my son who loves baking, and are incredibly helpful when asked to help with certain development points, changes etc. The nursery has also been brilliant at catering for a vegan diet, making sure that my son is always included when non-vegan treats are brought in, etc. Its focus on independence and community-led activities set it aside from other nurseries - taking the children shopping, to the local care home, reinforcing domestic skills etc, always in a nurturing way, is quite unique.

We looked at quite a few nurseries in the area and what stood out for us was the family feel at Pear Tree Montessori Nursery which is down to the amazing staff. We were lucky to get a spot and our son has settled in very quickly. The children seem really happy and the staff are very creative and thoughtful with the activities throughout the week. Have been impressed with the food menu too.

Easily the best nursery my daughter has been to. The staff are very caring and attentive to her emotions, her well being and activities. My daughter always comes home smiling or singing and sometimes with baked biscuits, art, and paintings and is always excited to be going to nursery! I highly recommend Pear Tree Montessori Nursery!

My daughter is 4 years old and has been going since she was 15 months old. She has come out of her shell so much over the years and her development is improving fantastic with the lovely staff. The nursery is a lovely environment and is always clean. Absolutely gutted this is our final year before the school adventure starts. You are a lovely team at Pear tree! Keep up the hard work.

Pear Tree is a lovely nursery. The staff are all so caring and are great with the children - they adapt activities in the classroom to suit children's interests and make it fun and engaging. All three of my children have attended the nursery and I would happily recommend it to others.

I feel proud to see my little one developing into a very confident and independent individual. Highly recommended nursery!

Peartree is the most amazing nursery. My child has been attending since she was 6 months, she’s now in preschool and enjoying her last few months before she starts school.

She has been cared for and supported every day. The people who work there are thoughtful and attentive. I am so grateful for all they do.

The environment is calm and each child is welcome to express themselves in their own way.

If your child has the chance to attend Peartree it will be the best experience.

One slight problem is the number of staff changes in my child’s class. She is often greeted by different staff members, and as she finds it difficult to go in, in the morning, it can be very emotional for her with the lack of a key person to greet her.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the last 18 months. It is an amazing nursery. I feel the staff truly understand and know my daughters strange and wonderful habits. The staff are very polite and lovely and I believe attending this nursery has really helped her development. She loves telling me all about her day on the way home and about all her friends and she is so happy which is all you want as a parent.

Excellent, lovely nursery and fantastic activities and communication through tapestry. Staff are great with the children and give good handover information. Informative patents evenings and other opportunities for patents to get involved.

The staff at Pear Tree were really accommodating to his needs and supported both us as parents as well as our son.

It was one of the best decisions we made to send him to Pear Tree and we will forever be grateful for all the support we have been given.

It’s very easy to feel you’re dropping your little ones off to be one of just a number of children who will all be treated the same. Pear tree go above and beyond to meet the individual needs of each child in a thoughtful, educational and encouraging way. Helping integrate learning and development at home and at nursery through regular updates, emails and other communications makes everything progress as smoothly as possible

We have two children at Pear Tree who have attended for over a year. The staff really care for the children and put so much into each of the activities to suit their needs and interests. Every day they do something new and interesting, with regular updates on the closed Facebook group, as well as detailed observations on tapestry. The food menu is varied and nutritious. Communication and feedback is excellent, there are regular parents evenings and parent-only meetings to discuss changes or make suggestions, as well as regular email newsletters. The garden is excellent, well maintained with lots for the children to do. The closed Facebook group has been a particular highlight for us as we’ve been able to see our children interacting with friends, seeing them with their peers doing activities has been especially important due to covid meaning we’re never physically in their rooms at pick up or drop off. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pear Tree to others.

My daughter started at Pear Tree in August, the staff has been amazing in helping her settle and keeping me in the loop! They always have time to provide feedback each day and I genuinely feel that they have a good knowledge of my daughter. The range of activities is great, my little girl now goes in arms open to the staff each day!
